Sue is on Everlasting, and is one of my favorite folks there cause she's very positive and always value added to any team. At the height of ToT it was definitely a drag on recruiting, and it was especially noticeable in off hours. It's not as bad in our third week of it. Which was this last week, right after Sue posted. But taking 30 minutes to fill a group isn't unheard of on Everlasting, either. Sure it's the second largest sever, but a good chunk of the population are talking among themselves in SG bases and custom content as well. The opposite is also true. Just depends on when you're playing.

It does technically do damage, which feeds into Defiance (on a Blaster). I'm a bit of a World of Confusion stan, but I'll be the first to admit it's pretty badly kneecapped. If I had to ask for any change, the first would be to increase the radius to 10, because 8 is frankly way too close to apply either the low damage or weak confuse. You're at best affecting perhaps 2 or 3 mobs. Usually just the 1 you're cozied up to. As for whether or not it's worth the take, I'd say it depends. Do you want a damage aura? You're diving into melee to gain Drain Psyche stacks anyway, so you might as well. And when you are at max level, Contagious Confusion offers great set bonuses. Speaking of which, in those seemingly rare times that Contagious Confusion does proc? It's really noticeable and effective.

Unfortunately, no. Your only option is to roll a new character, change the name of your old character (maybe by just adding a punctuation mark), and then giving the new character the old name. It would be nice, though. Especially for characters you've invested a lot into. -

Spectral Terror without Dom Like eating a salad without dressing. Please let Dom copy over, even if it's just a +1 Mag bump on the two fear powers. This power is good, but the flaw is in painting a target on your face if playing with bosses (teams and advanced solo). You're already rolling bones on misses, why this too? Gleam Procing For @laudwic, in my opinion it recharges too slow to be an effective tool anymore. Better off slotting it for intended use (see below) and relying on your secondary set for damage. Especially since it can make use of an Epic set. Yay 10% Recharge. PA doesn't Taunt Not an issue so far. Mag 6 Stunlocking every spawn is pretty neat. Controllers can't do this, so the Taunt actually matters for them. Not as much for a Dom from what I've seen. Phantasm is like a Kleenex Soft, strong, and disposable. This kind of sucks since we can't buff it, but I'm thinking it'll have more utility in teams with taunters and buffers. However, it's definitely a let down for solo play, I'm constantly having to resummon a fresh one. At least it mules Call to Arms 4pc. Might be a skip depending on secondary sets. -

Those were not my words. Finding a way to complete missions faster and get rewards quicker is the opposite of not engaging. No issue with your opinions but do not distort mine to butress them. I've noticed folks wondering why PFF and Detention Field have been left untouched, just wanted to offer some thoughts on why that might be, and hopefully improve your play with FF as a set. PFF So off the bat, changing PFF in FF necessitates a conversation about changing it in Epic Pools as well. That might be outside the scope of what the Devs are trying to do here, and so leaving it as is saves bandwidth for them to tinker with just this kit. Besides, it's a vital tool for speeding and soloing certain missions. Understandable if you see this as a failsafe option, but besides using it to cruise to the objective, you can also use it to cleanly escort non-combat NPCs back out. Turn off movement powers, turn on PFF, and walk right to the exit with everything trying and failing to hurt you. Just don't lose your hostage. Detention Field This is among a small selection of powers that can really help during more challenging parts of the game. There are just times when phasing an NPC is better than killing it. Examples include (but aren't limited to): - Phasing Brickernauts during their countdown so they harmlessly kill themselves. - Phasing Tower(s) during MLTF so Lord Recluse doesn't roflstomp you tank; or during high performance runs to get top speed times. It's a very niche power that more likely than not won't be in your main build selection, but has high utility in specific builds used for certain tasks forces. And that's okay, right? We get 3 builds at 50, and we shouldn't want to feel like we need to take and use every power from a set in a general purpose environment. But PFF and Detention Field have their uses, and are used to great effect when they are needed. -

This isn't strictly related to Ill Doms, but this came to me as I was testing a build: Is there any way we could get Absolute Amazement's proc changed to a Mag 3 Immob for 10 seconds? Currently the -ToHit for 10 seconds on the proc is nearly almost always moot, because most dedicated stun powers last as long or longer than, precluding the enemy's ability to attack you. As great as Gleam is, the area is very wide and there's no AoE Immob in the Ill Dom toolkit. This would be a handy thing to have, even if it's just a chance to lock down minions and lieutenants. -

EM/Nin is pretty awesome. TF critting out of hide is not to be underestimated. ----- I can see why you went for BS/Rad. Should be pretty satisfying. Sad I didn't saw a claws/rad in there, though. That's a real blender. Does great with hover-melee. --- WM/EA is probably going to be the star.... if all you care about is lame things like doing the most damage, or being unkillable, or never running out of end, etc. -
Never used forums back in the golden age of online gaming. Didn't conceive of the utility. But I still use the same account name as I did back then. Ironically it's not this one. I started this as an alt account and it was almost immediately co-opted by my significant other. But because it aligns to my global in-game I kept it for the forums. I still get confused sometimes reviewing support tickets or copying characters to beta.

We seem to be getting lost in a discussion or dispute about how we play the game. If there is a method by which someone can manipulate the market single-handedly in a relatively short amount of time, then that should be addressed, because it affects every player who interacts with that system. -

The Stun Cone is what you want to set slot for bonus, since it actually does good damage. The fear cone gets an extra damage proc from Glimpse of the Abyss so it's a good candidate. The cone dimensions and recharge give it a fair proc rate as well. The Immob cone is terrible for damage procs, but better for triggering singular effects. I put ATO procs in there (build up, fonts). I didn't bother with the sleep on either my Controller or Dominator builds; power economy. Overall I felt the damage was good. Much better than I'm used to from Controllers, on par with what I expect from Dominators.
