  2. That is the reason. That it happens is a shortcoming of the server design. The server detects the error but instead of handling it gracefully, the client ends up terminating and the server eventually cleans up. When the server detects that a character is entering a map that is shutting down, it should either put the character back where it was with an error popup in game. Or if possible, especially if it's a map like a SG base, restart the map and put the character in it when it's ready.

  4. I just wish when entering my SG base that the dreaded program termination with notification "Map is shutting down." would be fixed. Of course, knowing what I do about the deep dark dank depths of complex code, I also know that when such can happen, it can be very very hard to fix said issues.
  5. You can run both Fly and Mystic Flight together, but it's a waste of endurance. The reason the powers can now be run together is that you get the best of the simultaneous similar powers, not their sum. That stacking was fixed in Issue 27 Page 2, I think. I'll back this and others' support of Spirit Ward. It's a great place on many builds to slot the Preventive Medicine special IO. You should put that toon on all builds when possible, as it's saved more from defeat than any other single measure. On my AR/Dev Blaster, I also cast it on Gun Drone to make that tough pet even tougher. 🙂 Infiltration is a sore point for me too. *ALL* of its Defense suppresses in combat. And that Stealth now has doubled Defense outside of doesn't matter either, because 3/4 of its Defense now suppresses, leaving it no better in combat than it was before. Higher Defense outside of combat is almost completely useless. I just tested Mystic Flight, which has a Blessing of the Zephyr or a Winter's Gift special in it, so no speed enhancement. Mystic Flight + Jump Pack hits the Flying Speed cap. With Flight, perhaps you could alternate Afterburner and Jump Pack and with just 1 hit the Flying Speed cap for longer.

    I'm almost certain we don't. String Theory has never properly provided experimental tests of any of its parts, as well as has problems with many parts of its theory. It has developed some interesting mathematics, though. It's almost certain to be another Physics field that produces a properly working Quantum Gravity Theory that supports the reality of Time and can produce the simply connected Space that matches what is observed.

    I have it on good word from mathematicians I trust that only 3D and 4D spaces are interesting. 5D and higher dimensioned spaces are kind of boring, for example only have 3 regular solids, their equivalents of the tetrahedron, cube, and octahedron. My own math skills are approaching where I can just barely see they certainly correct.
  10. Consider how Mender Silo feels about the Midnighters creating their own Crystal of Ice and Flame to access Cimerora. He is not pleased. You wouldn't Mender Silo to feel that way about you, would you? If you install a time machine, or time portal, or something for bases that will allow you to access Cimerora or Echo Zones. Wouldn't want Mender Silo becoming someone's....Nemesis, would we? 🙂
  11. From what I've heard, I think the motivation here is at least partly due to this debuff bugging out and affecting Incarnates with a Alpha Slot power equiped. On top of that, perhaps the root cause for it bugging out can't be tracked down and thus the only workaround is to remove the debuff.

I'd just discovered on Homecoming that the Western-most part of the Southern Shadowed/Lighted Path in First/Night Ward was missing its phasing and sky change and was going to report it as a bug. Glad to see it was already found and now fixed. Screen captures from Brainstorm in the spoiler showing the fix is good. Alas, don't know where Dr. V's lost lab is located. But I did know from CB where the new EB's are located in the Abandoned Sewers Network, so I went down there on Brainstorm to check them out and defeat them. First went after Cortex and Grey Matter. I think there's a costume glitch with the Decaying Eidolons. As I was positioning to take some screenshots, somehow one or both of the EBs saw me (despite me later checking they had only EB-level perception of 54ft and with Devices Field Operative and a Celerity Stealth Proc in my running Prestige Power Surge, I had 65ft of stealth. One said something about detecting someone and they aggroed. Decided to just run away and come back, so I left the room they're in and the door closed behind me. When I went back in a few minutes, all the Vahzilok including the EBs had disappeared. Exited the room again and logged out. I think it took over an hour or two before I could come back and find them there. Here's the Decaying Eidolons wearing weird white top and boots straight out of some strange 1970's Disco Horror (and I like Disco 🙂 ). After defeating all the 8 EBs, I checked my progress on the Epidemiologist Badge below. Too bad there's not another Badge that tracks defeating Dubstitch & Raverobber and maybe other musically-themed major leaders. Say call it the "Music Critic" Badge. 🙂 I also used the P2W Power Analyser on all 8 EBs.   14. Agreed. As well, there are several Achievement Badges that more properly belong under Accomplishments (challenges, several of which already are under Accomplishments) or Defeats (for Safeguard and Mayhem Missions, some of which already are under Defeats). Details here

  24. The Rebirth boosts you want to go for are the T3 Rebirth Total Core Invocation and the T4 Rebirth Core Epiphany. They have the 60ft radius that allows hitting almost twice as many marching soldiers. The T3 Rebirth Partial Core Invocation I was used gives the same +MaxHP and Heal over 90s as the Total Core does over 60s, but the Partial Core only has a 30ft radius.
  25. I'd figured out it was a +MaxHP Rebirth I wanted, so I crafted a Rebirth Partial Core Invocation. EDIT: I should have gone with a Rebirth Total Core T3, as it has the 60ft radius and can cover more allies to heal. The Partial Core only has a 30ft radius. And thanks for pointing out that large group of soldiers in Mercy and the other points. Got over 1,000 HP healing in just one cast. Better positioning is gettnig around 9,000/cast now. On an AE Task Force with my alternate account Spines/Fire Brute, so I'm grinding the Mentoring Badges at the same time. 🙂
