Both regular content. It is possible that my dark armor guy (+3/x8) had two or more singularities on him, but the scrapper (+2/x3) definitely got knocked down through Grounded while grounded. Standing still doing nothing, singularity gets summoned, I get knocked down. I'm not complaining, mind you, but I missed this in the patch notes.

I've been looking at it from the other side -- opponents that have summoned it (Family Bosses, Longbow bosses). I've been bounced around through two KB IOs on my Dark Armor tank and through Grounded (9.1 protection, standing still and not in the air) on my Elec Armor scrapper.

Or Repelly, whatever. I've been noticing this a lot since the new issue dropped, but maybe it's because I'm playing different characters. I didn't see anything in the patch notes, or maybe I missed it.

I have lots of characters, lots of 50s, but only one has gotten significant post-50 play (something like 70 vet levels). I'm assuming that you are looking for something that you can play well past 50, mainly in team settings. Some thoughts: 1. Choose a style that you enjoy. Melee/ranged/support/whatever. If you love blasting, don't make a tank, even if you think it's "better" in the long run. 2. Choose animations you enjoy. You are going to be seeing a LOT of them. There are a bunch of powers that I just refuse to take because I hate the way they look. 3. Here's where it gets opinionated. Play solo and regular XP to your 30s. It's so easy to get to 50 in a few hours that lots of people will bow right past this. But to me, it's important to know your sets. Which work great at level 10 and are useless at 30? Here's also where you figure out which animations you like or hate. I don't recommend doing something like Posi 1, for example, until you are in your 30s because you can level a few times in there and you'll miss some of that learning experience. 4. If it gets boring, move on. I have a bunch of alts in their 40s that I've just stopped playing because they don't currently interest me. Sooner or later, I'll probably take them to 50, but as long as I have more interesting things to do, I'm gonna do those things first.

Exactly. You can cause a lot more chaos by spending 1bn a day for 50 days than you can by setting 50bn of bids then walking away.

Currently, SGs are unranked, right? What value is there in having them ranked again, even if by your measures? Is it to decide which one to join? Or is it for bragging rights? If it's just a different way to rank your standing, I'd rather go back to the old prestige way. As you say, that's about how much inf you have and that is certainly my core competency. That said, I'm even happier now with no rankings of note whatsoever.

Sorry (not sorry) to resurrect this thread, but I've decided to reroll my Power Creep. I'm torn between making an overpowered FOTM character, or making a choice based on RP, or something else entirely. But it's got to be creepy. I'm open to suggestions!
