  3. Unless you're going to build your own box, the differences between various manufacturers are largely cosmetic (and therefore unimportant when talking about performance). I've had HPs, Lenovos, Dells, Asus, Acer, etc, etc. At some point in my relationship with all the vendors, I've had their product just absolutely shit the bed and multiply my work load.. In the end it all comes down to hardware loadout. I've got very little bandwidth for brand snobbery.

  9. The HP on Blasters is generally too low to make stacking Resists DELIBERATELY worth it. Defense is a lot more useful because of it's binary (all or nothing) nature.

  18. I've moved to "More Is Better" with the release of regular Incarnate Content. Because getting your butt kicked by the "You exit the graveyard to hordes of Incarnate-Level +4x8 Banished Pantheon" in 30 seconds SUCKS!
  19. Going to disagree. On Vectored (Melee, Ranged, AoE) Defense sets, chase vectored Defense until you hit the low 50's. Then fill in with Resist and Regen where you can. On Typed (S/L, E/N, F/C, etc) Defense sets, chase Typed Defense until you hit the low 50's. Then fill in with Resist and Regen where you can. On Resist sets. Work on maxing or near-maxing as many Resists as you can. If you get a chance to slather a bit of Defense over the top and some Regen underneath, do it. Just don't depend on Defense in lieu of your higher Resists. Most regen...build your Resists as high as you can... Most mixed-armor are essentially Vectored or Typed Defense.
  20. (A) is the first slot you get just by picking the power (Automatic). Anything else is the level at which you added that slot. Mids also has a tool built in to reassign slots in natural level progression order. Rather than a build of "squeezed a slot in MUCH later", etc. Slots/Enhancements --> Slots --> Auto-Arrange All Slots Here's a Throw together". Notice how levels of various slots is kinda all over the place? And here's the slot-optimized version:
