Yeah, going Fighting-free, it frees up a few slots. While lack of the pool will leave you SLIGHTLY more vulnerable, boosting your investment in Dull Pain will cover you fairly well.

Not QUITE. Basically the first buyout had a bunch of insane indemnifications they wanted, and when asked about them, they simply clammed up and stopped responding. That and the price being asked was, while not INSANE, WAS a bit "Let's see just how stupid they are!". -
With Elec/Fire/Rad, you know, the Resist-based Armors, they can be VERY tough. However, remember that whatever Defense you layer on comes right off with Defense debuffs. Therefore, even with technically inferior Resists, they generally deliver overall superior performance.

In my framework builds, Tough is usually only ever a mule for Tanks/Brutes. CAN you still build tough? Sure. This build won't start out QUITE as tough with 0 enemies in range. Not QUITE soft-capped to E/N with 0 enemies in range (44.7%). But this will build Defense slightly faster. And with 1 enemy in range, you're perfectly fine. Okay, this isn't REALLY a "Guide" so much as a set of pre-prepped builds in Mid's/Pine's. The basic touchstones are more or less identical across Tanks, Brutes, Scrappers and Sentinels. So I'm going to provide the templates pre-built and slotted out for Invuln, Fighting, Leaping, Maneuvers (when needed) and the basic expectations for Health and Stamina. There's also the possibility of damage to the Plug & Play subsystem. I had this happen to me a few years back. MOST of my USB stuff continued to work. But any new devices failed to install properly. Usually this is Windows telling you "REINSTALL ME! OR ELSE!!!"

Endurance fiend that I am, I'm the exact opposite. Defense offered is virtually identical. But CJ's endurance cost is roughly 1/3rd that of Hover. Add to that, flight powers can interfere with attacks that REQUIRE you to be on the ground unless you've FIRMLY nailed yourself to minimum height...

By itself, with only Generic IOs, yeah. It's nothing special. Fully optioned out, after set bonuses tune you up, put on big tires, chrome your exhaust and give you a gaudy paint job, you're far, FAR more survivable...

As noted, just about anything modern. Even a multi-core i3 running highly clocked will run the game fine. It's just recommended that you get a discrete graphics card. AMD will generally work. But not everyone likes them. Full disclosure: I'm in this crowd. I've generally had better, more stable experiences with NVIDIA setups. If you're trying for 1920x1080 at reasonable quality settings, pretty much ANYTHING in the last three generations of video card will work fine. If you're looking for 4K+ gaming, look in the actual "gaming/enthusiast" class cards. -
