New to the game. Need help with Going Rogue TF
Glacier Peak replied to CallMeMal's topic in General Discussion
The best place to look in game is on the chat tab where it says "LFG." It shows a list of all task forces, strike forces, hero trials, incarnate trials, and summer blockbuster events. -
Are you excited about the future of the MCU?
Glacier Peak replied to DougGraves's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Toby Maguire Spiderman ftw! Yeah, long running comics in general follow really stale story cycles. I think the MCU is taking the right approach to making comic book characters in to live action characters. I've been happy with the products since 2008 - they make great summer popcorn flicks and give me just the right level of humor, action, and easter eggin'. -

You nailed the audio style! I am discovering these for the first time, so I want to listen to them one by one. Really excited! -

Wow they have great voice work in this! REALLY reminds me of radio drama characters from the oooooold days. -
Oddly out of place? I will not stand for such dishonor. My sentiment exists right where it needs to be, which is in response to your post @'ing me. And that should be enough for you. Full sentence: "There isn't a cavalcade of nefarious intent wrapped in a cloak of ambiguity," used to illustrate the themes of your post which indicated conspiracy and maligned actions. Nope, most actually no hidden agenda. And wow... how does one know of something that they don't know? A fallacy, you say? Provide the evidence if you wish to use it, otherwise the supposition is moot. Healthy ways to address paranoia? How about just agree that good hearted volunteers who enjoy the game and community are doing their best? I don't abide by those who denigrate the HC team for keeping this game and community online. This has nothing to do with the current discussion of player archetypes being used or in future content designed for increased difficulty options. As I said before, it is veering far off topic altogether... To your second point, you could follow your own advice. It is the internet, everyone has opinions. I can't tell you how or what to say, likewise you can't do the same to me or anyone else. How far off topic must this continue?

As I was @ in the above, I will reply and without going too far off topic, I feel the need to point out that there isn't anything being played close to the chest in this community. There isn't a cavalcade of nefarious intent wrapped in a cloak of ambiguity - if any player wants to support the community they can do so by testing out the content that the HC team makes, among many other things. If they want to find out what is going on and be at the cutting edge of development, then they can jump in to the scene and start developing powers, costumes, story content, or whatever expertise a player can bring to the team. There is no hidden agenda here, no super secret club, no conspiracy to pull a fast one on anybody. The people who have free time to put in to this game, whether that is playing or testing, or creating content - that is done because it is enjoyable to them. And there are constant updates to the community, whether here on the forums or on the official discord. There are even teasers and bread crumbs for folks to chase after that are in to that sort of thing. Last little bit here - you both express appreciation in your response to the HC devs above and then reek perturbation and ignominy on the same kind based on past indignity (which you stated was in no way related to Homecoming, but as a generalization of the video game industry). That is seriously despondent, it ain't half bad here - it is a good community! And why are you reaching out rhetorically to ask how you can help the community? I have seen your account support this community. Either way, to answer your inquiry:
-
Got some real paranoid folks in this community! If the past two and a half years have taught us anything, its that the faith we have in our volunteer team hasn't been misplaced. When the next page gets dropped for testing on Brainstorm, they will solicit feedback like they always do, and if appropriate, make changes as they always do.

Why is the Regeneration power set not available to tanks?
Glacier Peak replied to cohRock's topic in General Discussion
I'll venture a guess? Regeneration rate is directly tied to max health. With Tanks having the highest max health, the amount of health regenerated would be unbalanced? -
Spoilers!

Slot Power Transfer: Chance for Self Heal in to a few attacks and passives, it's awesome!

All good, just letting you know they said 'beacon' in Discord, not 'bacon.' It is not a big deal, the meaning just came across a little humorous.

List of badges that only the team leader receives
Glacier Peak replied to KaizenSoze's topic in Badges
Interesting! I play solo a lot so this never crossed my mind. Unfortunately, I can't think of any off the top of my head. -
I'm sure you meant 'beacon.'

Farm fresh builds! *Farming focused builds and tips*
Glacier Peak replied to Warlawk's topic in Guides
I have been using this above build for the past two years now. It remains relevant and one of the top performing farming builds. Other factors aside from the build when considering farming - objective such as passive farming aka "away from keyboard," or 1-50 in two hours active farming, or influence, badge, or incarnate salvage farming, etc. If you haven't had the chance to read through the past 15 pages on this thread or ventured to other areas of this forum, the jist of farming in this game is that it's very flexible. Identify your objective or purpose, then build a character around that. I have a radiation/fire Brute with two builds, one that I use for farming AE meteor maps (capped fire res & def) and the second to farm outside AE (capped fire/smashing/lethal res & def). I also use the character for incarnate trials and badge farming. At the end of the day, I play what I enjoy and I enjoy how I play. Your results may vary! -
At what level did you make 6x Tier4 incarnate?
Glacier Peak replied to cohRock's topic in General Discussion
Yeah mine was about the same, Vet Level 37. -

Ah okay, what I usually do if someone posts a build, really any build not just farming, is look at the set bonuses that are achieved with that particular slotting. -

The enhancement that is slotted in Vengeance adds 10% global recharge. It's from the Luck of the Gambler defense invention origin set. This global recharge buff is always active when slotted and you can have up to five total in a character build.
