  1. Gonna be honest... I slapped together a rad/fa brute for farming and hate it. She's due for the deletion pile. Rad's animations are just too long and clunky to deal with for me.
  2. I want the SR change on Sentinels ported to all SR sets. Farkabuncha click mez protection.
  3. I'm still old school. On a 32" Curved 144Hz 1080 single screen. Got dualscreen for the workstation, though. Don't think I'll jump to a 4k monitor until video cards can actually push 60+ refresh properly on them.
  4. Much nicer. But I don't think I could game on 3 monitors like that. Think the black bars breaking up the screens would be way to distracting for me.
  5. It amuses me to no end that there's some variant of "AT X is now irrelevant" thread for every AT. There's also "I can solo at max diff with my X" threads. We're all irrelevant and we're all awesome. What's the frelling problem?
  6. No. FocAcc would be nothing but a waste of end after everything you already have going. Edit: If you team a lot, you might consider Gaussian's Chance for Build Up in tactics. Nice occasional bump.
  7. Sudden Acceleration: KB to KD does not appear to be unique as per Mids. Course, this doesn't mean everyone is going to or should slot them in all KB attacks... but the choice is there.
  8. I have one tank that gets playtime. SR/FM. Doesn't get hit, AoEs and Evasion's taunt aura + actual taunting allows me to tank very well for teams (regardless of some naysayers incorrect beliefs) and once I got some damage love from incarnate buffs became tolerable when hitting DA at +4/x8 while solo.

  10. I find that I must respectfully disagree. My current build is pushing ~186% global recharge and it allows for very tight attack chains on a scrapper. Brute a bit less because the base recharge on spin and shockwave are higher. ST chain is Followup, Focus, Slash, repeat which means a triplestack of Fu on Focus. For tight crowds, the chain becomes Fu, Focus, Spin. With a CFKD in Spin, mitigation in the middle of a pack goes up. For really large groups, or being at the edge of a group so Sw can come into play with its KB turned into KD, it's Fu, Spin, Sw, repeat. AoE output at that point is pretty freaking huge. There's a reason that claws is hanging with the other big boys in the farming thread. This said... I have been tempted to totally rework the build into a proc monster just to see what, if anything, might change. I really should spend some time on the test server.

  12. I've been meaning to ask someone about this whole procmonster business. It seems that the proc build mindset is as follows and please correct me where I'm wrong. Get max global recharge. Don't slot recharge in attacks. Use 3 or 4 procs per attack and use the other two slots for acc/dam. Or even as you point out here, 5 procs and a single acc/dam. Then I guess ageless as the only possible option for Destiny cuz you're damn well gonna need all that end since you're not slotting end-red in your attacks. And that with this philosophy, the old mindset of max recharge for tight attack chains (read: claws with fu, focus, slash, repeat) needs to go the way of the dodo because procmonstering is the only way to fly if you want max damage? Edit: Also, very cool find on infrigidate.

  15. This. The set sucks now. There's no way around it. It was broken when they tried to fix it. Until the animation times (see Dominator Total Focus) are put in place across the board, same for ET, the set isn't worth migrating.

  17. I'll second Shred Monkey. We do what we do because it's how the game works for some of us. Some folks just like being on a team of 8 and wouldn't know or care about the math behind the defense soft cap. Some folks aren't happy until the feel they've reached the right balance in their builds. Some people just want to watch the world burn. You're not alone.
  18. Can all doors in the game, trams, huge doors in Cime, boat doors, etc, be fixed so that they are clickable regardless of whether they are open or closed? Cave doors function open or closed... why can't the rest?

I'm not sure if it's the best approach but I stuck the passive as the only enhancement in Swipe which isn't even in my tray and the 50% in followup since that's always the first attack in my chain. ST: Followup, Focus, Slash, repeat AoE: Followup, Spin, Shockwave, repeat Adjust as necessary for spawn position. If everything's tight around me, I do Followup, Focus, Spin, repeat. I'd rather the extra crits occur when I'm using Focus, Spin and Shockwave rather than having those powers initiate extra crits.   21. Might wanna check this thread: Rad/Fire is top of the pile last I checked. Edit: I'm farmpling at rad/fa brute to 50 right now as a replace for my spines/fire brute. Cuz I hate spines.
  22. What's amusing is that the variable moon is more "realistic" than the static one.
  23. Bah! Also, more info might be useful. The two moons are apparent at the horizon. This shot was from Peregrine Island. As the moons rise, one of them becomes smaller until hidden by the moon in front.
  24. Due to the Scrapper AT IOs buffing crit chances... this is honestly the correct answer.
