I wonder if they can be added to the Notoriety options. I never really cared about them being in missions and none of my friends ever harped about any any Khelds being on the team, beyond the obligatory "Khooties" comment that is. 🙂

There are players with characters who never defect/migrate/scurry off to Primal Earth. With First and Night Wards, Praetorians have access to content up to 35. Someone wants to house their own Resistance cell, someone else wants to build apartment housing for their Praetorians.

Striga. Out of all the zones, is my favourite. Wide variety of mobs and I like Mrs. Peebles. Besides... giant robot in a volcano! How can you beat that!?

You know... reading this thread and seeing comments to the order of "I come here to escape real world bullshit." I can't help but think about what the BLM is calling out. That there is an entire group of people that can't escape. That people are looked at first as suspicious just because of the colour of their skin, doesn't matter if they are a student, a mom, a delivery person, a firefighter, a police chief, or a member of Congress. Because they are black. I for one have never given a second thought to leaving the house to go shopping or to go to work, never had to worry about getting pulled over for an illegal turn, never had to worry about going out for a walk in any neighborhood much less my own, if I was going to make it home alive. Because I'm white. I try to put myself in other people's shoes, but in this case it is difficult when I don't experience to world and treatment others do simply because of the colour of their skin. The HC devs made a statement as to where they stand and a player came here and expressed their support. I support BLM right along with them.

The issues at large may be more generational, but the CoH community in general has usually been more progressive than other games. You'll find pockets here and there, like your ex-SG mates but I think your typical CoH players has a more flexible mindset.

I've noticed that some posters (not necessarily in this thread) engage with blatant terminology designed to get a rise out of others, some use passive/aggressive terminology to get a rise out of others. For the most part though what I see is people reading context into a simple sentence, which depending on the words used should convey neutral emotions. Often times what kicks off a spat is someone reading a comment viewed through their own emotions rather than in a neutral voice. Folks need to practice the neutral voice more often to avoid taking offense where no offense was given. Regarding the topic at hand, I wouldn't mind seeing PDP updated. It's nice having meeting place options. I would also consider this a low priority though.

I'd recommend resetting to default graphics and then bump up one setting at a time while checking temp. The game may look 12 years old, but it may also take the strain off some components during the current heat wave.

Remember that the Homecoming team has updated it to some degree, especially the aforementioned 64-Bit mode. Prior to that, Legacy CoH blew up 2 laptops on me (the original and its replacement), the keyboards would get so hot that I could barely keep my hands on it, granted much of that was poor design on the laptop's part. My current laptop (GTX-1070) has no issues at all running it and neither does my desktop.

I remember the pre-DFB days of low-level sewer runs and just following teams of lowbies on my L50 Kin or Emp applying buffs/heals.

I play a lot of buff/debuffet characters and I will reapply buffs whenever possible, if it's an AoE I will pop it off when the most people are gathered, generally when we enter missions of in the middle of combat. The one habit I did have to break myself of is trying to heal everyone regardless of where they were. Sorry, but if you run off on your glass-hammer and get in over your head I will not go harrying off away from the main group (or tank) to save your bacon at the risk of my own character's health. I don't assume that anyone is soft-capped because then I don't have to consciously think about when or who to buff. Kind of like using a turn signal, if you always use it then you don't have to think about it, you just do it.

You can now get to the Matrix room via the elevators inside the Arena, rather then using the teleport hack. Not going to resurrect the old thread, but a lot of fun posts there too,..

As a separate server? I'd have to vote No. That would require an all-volunteer staff to split their time between 2 different branches of server code. If there was a way that they could create an option to disable bonus XP% like Legacy 2XP weekends and temp boosts, sure, Things that players can do to control their own experiences within the game I'm all for. Usually... 😄

Personally I have only ever seen it in Founders' Falls. The mission door is in FF, and Kronos Titan will usually spawn there. The way to alter its spawn location is for the mission owner (though I suggest the whole team does it to be on the safe side) to use Ouro or Base TP from within the mission that spawns Kronos, then exit into whatever zone you want to spawn it in. Excluding Atlas and Mercy, won't spawn there. Used to be a video on Youtube of a Legacy player that spawned it in Steel, then dragged it to the burning building to see if the explosion would kill it.

Unless of course, your goal it to make it to the top, stepping on the bodies of anyone else that gets in your way. Because you want... you need to be... Top Dog. I've got a character that's currently running the Powers storyline only, no swapping. I recommend running with no XP buff when wanting to complete any of the storylines as you will easily outlevel them and unlike Primal Earth, the contacts in Praetoria won't give you the time of day, even if you've already started working with them.
