  1. I have a Cold/Beam defender that has performed really well in 801 and relentless Aeon. Agree that Nature is also very good. Haven't played Electric.
  2. If I understand this correctly, you could take Tough without taking Boxing/Kick or take Aid Self without taking Aid Other/Injection. Seems like more power creep.
  3. The only proc that works in Trip Mine is Force Feedback chance for +recharge.

  5. I had never played a dominator on live but I had played a lot of controllers. The first one I tried on HC was Plant/Martial, which I liked a lot even if Martial has some issues. I've since taken Earth/Earth, Mind/Psi (for a themed team) and Dark/Dark to 50 (all +4 incarnate).

    There's no wonder it feels light on damage - you skipped Lift and Propel and didn't slot Crush or Gravity Distortion for damage. Gravity is one of the best control sets for ST damage. Slot Crush for damage, not immobilize Drop something for Lift. Lift has the highest DPA in the set. 5 slots on AM is unnecessary. It doesn't require accuracy and the set bonuses aren't that useful. Only 2 recharges in Hasten (ideally 50+5) 6 slots in Lingering Radiation is unnecessary. It doesn't do damage and the -speed doesn't really need to be enhanced. 2 recharge IOs is enough. Chance for +end in Mutation is doing nothing. Slot a recharge IO and call it a day. Not sure what the BotZ is doing in Wormhole. Slot a Sudden Acceleration KB>KD instead. Power Boost isn't doing much for you. I would consider a different epic. Slot the Gladiator's Armor and Steadfast Protection +def uniques I did a quick tweak on your build and this is what I came up with:

  10. I usually buy enhancement boosters (10 for 50 merits) and list for 1,099,999 each. That price will usually clear within an hour and I usually get more than asking.
  11. Don't skip Acid Mortar. It's the best power in Traps. Doesn't need more than 2 recharge IOs, although you can also slot the Defense Debuff set of your choice. Drop Time Bomb. It's trash. I would try to fit Spectral Terror and slot for -tohit. As stated, procs don't work in Seeker Drones. I slot 4x Cloud Senses. 2x recharge in Hasten. You're using a lot of slots to enhance defense in powers that don't grant much (Evasive Maneuvers, Hover, Superior Invisibility). I would move those slots elsewhere. World of Confusion is mag 2 and only effects minions. Would probably drop this. I wouldn't bother with Psi Tornado if you're only going to devote 2 slots to it.
  12. Go to the tailor. Change the color setting to Invisible Bright or Invisible Dark. You'll be completely invisible.
  13. I understand the use. I take the AoE sleep on Mind and Trick Arrow, but I don't feel it's needed on Plant. Even at +4, Seeds with permadom shuts down an entire room (other than AVs) and is up every 15-20 seconds.
  14. The AoE holds are fine, but with a base recharge of 4 minutes they're situational. Best case they're only up every 90 seconds or so. If the build is tight I'll skip it.
  15. Stealth (the power) gives you complete invisibility with defense (7-10% depending on AT), 3/4 of which suppresses when you click/attack something or are attacked.

  17. You're right, /Earth is very solid. I skipped Mud Pots on mine. Luckily, a lot of Plant is skippable. I would skip Entangle, Spore Burst, Spirit Tree and possible Vines.
  18. Highly recommend slotting Touch of Fear with procs. Here's my build for reference.
  19. It's not an AoE attack. The splash DoT is very weak (about 16 dmg total). The base damage and recharge as a ST attack is the same as Blaze and Bitter Ice Blast, so it's in line with other ST ranged T9s (Blaze has higher DoT, but it's ST). Certainly not as good as Power Burst or Thorn Barrage, but quite serviceable.
  20. You can slot a Celerity or Unbounded Leap stealth IO directly in Infiltration, providing complete invisibility to all but snipers, Rikti drones, etc.. No need for Infiltration to stack with Stealth.
  21. And you can slot a stealth IO directly in Infiltration, giving you effective invisibility and negating the need to take Stealth (unless you want the combat defense or -threat).
  22. This. SJ is my mostest favoritist travel power. I can't stand Super Speed. Fly is fine and I use it quite often. TP requires too many slots to be good.
  23. The player version of Siphon Speed is also unresistable, making it quite useful against AVs. I wouldn't want that changed.
  24. Don't skip Weaken. It's a huge -tohit, -dmg, -special. I would add at least 3 slots, although 6 slotting with Cloud Senses gets you good bonuses. Add slots to Envenom. It takes a bunch of procs, or 6 slot with Shield Breaker. You've got too many slots devoted to Stealth and Weave. Move slots from there to Weaken and Envenom. Stone Cages doesn't need more than 2-3 slots. I would move SWotC to Stalagmites. You'll give up some proc damage but add a lot of control. Switch the Decimation proc in Arcane Bolt to the Dmg/Rech. The proc is 1 PPM and almost never goes off. Slot Volcanic Gasses for hold, not damage. Best AoE hold in the game. Drop Infiltration and switch Spirit Ward for Mystic Flight (this will give you the power pick for Weaken). Drop Vigor for Musculature or Intuition Radial.
