  1. Ran into Supper’s Ready. We ran a couple mishes. Alfante is L26 now. Would like to hit 30 this weekend but not likely. We’re traveling .
  2. Well, they ARE "Sky" Raiders...
  3. Not a quote, but: Oh, good lord, no...hasn't the man suffered enough?
  4. Welcome back. And remember: when it comes to advice, don’t listen to nobody (but listen to everybody):-
  5. In honor of reaching level 20, Alfante pays homage to those who keep him gainfully employed: So gauche. Let's slap some burnt orange on that puppy...
  6. I have Alfante up to L17 (if I remember right). He's been LOTS of fun so far. One issue was what to do with other pools. I thought about Sorcery, since I really like Rune of Protection, but, considering I wrote him as a former circus acrobat, Leaping made more sense. Gonna stay thematic, and not take SJ, which means I'll need lame jump kick to get acrobatics and spring attack. Fun so far!
  7. 95-12-61 Tanker-Dark-Rad thats actually good 61-25-74 Mastermind-Demon-Storm workable, but I hate pets 96-86-42 Tanker-Super Reflexes-Katana wow...never seen that. That might be it. I was just running a scrapper with Broadsword last night. Maybe I’ll just steal his strange costume and run him as this tank. Some time later... Well, here it is: Abuelo's rusty old sword called to me from among his forgotten belongings. When I answered, it unleashed the espíritus divinos inside, just as it did for him. I knew what I had to do. My life as a circus acrobat is over. I am now what my grandfather was, in those bright, golden days of long ago. I am Alfante - Blade of Justice! I had to explain that funky costume somehow.:-) Spring Break, so I should be able to run him up. Are there rules for this somewhere? Al is L7 now. I changed his name from Alfanje (or 'cutlass') to Alfante, only because it sounds better. D
  8. And then this guy would show up out of nowhere. I REALLY like Astro City...:-)
  9. Hey, gang. I’ll be doing some AE scripting on Excel Friday a.m., but if anyone comes on, feel free to PM me. Been running Tracklash solo on occasion. He’s getting up there, which means I might be looking to get a new concept going. Maybe finally run something Sonic. ..or I might do yet another face punching vigilante type.:-)
  10. I suppose it’s Juan Jimenez, “The Devil of King’s Row.” KR Devil is an AR/TA/Munitions Blaster whom I use to test my AE arcs (when he’s not noodling around on teams red and blue). His secret ID is based on an actual KR contact, and I’ve featured him as an NPC in the finale of my AE series featuring Cage Consortium. Why this guy? I guess because of the options. He has all the nice arrow effects (glue, flash, EMP stun, ice lockdown) plus soft control with his AR damage, since all his KBs are proc’ed to KD. He does a bit of everything, is pretty quick on his feet (thanks, movement stacking), and I can pretty much play him in my sleep. I consider The Row my home zone. It has the gritty feel of the type of environs I enjoy in the comic world. Juan is my homage to that type, feel, and presentation. Running with the Devil always feels like home.:-)
  11. Hmmm...let’s see...At their core, Vamps must drain victims to gain energy, so... Ah ha! Roll up an MA scrapper, jump onto teams, scrapperlock them to death, then feed off their tears and angst! Mission accomplished! ...what, this isn’t real life?
  12. Ehhh...okay, I can accept that. Not sure still what that was, anyway. We did have a GM show up, and things aren't always what they seen. Mighta just been one of those things. Well...let's hope... Post deleted.
  13. There was some sort of fight going on earlier, so I had assumed it was a GM and she just got pulled. Couldn't spot a GM, though. Just glimpsed a purple VG something in the middle of it. I went into a DFB with a team while that was happening. Then, we come out, fight's over, and...well, you read the traffic, and I just can't tell what's going on. Maybe they were trying to get her out? Dunno. I hope it was accidental.
  14. Deleted. Might've just been a misunderstanding.
  15. Only recognized AE mishes (gold seal) run at full XP for anything. Since you’re asking about that, I assume you’re wanting to make a farm?
  16. And who remembers the Vamp-cow? Hm? And who owned that particular HtD story (onlybecauseitappearedinagiant-sizedMan ThingorsomethingItotallydidn'tbuyit)?:-)
  17. Hard to recall now. What I remember was Tony Stark’s alcoholism, a big Avengers-Sentinels run, death of Gwen Stacy, the Man-Thing (Gerber’s 23-issue run). And then you had all the occult titles. Morbius, the living Vampire. Son of Satan. Werewolf by Night (as opposed to Early Morning Bad Breath Werewolf?). Marvel loved trends, and since we’d had Rosemary’s Baby, Exorcist, The Omen, etc. boy did we get a hefty dose of the Devil.
  18. There were clunkers, but we did start to see comics start to grow up a bit, at least in Marvel. Maybe it was a bad era for DC? Anyway, as far as craptastic decades in comics, I have to go with the 90s, aka “edgelords, edgelords everywhere, and narry a story to be found.” Okay, I exaggerate — but not much. Ended up with a big parcel of 100 comics as a random Christmas gift (which included an extended run of Byrne’s Next Men, and a lot of random stuff). After trudging through a couple dozen dark, brooding, randomly violent, “we just found out sex exists!l issue, I was just, “Good God-can we get over ourselves already? Of course this was like some random lot. Maybe I got all the bad ones ... How about the 80s=“Let’s put out 300 versions of the X-Men and Spidey!” (Barf) Or was that the 90s, too? It’s hard to get past the bristling weapons, fantastic cosmic chests, and itty bitty feet. Yeah, I think I am going with the 90s, just for that.:-)
  19. Ah. Well I guess that makes sense. Thanks.
  20. So let’s see if I got this straight: all these characters (suppressed) running around aren’t Godlike enough that we need them now to be not only unkillable but also untargetable?
  21. If they're set as patrols, they will wander the map (between their patrol points, I assume [which players cannot set]. Otherwise, spawns remain stationary. This makes the moon map a favorite because it's pretty easy to get a criss-cross of the patrols. NOTE: I don't do farm designs, so everything I'm offering here is based on normal scripting of multiple missions.
  22. First Flux door mish: That's one laid back Troll.:-)
