I especially liked her solo mission where she's basically like "UGHH, WHATEVER MOM" to the god of death. Though I guess I'm just turning this into "which villains you like" instead of "what type of personality you like".

Honestly, their backstories are not very interesting to me. There's just too many other factions out there that are way more interesting. I know they did so for German regulatory reasons, but they ended up pretty generic looking. I kinda wish they explored more of a supernatural angle instead of purely science/ayylmao thing. Werewolves just being failed nictuses is kinda dumb imo.

Sure, but because fascism is pretty generic as far as totalitarianism or authoritarianism goes. There's only so many ways to try and dominate others by force and humanity has been figuring them out for thousands of years. Of all the crimes of the Nazis and what have you, probably only the technology related ones weren't first committed by a random but brutal mesopotamian civilization in the dawn of civilization. But you know if the Babylonians had radios they'd be censoring them and playing Nebuchadnezzar propaganda 24/7. Or whatever it is under their timekeeping system. It was lunisolar so it has got to be pretty different.

I guess, but suppression of opposition is as old a humanity itself. Fascism certainly did not start it. I see fascism as a post enlightenment answer for people who, being in the modern era of nation-states, were really into their countries, but unlike the pre enlightenment, did not identify their allegiance to a line of monarchs. Their figurehead is instead a romanticization of their people and culture in general, and an "everyman" leader in specific (Fuhrer's and Duces), as opposed to a ruler by the will of God that the European monarchies were. Though interestingly, Italy had a monarch the entire time they had their fascist government as well. At least this is my hot take, lol.

Fascism predates Nazism, and afaik doesn't really obsess over racialism like the Nazis. Also, iirc the 5th Column, despite the German names, was also aligned with the Italian fascists in game lore. Nazism is a specific type of fascist, like the square and rectangle thing. There are a lot of empires that predates fascism, or even the concept of nationalism or nations.

Just do one in the front then so we can at least make sumo wrestler toons.

I completed the resistance arcs. They are also extremely well done. I am now playing through First Ward again. Kinda weird Noble Savage and Katie don't seem to remember me better. Katie does a little but then seems to make a cryptic reference to alternate timelines possibly?

Another way is to use the LFG tab. Go in there, find the ITF, click the lock teams toggle, and then it will tp you right to Imperious. It's really useful since Cimerora is seriously behind the times transportation wise.

Soup. First DB or SR character. Not 100% sure if I have the right build philosophy. I was going for recharge and softcapped defense (plus some extra for debuff padding, since defense is all SR seems to have, aside from the resist scaling. I have a natural concept going here (ignore the TP's, lol). My E/N resists ended up somewhat low. I don't know how much recharge is enough recharge as well. Defense may be overkill on melee and AoE. That would be funny, but I've had them burrow their way out of an overpass at me. I guess there could have been some mob hits and a Mafia owned construction company involved.

How about adding the normal locations to the echo portal? Dunno if that is easy but it seems like it might. I don't know if people use the echo locations a lot and would be annoyed by the menu clutter but I only ever go there for badges.

You know, I've noticed something weird too about them. I was playing as a /nin scrapper with the Celerity stealth io stacked with Shinobi Iri. The ambushes will go to your location but they can't see through the stealth. I thought ambushes in general were supposed to see through stealth? At least, that's how it worked blueside with my stalker. Anyway, was creepy with the Awakened following me around without attacking. The first time I found this out I had been tabbed out for some reason, then tabbed back in to find some Psychotics creepily in my face.

Can confirm. Katana/Nin scrapper is pretty fun, and definitely has a stalker feel. BU, combat TP, then instantly deleting someone with a crit from hide is pretty cool.

Brutes do have punchvoke, but it is single target instead of AoE like a tank. If we are examining things from this angle though, then why aren't actual tanks better?

Why's that? I think it is functionally more or less about the same between scrappers and brutes (no high level tanks yet so I dunno about that one), but I'd guess scrappers are ahead on teams since they don't need to be attacked to hold fury and do more damage to begin with anyway. The real question is between scrappers and stalkers on a team. The team increase to stalker crit chance and the lack of danger for a stalker probably helps a good deal. It has got to be pretty close anyway.

+1 in general and +2 for the stealth part specifically, lol.
