  1. Looking at your proposed set, what I see is a mixture of different damage types and debuffs, with a lot of fancy names. I'll ask the same question I've posed in various other such threads - what, specifically, makes this set "magic"? If it's the animations, then those could be added to or expanded upon for every powerset. If, ultimately, what you're after, is a set that deals a bunch of different damage types along with a smorgasbord of secondary effects, then propose that. To shoehorn in a specific origin is just counterproductive...
  2. No, I was referring to the hypothetical of Dominatrix masquerading as Ms. Liberty, and as part of her ruse, she sends you to defeat some "renegade Longbow", who are actually not renegade at all...
  3. She could even present that there's this rogue element of Longbow that you need to deal with, all the while you're attacking "good" ones, then the true plot gets unveiled.
  4. I highly doubt they'd do something quite so on the nose, and it's probably why we never got an APP with both laser beam eyes and frost breath.
  5. Welcome to how MMOs have to function - they can't remove entire villain groups for everyone just because you completed the associated story arc or TF. If anything, this is better addressed via you moving form 1 zone to another, since it also kind of represents moving ahead in time. If this were a single player game, enemy groups would essentially go extinct as you took down their leaders and zones would meaningfully change as you made your mark on the world, but when you have to share that space with many other players, not so much...
  6. Yeah.. They should have called it "Remotely Detonated Bomb", because that is the only aspect of it that can be done, well, remotely...

    Nin vs SR

SR is a scalpel and Nin is a swiss army knife; One does one thing exceptionally well, while the other has a multitude of tricks up its sleeve. Personally, I love the Sentinel and Scrapper version of Nin better than the Stalker one, but to skip those tools leaves you with basically half a set...
  8. So is Ortega Lydia's daughter? I wonder if they'll address who the father is/was, if so. I just hope they don't try to replace Keaton's wit and presence with gratuitous CGI...
  9. I'd start here and pick-and-choose what content you find most interesting. That being said, this is a world based upon comic books and pop culture, so I doubt you'll ever find anything completely devoid of such influences...
  10. Since you mentioned Bio Armor, are you sure that you don't have Genetic Contamination toggled on? I feel like there's some part of the equation that is missing, here...
  11. Is there an echo or something? Just turn off your taunt aura...
  12. I can click the link to see the image, (cool costume btw), but I can't see it within the forum itself.
  13. Maybe it's just me, but besides some background NPCs in labcoats in some of the Portal Corps interiors, who do they actually employ? Do they have their own security forces? We have what appears to be US Military in the Shadow Shard, but surely Portal Corps would have access to units similar to the PPD, or maybe even Vanguard. I'd love to see some of that kind of stuff implemented...
  14. When you comes right down to it, play what you love. Frankly, I'm more impressed by those that can put together a cohesive look and build/play competently than what particular powersets they chose...
  15. From a mechanics standpoint, absolutely, but in how the Rangers are presented, it's more like invuln or willpower, as there's generally not the kind of energy spheres you get with energy aura...
  16. The thing is, Power Rangers get hit all the time, so /SR doesn't seem like the correct armor set to give them...
  17. Maybe just have a sort of "Read more" option, or just expand the mission window, to include the actual mission objectives before you're in the mission...
  18. The problem with CO, and we're seeing this in Fallout 76 as well, is that after they've made the initial investment into the main world/zones, everything after basically boils down to instanced content; They don't want to make significant changes to the main world space, and there's this almost pathological hatred of revamping the old content to update old enemies as new powersets or mechanics are released. Everything has either been lockboxes or alerts, (small per-team instanced events that use sections of existing maps). They tried what is essentially their version of taskforces, but those petered out early in the game's life.
  19. TBH, I don't think that is enough. I think you need the absorb like sentinels get and permanent extra HP to increase the threshold before you are defeated. Further, maybe you need something like a potent self heal that automatically kicks in when you get low in health.
  20. For melee ATs, yeah - if incoming damage > regen rate, you lose, otherwise you win. That being said, it does benefit greatly from stacking other forms of mitigation, but that's still of little comfort given that requires investing multiple power picks or spending lots of inf on set bonuses...
  21. I hear ya. If it's any consolation, the sentinel version of regen is actually pretty good.
  22. Have you tried... not being /regen? 🤔
  23. Why are you having to squint? You can adjust your interface scale if that's an issue. Heck, I'm pretty sure you can resize the team window itself if you unclick the little blue button/pip.
  24. While they may appear to be fiery, they actually deal toxic damage and are described as "hellfire" and causing corruption, so it could work as part of a toxic assault assault set...
  25. Perhaps, but it wouldn't be nearly as bad in regular content. But we can do multiple things at once; Up the henchmen's speed and adjust their tethering/leashing.
