Haven’t tested yet but just from a read: Superior Invisibility is the only toggle invisibility power that allows you to attack while it is active, although you will lose some of your defense bonus if you do so. as we don’t strictly speaking have any toggle invisibility powers, since the pool was changed, bar Sup Invis on doms/trolls, is it worth changing the info text on both?

FF revamp!!!! I don’t know why this excited but it does! [I’ve just woken up] Illusion looks fun. I might finally be time to make one. I don’t know why but moving the order we get powers makes me feel funny… it’s been part of the game for so long, holding on until 32, but I can roll with it. will hop to beta this weekend.

My PB has costumes for more “alien” stuff (Shadow Shard/ Rikti), a “homemade” costume for low level content, a Cim look for the ITF, a golden age superhero look for TFs, an x-force feel look for grey alignment, and a pure red-side look which is my “Honorary Warshade” (a la the Moonfire badge) for pure red content. It’s the little things which keep the toon alive.

I saw you earlier in Cap before doing a Virgil SF. Was in the non-flame mode. Love the toon! Glad you went for fire on the sent! How does it play?

I fiddled with your build slightly so I'm around there anyway and a veng gets me into the non-incarn soft-cap. Fiddled some more pros in there too. I'm running tri-form atm so can always whack out dwarf if needs be. I'm running with reactive interface. Although I also have Paralytic and a Diamagnetic if I notice other players have reactive and the debuff is stacked. Barrier, as I said, for those other buffs. The +2 we did was fun. Felt disheartened where I couldn't stand toe-to-toe quite as well, but had to remind myself the tank was dead too.

And for a PB? I’ve got 2 builds atm - one an expensive version of your soft cap PB one and the other one is above. Already have barrier!

I have played this game for years, I’ve done that SF countless times, and this is the first time anyones mentioned this. His story could do with an ending…

So, any thoughts on Hard Mode builds? I did a +2 ITF and enjoyed the protection from the new spawn things very helpful. I definitely died, but so did everyone so it makes me feel better.

Pandemic was definitely the mover for me. When restrictions calmed down here I didn’t wanna feel like I was ‘wasting’ the chance of being able to go out by being on. Wouldn’t be surprised if the same happened to others. I know others have spoken about not wanting to be on social media for various reasons, but even there are people on the CoH Facebook fan page that don’t even know the game is back. Every once in a while, when on the bus or something during my non-break times, I’ll search twitter for people talking about it in gaming circles or in a reply to polls. I’ll reply to a few, send em the HC link and tell em I’ll drop some inf if they need a start-up. Probably a 1 in 3 conversation rate I reckon. It isn’t much but it is something. No harm (other than to my bank balance). But I think with a concerted effort we could probably get the nums up in a few months.

I think you missed my point... I am very aware that people can be intolerant in 2022. I just think the idea that someone hasn't seen a more intolerant group of people than those who "want to nerf everything having to do with AE" is - plainly - stupid and that a little bit of perspective is needed. In whatever year. @arcane put it very well.

This is amazing to see. Do we know if the mission files every existed in live? Could they, hypothetically, be finished?

Piecemeal's arcs are a great fun an a bit of something different if you haven't seen them. One is blue - The Graveyard Shift - and one is red - The Freakish Lab of Dr. Vahzilok. There are also a couple of other new arcs the HC team added. The open map fighting the police is really fun. (sorry if you know about these!)

@Doomrider You'll know, cos youre rad at khels, but I take it the form in which you use a Judgement power makes no difference on the damage - correct? Because they do the same damage regardless of the AT using them?

I barely use them TBH (but I mostly exemp so I'm hoping it's partly that). I didn't have the slots to stop KB but I do wish they could go "Ok, so Toad is going to that person, Zip is going there, maybe I'll hit a different target" because atm it is just overkill having them explode all on the same one. My alt build, a fiddled and expensive version of one of Doomrider's cheap def focussed ones, I dropped them entirely. But I picked up Veng + Victory Rush so I probably net help the team more than having 3 exploding blobs.

Just ask them to message you when they’re back? Or ask them for the name? Or when they’ve said “save me a spot”, you can right click their name to get to global and then just check it Vs the new name. I don’t know if it is that complicated? I’ve also almost always had “mind if I grab an alt? It’s XYZ” and then they wait for a reply so maybe I’ve just not had the issue. i don’t think it’s telling per se, it’s just brevity because they want to get their alt and get going and not mess you around if you’re in a rush. I wouldn’t take it personally. It’s just the mode of how we talk online. I’ll give em 1-2 mins. That accounts for logging onto a toon, checking the badge, and the 30 second logout thing.
