  1. You must have missed it: Psionic Dart wubba wubba wubba Powers psionic4 ๐Ÿ™‚ Well, the list does preced Elec Affinity by about 8 years. ๐Ÿ™‚ It will take quite a bit of digging for the sfx for the new powerset.
  2. There are several sounds stitched together to make up the Dual Blades sfx: Description: Nimble Slash Folder name: Weapons File name: Swordhit2, swordstab5 Description: Power Slice Folder name: Weapons File name: swordstab3, SwordSlicer, Swordhit2
  3. I am opposed to a dedicated PvP server. This would require a thin, all-volunteer staff to maintain two separate code-bases. As for venturing into PvP zones for badges, venture in at your own peril. This was an annoyance for me back on Legacy but here on Homecoming I have found the PvP zones to be vacant. If you are on the Unofficial PvP server might I suggest transferring to one of the other servers to grab your badges, then returning to your preferred server. Seeing as how transfers are free and all. Worried about losing your name? Create a placeholder character during your detour, then delete when you want to transfer back.
  4. Seems like we have similar... pet peeves... <.< I have replaced, quieted, or completely silenced every one you've mentioned. Bots MM squeak like rubber duckies when they walk instead of stomping around Demon Lts giggle like infants instead of the incessant rawring Wolf's/Beasts I decreased their volume by about 75%, the barking I silenced. I've also silenced toggle auras like Spines that players leave running.

  6. People arguing about what is or is not considered "playing the game". Just kidding, I couldn't care less. Put me firmly in the column with the others that have listed "Healers" as their biggest pet-peeve. After reading the thread, a close second pet-peeve is people complaining about other players soloing content or role playing in an MMORPG. I solo quite a bit of content in multi-player games because I like to experience the content at my own speed. Back when I had subs to these games my general response was "You can tell me how to play, when you start paying my sub."
  7. I'm not sure where the "spending money" came from. I wasn't advocating that people try using a VPN to solve their connectivity issues, just that those of us that already use VPNs should look at their points of connection as a possible slow down. VPNs have gotten better over the years, where in the past they almost always used to slow down your connections, now a days I rarely see an impact. ๐Ÿ™‚
  8. There's also a matter of VPN. Whenever I experience an lag/hiccups/rubberbanding/buffering etc. I head over to Speedof.me and check my connection, then reconnect to another of my VPN's servers if it's slow. Sometimes the one it auto-connects to is not always the best choice.

  13. Might I recommend this instead... https://konagoldhawaii.com/products/signature-rum-cake Keep away from open flame. ๐Ÿ˜ต
  14. One of the Mods likely added it after your numerous, educational, economics posts in the 2XP exploit fix threads. ==== Regarding the subject at hand. I find some caves challenging/annoying, but I would rather run through them tripled in size then go into the equivalent Arachnos multi-layers, multi-ramped, Empire State Building tall pancaking map. Also, I like the cave maps because they remind me of Morrowind. Especially that one map the has the often-missed switchback all the way in the back. I think more of them should have over- and under-lapping tunnels that screw with the reveal views. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ
  15. As long as we can also get these...
  16. I'd rather the Registration locations not be factionalized, since someone may just start up an SG that are apartments in one of the nearby buildings. Perhaps add an office to the Tram building in Nova Praetoria.
  17. I'm sorry to hear that your daughter had such a bad experience. It used to be that these types were much more rare and that the community would rally around them rather than a bunch of posterior head-adornments ganging up on another player. I'd happily join her on any of my characters or roll up a fresh one, on Torch or any other server. I'm pretty sure that others would be more than willing to do the same. Though I can understand if she never wanted to return to the game. It would be our loss. If you have chat-logging I would highly recommend reporting every single player that bullied your daughter.
  18. Iknowright!? Regarding the subject at hand. PvP is my least favourite part of any game. I found venturing into PvP zones on Legacy to be only slightly annoying, but I kept on the move and rarely had issues. I recall only one instance of some posterior head-adornment camping the hospital. I used Base Teleport to exit from within the hospital and re-entered the zone and dropped my Phantom Army on the camper on the way to my objective. When you enter a PvP zone you are a legitimate target. Don't want to get AS'd by some lone stalker? Bring friends, I'm sure there's a Badging channel on Indom and I'm pretty sure any number of them have run into the same issue and would help out.
  19. Tanks. I'm used to playing Controllers/Corruptors/Defenders dishing out buffs to my teammates and debuffet on the enemies. And it's not melee in general, I've had Dual Blade and Pistol characters and well as Stalkers that I've enjoyed. Tanks just don't suit my chosen form of playstyle.
  20. I wasn't trying to correct you, I was just using the term I am used to hearing and that I agreed with your tip of strategic use of it. ๐Ÿ™‚
  21. Personally, I just create characters with the powersets that fit my concept. I couldn't care less what others opinions are of any given powerset, they are not playing my character.
  22. I have to agree with @Techwright regarding 'clipping'. Use it to your advantage. This seems most doable with head items because of the degree in which you can adjust sliders. I just threw these together to show the differences adjusting sliders can make, if it were for one of my own character I could spend a great deal of time just on the facial sliders alone. <.< These are just something a quickly threw together and used the random button on facial sliders. Hats and helmets work well with judicious clipping, Hoods too to a lesser degree. One thing I will recommend is always rotate your view to check your adjustments from profile or the back as well since the look from those angles may not be appealing.
