  1. Really depends on how often you need a heal. On an invul you have lots of resistance and good defense, so its not that often. Dull pain works great. And of course it means the team can heal you to fill those extra hp. On a Regen, the extra Regen for more hp matters a lot more since they have a big regen bonus. Plus they also have a normal self heal.
  2. You mean arresting people by slicing them with a giant sword isn't heroic?
  3. Sonic melee Smash people with cymbals
  4. Good point. Sonic/NRG used to be popular for this reason. Debuff resist then pink pompom Smash!
  5. Well yeah. Also the old primaries having their pboes gutted is a problem. But its a Stalker set problem, not a Stalker problem. Its easy to pick powersets that will do everything you want them to.
  6. Does Martial Arts really need buffed though? Its is a pretty good place. Except for Stalkers not getting Dragons Tail
  7. There is no problem though, Stalkers are awesome. So apply more Snark!
  8. This will only slightly reduce the top performance for those brutes who have capped resistances, for only those resistances they have capped. In all other cases (vast majority) its a big buff. So.. No.
  9. The redside arcs are well done. I'm through to level 30 on my completionist run
  10. WM really seems like the TW lite that is much more day to day livable.
  11. I do that too lol I have a lot of 50s who need rebuilt
  12. Redside villains are more mercenary criminals vying for power than axe crazy lunatics. More Blackgate than Arkham. They are still villains but not of the wanton murder orphanage burning stripe. Yes it would have been cool if they lived in zones that were the "bad" parts of Paragon city instead of a corrupt banana republic, but oh well.
  13. I never take travel powers
  14. And some give up almost nothing. I can definitely see why this bothers some people's sense of fairness. I prefer EnA for this reason.
  15. Some have said the chance for build up global proc needs to be in a power that gets used periodically so the game doesn't forget you have it Also, its nice to have it in something you have access to at low level for exemplar reasons. So I like to put it in my T2 attack.
  16. Yeah I kind of got the vibe that Gold side was a bit a shade of Vigilantes and Rogues. The Power and Crusader Arcs definitely are the more villainous choices. Playing the Oppressor or the Terrorist. But one persons Terrorist might be anothers Freedom Fighter. The Oppressors might be Oppressing because there was a Hami Appocolypse and feel its for the greater good. The nuance Goldside is definitely more interesting than the black and white morality of prime earth. (Or red and blue)
  17. If you dont mind slow slogging attacks Titan Weapons is a beast. Maybe TW/WP If thats too slow sloggy, go WM instead.
  18. FF is one of those sets you love to see at lower levels. At high level it becomes somewhat redundant. Not 100% so though, thanks to the mezz resist bubble. That is always awesome. If only more bubblers would follow blasters into Melee ... Maybe that would be a good use for the guardian idea.
  19. Just get the ATO procs at level 7 and shift into racecar mode. Wait on Assassins strike? Its too slooow. It for using in combat! Just play a super scrapper with 3x the build ups and 2x the crits
  20. You could use Kat or BS to get the defense numbers I suppose which would open up maybe Shield (BS only) and Invul. But only to Melee. or Lethal Not Melee *and* AOE. Also not any other types. TW could sort of do similar. But only to smashing and melee. But the build is tighter since TW is such a hog, will make it harder to build super high def. Also it isnt as quick as Parry or DA. Also Staff, much like Kat or BS but smashing I believe.
  21. You do get that its okay that I not only disagree with you, but that I am also not required to engage your arguments. You don't have to agree with me that Nightcrawler's main "support" role is to share around plot armor and provide plot handy transportation, and thus is not really a support character. That's just how I see it. And to me it explains his decline as a character in use in Xmen stories. As they started having more sweeping events, Nightcrawlers limited range and "payload" led to new teleporters that could move large groups much further.
  22. Id make a distinction between characters that that help out their team mates and characters who's main function is support. Spider Man is not really a support character. Its not really his gig. ===== It took a while to find the name .. but .. Xmen Elixir would be a good example. He is basically a healer, heals by touch. That's all he could do at first. Turns out he can also harm by touch, and he augmented his body some using that process. So he is support, fights in melee only, has some limited durability, and tries to keep a low profile. Very similar to this Guardian idea.
