Shot the Rikti Comm Officer? Nye! Those are my favourite pets on my Illusion Controller, confuse the Comm Officer, summons confused portal which proceed to spawn your own personal army of confused Rikti. Hilarity ensues.

As I have said in previous threads with similar requests, I am opposed to this solely for the reason that I do not believe that an all-volunteer team of devs should be splitting their time maintaining multiple iterations of server code of the game.

Give bodies of water the First Ward/Night Ward treatment. Add details and or depth to it instead of a nondescript blue nothing. Add some details to rooftops, especially in Praetoria. They granted all this rooftop access, yet they are for the most part barren. They need some parks or coffee shop seating up there. I pitched this back during Legacy and I'll pitch it again here. Have at least one restaurant location in each zone that is a real location and can be entered by players with AE building style windows where you can actually look out of onto the city. This would provide desirable RP location other than Pocket D.

I may shelve them for a while, but I rarely give up on characters. Back on Legacy I created characters strictly for systhspawn's Colour Palette Costume Contest on the forums, some of them I enjoyed so much that I kept and continues to play them. Like my bubbler, Rainbow Sherbet. Granted, I could only play her for short stretches of time due to the technicolour rainbow of her bubbles. Or Luv Muffin, a Brute on huge frame, kilt and baron coat all on white/red/pink with the goofy smile face, though I usually only brought him out around Valentine's Day. Most of my current characters are remakes of Legacy characters and across all servers I only have about 40. So I've not really built up a stable of characters that require me to pare them down.

@Solarverse also has a thread with a lot of custom sfx they've created and compiled threads by other sfx mod'rs as well.

You have to be particularly mindful of the length of the audio, depending on the sfx being replaced, the audio is usually between 2-5 seconds long.

It shouldn't be too different, you just have to locate the proper directory on your Mac. It's been a couple of years since I've had access to a Mac so my memory of how you go about doing that is lost, though it should be in the same general location as the Map packs if you have those installed.

If I could radically overhaul one thing... It would be the game engine.

One of my biggest pet peeves within the game. Having a Praetorian contact give you the cold shoulder as soon as you outlevel them, even though you are currently progressing within their arc. -.- Primal Earth contacts will at least let you finish. (ノ°Д°）ノ︵ ┻━┻

It's nice that you no longer have to actually leave at L20, but take your Praetorian over to First and Night Wards for higher level content. I just wish that the story progression for your Loyalist/Resistance arc continued. I'm taking my ex-Destroyer through the Loyalists extremist... er Powers arc for the first time since GR beta. As long as I stay away from 2XP boosts I have found that I don't have to turn off XP nearly as often, but the story dries up rather quickly in Neutropolis.

Considering that bases are now free, why not create one flagged for base raiding? Choose for it to be enabled at creating and pathing and item placement has to follow the stricter requirements. As for open-world PvP, my initial reaction is 'No' because PvP is my least favourite form of gameplay in any game. But if it's character-based opt-in then I don't see it as a huge issue (nightmarish coding not withstanding). I'm not so opposed to PvP that I don't want to even see a hint of it while I'm out heroing/villainizing, Actually, I think it would make the game more dynamic and immersive with opponents battling it out in the streets.

People that marinate themselves in cologne/perfume/highly scented soaps/lotions/etc. If I can light a match 20 behind you and you ignite, then you're wearing to much. Granted, that would solve my problem.

Lack of punctuation. No capital letters. Anywhere. Pancaking can't. And it's pancaking "because" not "cause".

Back in Legacy, one of my in-game friends that I played with often and emailed on occasion since shutdown was 57 back then.

Not so sure about that. When you have a min height character and use a sit emote, they practically disappear from the camera view.

Indeed. Watching a minimum height character use the 'walk' emote is... interesting.

I miss my Starbucks Reserve shop, used to stop in every morning with my co-workers. Good thing I stopped in early while they were hanging their 1st Anniversary decorations. I showed one of the folks working there this pic on my phone... "What about this looks off to you?" 🤣
