  1. I would be ok with this option. Cut all T5 origin power effects by a 3rd and then standardize their recharges around 90s.
  2. Lightning Rod is indeed amazing and similar powers would indeed be cool, but you sure are barking up the wrong tree if you think Energy Transfer is the power to sacrifice here 🙂 That said, I hope this isn’t too obvious... you have tried Shield Charge, right?
  3. You are also free to just skip all melee range powers since you dislike them, power thrust and ki push aside.
  4. I would guess those powers are NEVER intended to be perma under any circumstances, just as was intended for Elude/Unstoppable/etc. so many years ago.
  5. Definitely false. Melee is still the way to go for a tremendously easy gaming experience, even if the gap has been closed a tad bit over time.
  6. I hate the thought of them designing the game in such a messy, clunky way like this. Am just totally against such inelegant design. This game doesn’t need to be like Garry’s Mod.
  7. I would absolutely consider buffing both the power and the set. But only in a sensible and measured way.
  8. Powers should be balanced as powers and as parts of sets, not just one or the other.
  9. The damage number on Ignite is balanced around it being so regularly escaped. You change the dynamic, you have to change the damage.
  10. Not a yes/no vote, just a curiosity.. you do know that you’re proposing a simple reversion to exactly what these procs used to do, right?
  11. I definitely take Adrenal Booster most often of the three.
  12. This makes the most sense of the last three suggestions IMO. Maybe not exactly as described but lingering damage makes sense. Greycat’s idea is nice but would be a lot of mob specific coding work, AND you could argue those imps should just be immune to the fire damage too, which nobody wants. Outrider’s wouldn’t be kind to the cottage rule. Also maybe a +mag immobilize proc would be nice so that you could root a boss in one shot.

  16. Well they’d cap HP eventually lol But yeah, this reminds me of ESO champion points which gave fractions of a percent in various buffs and capped at 810 pts last time I played.

  19. It’s a nice idea if it weren’t being proposed on a set that already has perhaps the best single target damage, certainly the best boss holding capabilities, and some of the best animation times on every other single target power. Now if you were to propose a similar gift to Shout...

  21. Can’t talk about slotting because I don’t have a /fire blaster, but yes RE: consume. The recovery powers in blaster secondaries are extremely powerful and make their endurance very easy to manage, freeing you up to not require things like Ageless Core or, in this case, Consume.
  22. I haven’t looked at the power propositions in depth but (1) totally agree we need more earth sets or epic pools. That element clearly gets the shaft. Also (2) can we avoid “affinity” in yet another powerset name and mix it up a hair?
