My SG on Torch has a static leveling team one night per week. We go from lvl 1 to 50 with the same 8 toons, then start again with new toons. We generally run defeat most TFs at +2 or +3. Our weekly group is currently full, but something like this might work for you.

Frequently the only way for controllers to establish containment on AVs. AVs don't have native resistance to immobilize. Very handy in stopping AVs from running if you don't have a tank or brute. I believe they all also have -fly and are useful for bringing them down. The damage isn't great, but is often needed for controllers prior to getting pets and epics.

Spirit Ward since they turned it into a toggle. Dimension Shift is different from the other intangibility powers and shouldn't be on this list. You can enter the phased area and fight the phased foes.

I've been leveling on red side lately. The arcs are generally more interesting and much shorter (usually around 5 missions). Doc Buzzsaw and Mr. G are really good. Darrin Wade is interesting, and fills in some lore. If you're a rogue, Bobby Curtin and Sgt Schorr are good.

Disagree. You can't cap cold (or psi) resists, and you'd be hard pressed to cap fire or neg. While I'm sure you could soft cap S/L and melee defense, it's certainly not easy and not sure how you could without gimping your offense. It also has no DDR, so your defense can get stripped away easily. I do like Rad (my Rad/Rad scrapper is vet level 45 or so) but I don't rank it at the same level as Invul. I find Rad is more of a hybrid resist/regen set, but sturdier than Willpower.

I don't feel that way. My Rad feels decidedly squishier and much clickier than my Electric or my Dark.

Not saying it isn't. Just didn't think it was fair for me to rank something I hadn't played in 10 years.

In the Badges/Accolades window, the progress text listing the badges required for the High Pain Threshold accolade includes the Relentless badge. This should be corrected to the Unbroken Spirit badge.

9.975% resistance for 15 seconds, after using Sky Splitter w/ perfection level 3. You then have to use 3 other attacks to get back to level 3 before using Sky Splitter again. I haven't done the math to see if it's possible to keep up continually. Guarded Spin does stack, but it's 11.25% melee/lethal defense for 10s.

I've never played Bio so can't respond to that. I have an SR/Staff tank. Staff is significantly better on tanks due to the increased targets and AoE range. While the AoE damage is good, the set is lacking in mitigation and the ST damage is meh. Animations on Eye of the Storm and Sky Splitter are long and only worth using when you have 3 levels of perfection. It's a good set, but I think it needs some love. Also, on a Brute the +dmg from Form of the Body gets lost due to Fury.

Here's the start of a ranking of secondaries (not ranked within groups). I left out Bio and Stone (never played) as well as Ice, Fire and Shield (haven't played since live). Invulnerability Super Reflexes Energy Aura Dark Armor Electric Armor Radiation Armor Willpower Regeneration

Staff Fighting - I like Staff but think it belongs in the C tier. Stone Melee - I agree with ST heavy. Hits like a freight train and has tons of mitigation. The slow animations are really just Hurl Boulder and Tremor, and the latter was just shortened. Also, they just added damage to Fault for more AoE. I would put this in the B tier (possibly A). War Mace - Really just Whirling Mace and Shatter are slow. Really good AoE and tons of mitigation. I would put this in the B tier.

It's still not hard to get. Just tell the team it's a badge run and not to kill Neuron until you get the badge.

Which is how the AoE immobilize in every other control set (except Electric) works.

I don't know that anyone has every done it, but it does accept Reduce Interrupt Time enhancements

You're the one with 4 slots each in Resist Physical Damage, Resist Elements and Tough Hide and 6 slots in Resist Energies. I have 2 slots in each of those. RPD gets the two +def uniques, Tough Hide gets the two +res uniques and ResEl and ResEn each get 2 resist damage IOs. On the four 6-slotted powers above, I'm only using 3 more slots than you.

Call to Arms or Expedient Reinforcement. Both have 6.25% recharge bonuses for 4 pieces. Phantom Army won't benefit from the defense/resist aura uniques, but Phantasm will.

If you're going to take Fallout, you should also take Mutation. I find it rude when they blow up your dead body and don't rez you afterward.

My /Inv scrapper has 31.75% psi resist (see below) and 15.6% psi defense from Weave, Combat Jumping and the two +def uniques. Usually enough to get the job done. Don't forget the Elusive Mind accolade, which is 25% psi defense for 60 seconds every 10 minutes. 6-slot Aegis (9.5%) 6-slot Gift of the Ancients (4.5%) 6-slot Hetacomb (6.0%) 6-slot Unbreakable Guard (3.75%) Shield Wall unique (5.0%) Reactive Defenses unique (3.0%)

SR tanks are insanely good. Other than a handful of mobs with very high tohit buffs (Rularuu eyeballs, DE quartz eminators), Recluse with the towers up), they are unkillable.

I 6-slot it with Superior Avalanche. The knockdown proc goes off every time, plus it helps plug Rad Armor's weakness to cold damage. The damage is deceptive, since half of it is DoT.
