  1. I'm against a button that lets the team leader disable my powers. I could see it as an additional option for task forces, but I would find it frustrating to join a regular mission group and face restrictions on what powers I'm allowed to use. You can already form a team without using incarnates by advertising it that way. I don't see what function a no incarnate toggle would provide outside of forcing it on a team that didn't agree to it.
  2. Targeted AoE damage procs go off on creeper vine attacks. I would assume annihilation does the same. I have it slotted, I'll pay attention to the debuffs next time to make sure. It definitely would stack with achilles heel (and fury of the gladiator -res). But multiples of the same proc will not stack.
  3. This seems reasonable to me. Instead of overhauling the entire proc system again just rebalance specific procs or power/proc interactions that are overperforming.
  4. It's not an unbalanced system. Plenty of different ways to build. There's no reason to target nerfs towards one way. Building towards soft cap does a lot more to trivialize the game than anything. There's plenty of content that my proc focused builds are not capable of soloing that a well balanced build could breeze through. It's a tradeoff.
  5. I don't think the proc system should be overhauled again. It would mean needing to potentially respec every single build that uses PPM IOs. I already went through this headache back on live when the proc system was initially overhauled. Just because they are enhancements doesn't mean they should be exempt from the cottage rule. If they no longer fire off reliably in certain powers then you've changed the function of that power they're slotted in. Being forced to respec every single one of my builds would really kill my motivation to play. I hope you reconsider.

  8. I agree with kiramon. Poison doesn't get that much mileage out of other alphas. I'd rather have infinite endurance to debuff everything with.
  9. I've had the same idea. I'm sure it wouldn't be a simple endeavor but my dream would be the incorporation of some sort of map builder into AE.
  10. I run it on my fire/ice dom in conjuction with hotfeet and it works out nicely. I slot it as a damage aura and the damage mitigation is just a bonus. Chilling embrace isn't too end heavy itself (better than mud pots) but hotfeet is such a hog that it's difficult to run both without something like cardiac or ageless.

  13. I don't know if it's consistent but I've noticed that gauntlets increased radius does apply to some primary powers on tankers. The DoT auras on my dark and bio tanker have an increased radius. So does ground zero and radiation therapy/dna siphon/dark regen.
  14. It's a nice idea but I wouldn't want there to be another incentive for trial badges. It's already annoying enough when you join a trial and someone insists on going for a badge.

  17. Looks solid to me. I think you'll get more use out of the ATO in your hold. I don't think that the achilles heel in sleet is that good anymore. Sleet seems to have abysmally low proc chance because it's a pseudo-pet and has a massive radius.
  18. Putting it in an aoe power isn't bad. It does give it multiple chances to hit but it can only trigger once per use. I like to put it in something in my attack chain if possible because it can stack up to 3x. Doesn't always work on every build but some dom secondaries have a solid attack that the ATO dmg proc can be slotted in. The buff lasts pretty long (30 seconds I think) so if you have it in the right attack it's pretty easy to keep up multiple stacks during long fights like AVs. I'm not sure about fiery orb, I dropped it from my build because it didn't seem that useful. And the set bonuses on the ATO set with fiery orb aren't as good as the other ATO set.
  19. Sleet on doms is the best. You won't regret it. max out the recharge in it and that's all it needs. You can also slot the +dmg ATO in midnight grasp if you aren't married to the set bonuses from the rest of the set. Just an option to consider
  20. That never happened. Scrappers have had the same resist caps and crit chances for longer than AE existed
  21. World of confusion was mostly a mule power because the bonuses from coercive persuasion are so good. I run it, but don't really notice much from it. I skipped the hold because I went with proc'd out dominate instead so I didn't really see the need. You'd be surprised how tanky poison can be. Make sure you've got mez protection and poisonous gasses can make up for a lack of defense. You just have to stay up close. It should be fairly easy to cap s/l resist with the dark epic. Add a little melee defense from pool powers and glad/steadfast. With resist, defense, and tohit/damage debuffs combined you've got decent survivability for a squishie even without reaching soft cap. Only way I could see easily soft capping s/l is by going scorpion shield. Or sacrificing some proc slotting for more defense. Personally when I make proc builds I try to go all in even if it means neglecting defense. I aimed for 32.5% ranged defense so that one purple would soft cap me and even lower melee defense since I have debuffs to rely on at that distance.
  22. You could try throwing a bunch of damage procs in freezing touch. It's not bad if you load it up with them. Frigid protection is so good it makes the set worth it to me.
  23. Here's my proc focused poison/rad build if you're interested in taking a look. I went psi epic though, mostly for dominate with procs. It can clear bosses as fast as some of my DPS builds thanks to envenom and poisonous gasses beefing up proc damage. I made some weird slotting choices to get enough global accuracy to neglect acc slotting and not rely on defense debuffs. I ran out of powers I actually used to slot since they were full of procs and had to mule sets into powers like brawl. The build runs ageless and cardiac so I can turn off my brain on endurance management. There's not really any alphas that do a whole lot for poison anyway.   24. Drain psyche is amazing. I wish other assault sets had a similar power. Do you think you could pull it off with any of the other secondaries?
