I think that when it comes to new players, especially those form other MMO's they have gotten used to the Holy Trinity and assume that Emp is the "h3alz0r" set. They haven't had the time to unlearn habits from other games that are bad habits in this game.

I have queued some for transferring of various levels and login dates and some have showed up but they don't appear to be flagged.

Regarding #2, if the tank runs out of support range then they better be able to tank whatever they spank. This goes for glass cannons that also run off solo away from the team, if you're in range I'll pick your ascot up, otherwise you better have a pocket full of skittles.

I had the same issue, changing my VPN connection solved it. There's a discussion ongoing in Discord General chat about this as well.

Harkening to a recently closed, short-lived thread with shades of UniqueDragon, I looked on Ex and found that 'Smoking Toad' is available.

I still have my character sheets somewhere in storage, had one character that had Body Adaptation and Gravity Control (10 block radius) would shrink the radius to personal and CS her Body Adaptation to Shift X, she was so much fun.

I think they hit 'Random' during character creation and that's why they play first person. 😆

New World has great graphics, can't recall about tabbed targeting though.

I had a good laugh at that. 😆 SWToR was released before CoH was closed down. WoW came out the same year CoH did. Regarding your question, none of us can talk for the COH community only our own personal pixels of it. I use Discord to talk to the friends I play CoH and other MMO's with, I don't join and chat in PuG servers for trials/raids/etc. The CoH:HC Discord channel has chat channels should people feel the need to use them for coordination, but I've always found that well organized trials and Mother Ship runs using basic commands in in-game chat to be effective enough. Edit: Your first post wasn't exactly clear regarding vc. Since Discord started out as vc for MMO players especially for game that had no vc, like me I'm sure that others figured that's what you were referring to. I see messages in the CoH:HC Discord server quite often, I actually have some of the servers muted because I do not play on them. So players do use it. 🙂

Same here. I consider it more of a shepherded mode, most of the time the game is just grazing, with bouts of shearing and something useful being made of the wool.

I've felt the same way playing red-side. I have one character that is the exception, it tags along with other villains as a pathogen so the stories never relate directly to it. I don't bring it out very often due to the current pandemic, even though it's been around long before it started but I'd hate to see it nuked because someone thought it crass.

Story-wise it wouldn't make much sense to me for Spiders to start Gold-side. Same as back in Legacy, I wish Gold-side had been expanded to 50 with it's own EATs.

1-49 "End-game" content never held much fascination for me.

I forget that I have them, that's how often I use them.
