  1. True enough. There was plenty in 7th season, and even before that. I just personally felt the quality of jumps dipped by 8th. EDIT: Actually, I just checked online. I was actually okay with 8th season. It was 9th that started to push it for me.
  2. I'd argue that first season of Farscape was a smidge better than most first seasons of other classic sci-fi series. But, yeaaaaaah. First season of SG-1 had problems. When they let Amanda Tapping and Richard Dean Anderson -own- their characters though, rather than following the script to the letter, things really improved. Kinda got ridiculous with shark-jumping by the time R.D.A. left, though. So, sweet spot . . . 3rd to 7th season, I think.
  3. Yes. And it just accentuates the regular stuff that much more intensely when you have this level of contrast. Win-win!
  4. Given that if I keep rolling any given Attuned Confuse IO enough, it will eventually hit all four Sets, I am pretty sure that Attuned become "levelless" in this context.
  5. I like where your head is at, @Arctique, although I would encourage the Devs to retain your proposed slash command even after a more immersive solution is implemented as a quality of life feature. Just make sure that any limitations which would be in place for the immersive system are baked in to the slash command from the start. ie: Can only use the command while in range of a Tailor.
  6. It's nice to see some wholesome activities involving tentacles.
  7. Sorry, let me see if I'm getting the math correct here . . . With the level range of the IOs mattering while they're Attuned, the weights should be something like . . . 66.7~% chance of a Malaise, a 16.7~% chance of a Cacophony, and another 16.7~% chance of a Befuddling? And my results of a roughly 75% to 80% Malaise is just a statistical outlier, with the 0.4% Befuddling being REALLY anomalous, but within acceptable realm of possibility?
  8. I've noticed this trend for a long while, but only started to document it recently. Starting with Attuned Perplex IOs, Converting them within Category, the results seem to be heavily weighted toward Malaise's Illusions. I'm not complaining, but I imagine there might be some kind of issue at play here. becomes 2021-01-21 2021-01-21 2021-01-17 2021-01-13 2021-01-13 2021-01-12 2021-01-12 2021-01-12 2021-01-12 2021-01-12 2021-01-12 2021-01-12 2021-01-12 2021-01-11 2021-01-10 2021-01-10 2021-01-10 2021-01-10 2021-01-10 2021-01-10 2021-01-10 2021-01-10 2021-01-10 2021-01-10 2021-01-10 (I got a lot of the Perplexes on the 10th)
  9. The Legacy Chain seemed to have originated from the Rogue Isles, where all they had were Nick's Delicious Weenies. (Not official Lore.)
  10. 100% Yes! Likewise a slash command for each Citizen blurb would be very helpful.
  11. Arachnos Soldier, (note, the Threat Level has a display error due to switching Builds) Combat Level 20, no Stamina, no Health Arachnos Soldier, Combat Level 20, with Stamina and Health Unenhanced Arachnos Soldier, Combat Level 23, with some Set and Accolade Bonuses to Regeneration and Recovery, and Max HP and Max End Corruptor, (reminder, the Threat Level has a display error due to switching Builds) Combat Level 20, no Stamina, no Health Corruptor, Combat Level 20, with Stamina and Health Unenhanced Corruptor, Combat Level 23, with some Set and Accolade Bonuses to Regeneration and Recovery, and Max HP and Max End
  12. So I just popped on Beta to experiment with something, and I see it's still running the Winter Holiday Event. Just thought I'd report that, in case anyone has interest.
  13. *shrugs* I kind of like the Immobilizes, both the Single Target and AoE variety. Because I don't take them. And that allows me some nice flexibility on Controller and Dominator Builds. BUT, that being said . . . I would really appreciate new Control Sets thinking outside the box and not adhering the same formula so much. Mind Control and Illusion Control are unique in that they don't have Immobilizes. Let's consider building any new Control Sets using those as inspiration for the layout of the Set. Switch things up! Keep it fresh and interesting.
  14. Given what little I know about the costume validation process, though, that's not actually a simple thing in the way the code is currently laid out.
  15. An excellent idea! I'm not sure of where/how the technical aspect of it might operate, and there's a good chance it could cause some issues with invalid costume files causing screwiness, but I definitely approve the suggested direction here!
  16. Circle of Thorns and Arachnos also scale to every level. And in a pinch, Lost and Rikti have been known to intermingle as if they were a single faction. But between those five factions, it might get more than a little repetitive. But @Ultimo? I 100% get what you're looking for and agree that it would be an excellent addition. There are a number of game mechanics which could be modified or introduced to make the sort of gameplay you're looking for a reality. Some are definitely complex and beyond the current scope of development resources, but there are a few low-hanging fruit options that could be relatively easy to implement. However, much to my shared disappointment, the people who feel "it's just a game" seem to be in an overwhelming majority, and I don't think these options will be introduced with the current climate. For now the best suggestion is to find yourself a level-locked sidekick (or make one on an alt account, which are free and unlimited), and run missions while Exemplar'd.
  17. I believe the https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/69-off-topic/ is the most appropriate place to post such game threads.
  18. Very helpful information to share, @Naomi. Thank you!
  19. I want puke attacks too. I could definitely see them as incredibly off-putting for plenty of players too, though. And, like you said, alternate animations rule. I look forward to the day when EVERY Power in the game has at least three.
  20. Darkness Control / Storm Summoning Vigilante, with Presence Pool, and Psionic Mastery, and Radial Paragon Vigour Alpha, Radial Embodiment Control Hybrid, and . . . do any of the Lore Options have a Pet with Fear or Terror Powers?
  21. I'm afraid I can't help track down your friends, as I hadn't played much on Triumph, but I did want to at least say Welcome Home, @KaityUK!
  22. The answer is: Yes. In all seriousness, ideally we'd have all of those various options. Given the limited nature of time and resources, however, maybe just Crew and Over-Knee, with a few variations of stripes (as suggested above).
  23. It's a decently popular idea: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/2926-energy-aura-for-tanks/ https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/11542-a-formal-request/ https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/23645-energy-aura-for-tankers/ https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/24062-energy-aura-for-tank/ However, as seen with https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/11542-a-formal-request/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-113600 it's on at least @Captain Powerhouse's radar insomuch as Powerhouse won't be porting it over as-is.
  24. About the only thing I'd do would be to remove any use of the word Vomit, and make it so all attacks could have optional animations for "casting" from hand or mouth, at player's discretion.
