  1. mission accomplished!
  2. I was looking for "you will be" but could only find: semi topical delete bait I'm sorry
  3. okay, I've seen this enough to chime in. While you could be correct with part of your statements, other parts are missing the mark. Just FYI, what you may be missing is the former NC Soft paywall. Sets/powers/abilities which were intentionally superior in some fashion to drive sales "Titan Weapons is a primary Power Set for Brutes and Scrappers, and a secondary Power Set for Tankers. This premium power set is available for 800 Paragon Points on the Paragon Market for Free and Premium Players; VIP Players must also purchase this set." "Sorcery is one of the Power Pools available on the Paragon Market." "The Paragon Market was introduced with Issue 21/City of Heroes Freedom. The Paragon Market is technically an RMT option sponsored by NCsoft instead of breaking the EULA by buying from "gold farmers". Players can buy Paragon Points with real money, and then purchase items, costumes, archetypes, powersets, and content in the Paragon Market; 400 Paragon Points are also awarded monthly for keeping a VIP subscription (550 for VIPs who have completed Tier 8)." Those intentionally overpowered aspects are now outliers and easy pickings for alignment.
  4. I thought this is what they are trying to get rid of / avoid. (near gap-less chaining)
  5. Umm, this is not the focused feedback section of the forum. Heightened levels of moderation can be indicators of things in the works.. which should be cause for alarm to anyone who currently plays regeneration and likes it. As to @BioFlame question: Instant Healing: why hasn't it been reverted to a toggle yet? Which version of the power would you like to see? There have been a number of them.
  6. +1 A similar post by @America's Angel explained how Regen's deficiencies are could be looked at as benefits. Which can be counter-intuitive, but obvious once adjusted to the concept. I thought maybe that post was in the thread below but couldn't find it.
  7. Yep. Buildup is a combo mechanic.. it already exists and no one will see me complain about using it.
  8. There is a fair point being made here.
  9. How about: 'could be confusing and less than ideal'
  10. I realize some dislike the term 'combo mechanic'. It is what it is. Don't get me started on the now obvious exploit to trigger this latest combo mechanic.
  11. Wish it did but it doesn't There may have been a point where it did similar to when we could have 2 letter names.
  12. A fix to a fix to correct or justify the original 'fix' While in favor of reducing the abuse of powers and avoiding power creep. These changes lend to three comments: There are bold changes a foot. Design is often about knowing when to stop and realizing more often than not, less is more. Designing powers by spreadsheet is a flawed premise. Sure the numbers are good as a guide but great design is not limited by them. I am not in favor of adding combo mechanics where they previously didn't exist. The number of them that seem to be proliferating is alarming. new pool power mechanics pop up power trays existing power sets getting mechanics added These sorcery changes at the surface look interesting but really amount to a nerf at worst and a wash at best. Enflame was fun if you had an immobilize, awful if you didn't. The toggle.. I guess we're just supposed to cast it on a taunting teammate or pet. Are there other pool sets that have two .52/sec end cost toggle powers? I guess that is special. RoP changes are yanking the band aid off a broken power. Yes, maybe the fix could have been simpler.
  13. Do these changes effect vs players or all pvp zone play?
  14. I'll attempt to paraphrase; Using Reward Merits: 25 Merits = 5 Boosters **Special Salvage doesn't count against caps and can be a good way to stash capital. Can then sell as needed up to the 2B infamy cap. 9,999 merits / 5 = 1,999.8 x 1M = 1,999.8M
  15. **Now applies Only Affecting Self so.. sort of
  16. Offering an item at a discount to convert one resource to infamy does not equal getting ripped off.
  17. These are nice. Teleports reduced end cost after initial use & activation time. Does Translocation get the same benefit? These are AWESOME Rocket Board + Magic Carpet + Void Skiff No longer disables all other powers <<--- ..you can now stack them with other flight powers to fly at high speeds in style!
  18. ?! I think it's mostly the opposite of this. Additional slots will now have value to be able to increase speed. Any additional speed without additional slotting is negligible. Keep using a travel power as a mule = negligible increase Change from mule to slot for travel = increase Add slot for travel in addition to mule = increase "Free buff" to Afterburner is objectively not the same as Live Afterburner. This is worthy of consideration.
  19. This likely needs to be restated by more folks and stated more often. It is not negative feedback, it is a perspective that gets lost in an echo chamber.
