Build question on the PB: Normally on armor sets I completely skip the heavy crash T9s and since we can just buy mez protection, is there any reason to bother going the perma-lightform route?

Hrrmmm... ok, maybe not nuke the PB. She's already vet lvl 2 and my 2nd acct is sitting on 4 transcendent merits that she could use.

It will increase build diversity by allowing us to swap out of lesser desired primary/secondary powers for the lesser taken pool powers we'd otherwise be inclined to take such as provoke or aid other.

If you valued variety you'd support the request.

Post to track a journey assisted by ample cheating. Recreated my chaos mage human only warshade. Purchased 16 hours so far of all 3 amplifiers and double xp. Set diff to +0/x2 w/ bosses. That was on Wed night. This morning she dinged 24 right at the end of Shadowstar's third arc and she'll give me another at 25. I've run nothing but her arcs solo. Bumped diff to +1/x2 w/ bosses and will run radios solo until 25. I suspect diff will continue getting pushed up regularly from here out and probably should have started doing so earlier. Stygian Circle, as it always has been, is still a linchpin power. Nothin like an insta-fill on health and endurance after every spawn. I've even been running Orbiting Death since very early on, mostly because it just plain looks awesome but also because more damage is always better. I still fail to see why Kheldians don't get mez protection especially with the addition of Sentinels into the mix. They have armor shields and spend a lot of time in melee where Sents are fully ranged AND get standard armor set mez protection. While I'm not even remotely a fan of the cheat codes we can buy from the P2W vendor, I'm certainly going to keep the defense amp loaded for as long as its in the game until the mez situation is fixed. No need to refresh the other two and probably didn't need them in the first place. All in all, I'm enjoying her again and I'm honestly not sure how much of it boils down to me just enjoying watching her because she looks cool as hell while fighting. Plan to do the same with my Peacebringer. Strip her, nuke her, rebuild her on my primary account and run her solo from 1 to 50 with defense amp loaded or at least until she has perma-light form and doesn't need it. Same ride, though, run the PB contact's arcs and radios solo. Kinda nice playing like I used to before hopping on the farmpling train.

ALL of my characters take Tough/Weave/CJ/Hasten. Most take fly so that I can use hover/afterburner as LotG mules and fly is my preferred mode of travel. Those that take leadership either drop CJ or end up finding other places for LotGs and go superjump. Yea, I miss out on a lot of interesting concepts because of this rigidity. Especially when there's plenty of primary/secondary powers I'd be happy to be rid of in the place of more power pool choices.

I don't like leading because it distracts from my meditative killin. But I will lead ITFs and MLTFs when I don't feel like soloing and I don't see anyone else cranking one up.

Restarted my chaos mage HO warshade for 10th time (or more, no clue,) Loaded her up with amps and double xp, she's run nothing but Shadowstar's arcs and is lvl 20 again. Maybe this time I'll get her right. I do find that for all the downsides, warshades are still a blast to watch in action.

Yea.... past +5 the purple patch gets insane. I attempted to solo the 10 times the victor badge with my uber-awesome tank and realized that Mary at +3 was going to obliterate me with end suckage and tohit debuffs from hurricane. I *might* be able to pull off +3 but +4 or higher, she would beat me down like I was nothing.

I would definitely have to argue that burning 9 power picks to get there would be a sufficient cost.

Sorry I missed this thread when I asked for the same: I'm on board. Open it all up. While I can agree adding more power creep is bad, compared to all the other atrocities, this one just ain't doin much.

Hi. SG-mates requested I make a post on this and to all those that work on Mids, I'm so sorry. Why only four regular power power pools? Why does taking Sorcery lock you out of Experimentation and Force of Will? Why can't Kheldians have APP/PPP and why can't Arachnos that go hero-side and get APP? Let's toss these rules out the window. We'd still have the same number of power picks and slots and we'd keep the rules where you have to have two of a pool to get the later powers. Once upon a time, the devs locked Kheldians out of movement pools that they already had inherently and then fixed that oversight, as they should have, and I was grateful because my PB finally had Air Superiority. Let's take that to the next level so that we can make truly horrific and inefficient monstrosities!

Archetype. Edit: would probably be a drag attempting to balance with the way debuffs function against high level enemies, though.

Assault/Debuff is one I would love to see, specifically where the debuffs are pbaoe and act as armor.

Pretty sure the only difference between dev and armchair dev is salary. And the only difference between armchair dev and unpaid dev is.... nothing. Course, that fact makes me question certain forum moderator decisions, but whatever... I'm not volunteering to moderate the forums, am I?

Very high on my list of movies. Up there with Blues Brothers and Kung Fu Hustle. Edit: And Airplane. One of the greatest comedies of all time.

Cuz clutter. I try to keep my total number of alts around 50. Makes it very easy to crank up new ones when the base bins are always full of goodies. Sometimes an idea keeps a character around when performance-wise it makes no sense to do so. Sometimes a combo works so damn well it stays around for pure, mindless carnage. Then there's my main, so good I've got three of him just on Excel.

I'm not old, I'm just drawn this way.
