  1. That's pretty impressive for PB considering there is a post in the PB forum that suggests they can't break 101 dps.
  2. Really hear mixed Reviews on Savage to be honest. Its numbers suggest it should be good, but i suspect they are skewed too far to the DOT side.
  3. Katana and Broadsword add defense. Rad armor has resist not defense. Sounds like an awesome combo. They dont have any less AOE radius than most melee sets

  5. Don't think you will see them until you see a fix for rage. Double stacked rage on scrappers would be an issue. Double stacked rage on brutes is where the problem lies now, scrappers would be moreso. Possible SS scrappers ... Luke Cage. Wonder Woman. The Martian Manhunter. She-Hulk. Warpath. Rogue.
  6. Im curious about how the taunt aura works. WP taunt is listed in mids/pines as mag 3, while SR is mag 4 but low duration. If taunt mag actually matters (since you hear conflicting info on this) then it should be possible to slot taunt duration to shore up the SR problem some. ===== Fire imo would not be top teir since its not as durable as invul or wp. But of course since tankers usually have durability to spare it can be great at making up some of the damage issues tankers deal with. SR is actually an interesting case my SR tank was over the softcap to all positions at level 18. So i can't think of a faster maturing set. Stone actually could use looked at. Maybe its negatives are a little too drastic now with IOs letting other sets be so unkillable. Much easier to build a invul to basically be granite tough for all practical purposes, than it is for stone to build to do damage similar to that invul
  7. Energy Aura was the replacement/counterpart set for /ice armor when COV released No blueside ATs got them till later. The effect of the patron Scorpion shield is also copied from EA. But basically the sets are very similar. Typed defense, A defense boosting drain, a slowing pboe toggle, etc. So, really its there, its just Ice. That said, it would be cool to have EA on tankers now.
  8. The irony being that the set identified as bad and the set identified as good are from a base damage standpoint pretty close to each other. Closer than most the others. The big difference being Broadsword's cone which isn't really much of an AOE.
  9. Ive done Ghost Widows and Black Scorpions. Both involved a "rival". Wonder if the other two do as well.
  10. A lot of the original power sets use the same animations. Not sure how using them here would be different?
  11. It might be. No other tanker times have been posted that I saw? Also it looks like TW does maybe 100dps more than the other good ST scrapper primaries.
  12. Well its definitely not fair for it to only affect Dark Melees self dmg buff. Thus would also mean less damage for the Rad armor set, i imagine.
  13. You only need to be in that last mission with someone doing the arc to get the badge/unlock. You don't even have to be 35.
  14. There is another power customizayion section to the right of the primary/secondary. But it does not show until you pick a pool / epic. Also, only pools you have show. However it remembers customizations for example you customize hasten for min fx then respec with no hasten then pick hasten later it will still have min fx.

  16. I guess the thugs are representing, while the mercs are just following orders. All the MM pets could stand a little more survivability. Its almost like they were balanced when the game only had SOs and no incarnates Even the "durable" pets are only relatively durable with certain secondaries. Hence the popular Demons/thermal, Bots/FF, thugs/dark, etc parings. Make it so the ranged pets don't try and melee. Buff the melees pets def/res Revist the level shifts? Maybe those are a bit much nowadays. Maybe one less. Give Mercs more hp so the dang medic can actually heal one before they die? Does the medic have a rez? If not, why not? Same with the lich. How come the MM has to do all the work? Anyway /signed. It shouldn't be necessary to pick one of a handful of "good" combos.
  17. As many have suggested, the set seems to have been balanced around a single rage active 120 out of 130 seconds. Course that means footstomp was intended to be the best melee AOE. But that's fine, some power has to be. It pays for it with jab. Which is really really bad. And the level progression. Which is terrible. Considering other sets have been buffed since issue 0, maybe once the Rage issue is settled SS can actually get seriously looked at.
  18. EA is pretty good now overall. While no offensive bonus it does provide +recharge and two Endurance powers. One of which buffs defense and drains enemy end. The other is a self heal and regen buff. The scrapper and brute version also debuffs enemy recharge a little bit
  19. Id say Energy is middle of the pack. Though it has some nice base damage for the first 2 blasts. It also has no quirky power choices 3 st blasts 1 snipe 1 ST "control" (i guess) 1 cone with a fast animation. 1 targetted AOE 1 nuke
  20. Im curious whether dwarf and nova have better single target dps than human form. Since they both have better damage scale. Tbh it shouldn't be necessary for anyone in any AT at the incarnate level to have to use pool powers to reach 101 dps. Is PB damage so low because of how their inherent works?
  21. Lol. Yeah. Its that bad. Or maybe just move the spawn point so its mot under the yellow click diamond.
  22. I just assumed it would be part of power customization. Much like the animation customization available in sets like super strength and martial arts. The hand grenade option could be made available for Assault Rifle as well. Also i think the Soldier mastermind set has a grenade attack?
  23. This would definitely be a good QOL fix. Or at least give a big "customize powers for all costumes" button.
  24. The overweight options could possibly be done by increasing how far the sliders will affect the body? Double the slider range maybe, no idea what's feasible.
  25. There is a hand grenade animation. Its used in several places. And there is a no redraw mace in the warmace set. Perhaps combining these two things would work.
