I didn't realize that was you. Glad I could help out again. It's not necessary to slot the KB to KD since they only do knockdown to even cons and higher already. FF procs are a good option in those powers if you have an odd slot to spare and want a recharge boost.

To me the bread and butter attack chain for single target damage with war mace is Jawbreaker>Clobber>Shatter. Simple and effective. I'd highly recommend moving the critical strikes set over to one of those attacks (I prefer jawbreaker so that clobber and shatter end up critting more) so that it fires off when you are focusing on single target damage. I'd also try to make room for Fury of the gladiator: Chance for -res in shatter. It makes a nice difference against stuff with a big HP pool like AVs. Running moonbeam is a perfectly viable choice, and if you go to the tailor you can disable the redraw animation for mace in the power customization options. Shadow meld is bios best friend. Out of the box its normally enough defense to soft cap you to s/l defense (alongside pool powers and glad/steadfast uniques) so that you don't get ruined by defense debuffs during the alpha strike. The animation is long but you should be firing it off when moving between groups rather than in the middle of combat. Bio has no defense debuff resistance and it's a mix of defense and resistance, so it's particularly weak against defense debuffs. I wouldn't worry about the psi gap. Get into the habit of using ablative carapace and shadow meld when moving between groups. Neither of them root you so you can use them while moving. You should be able to tank any kind of alpha strike long enough to start a murder spree. You definitely want to slot out ablative more. It's one of the best survival tools you've got. I like to slot 6 preventative medicine, but just make sure to get more heal and recharge in it.

Replace Damage Procs With ED-Ignoring Damage Enhancements
Pzn replied to aethereal's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
on my proc focused builds I often slot 5 procs and 1 50+5 purple damage IO (for +66% damage). If you run musculature as well then that puts you at 110% +damage enhancement. That requires getting enough tohit and accuracy bonuses elsewhere to ignore accuracy slotting though. -
You're using a power with a base recharge of 20 seconds. Now that's being disingenuous. So you think procs should be adjusted because you don't want to use them? It didn't affect your build to learn of another option.
-
Even in your example you are making sacrifices in order to slot procs. 3 eradications with 1 being a proc isn't going to give good enhancement values for acc/dam/end. And if you fill the rest of the power up with procs then you're only getting 2 set bonuses as opposed to 5. And before you start name calling I'm not being "disingenuous". There's plenty of instances where you can slot recharge in a power without lowering the proc chance. I often skip out on a proc in order to slot more recharge on a long cooldown attack.
-
It depends on the power. You are vastly oversimplifying it. You also sacrifice accuracy, endurance, and recharge slotting alongside set bonuses.

I really like to split up the superior gauntleted fist ATO set into 2 sets of 3 for max e/n resistance. I haven't taken a look at your build so not sure if it will work out for you, but it's an easy way to pick up 12% e/n if it does.

I'd recommend slotting a force feedback proc in mass levitate. You said you needed a bit more recharge and that should help you spam your AoE and get your slower cooldowns up more often. Dropping arma to 5 slots just loses you some psi bonus in exchange for a big boost to your AoE potential. If you want even more AoE you could sacrifice some set bonuses in ground zero and slot some damage procs instead. Due to its long base cooldown the damage procs are nearly guaranteed to fire off. Slot enough procs and it's a mini-nuke of it's own.

I've been experimenting on beta with ninja secondary after it was buffed. Currently shinobi is bugged so I can't use it during my testing. But the buff to Golden Dragonfly made me interested in the set since it accepts both achilles and fury -res procs. I'm averaging 1:25 pylon times without hybrid and 1:15 with. Typical attack chain is something like GD>TK Thrust>Psi Lance>Choking Powder with priority on GD and TK thrust because they have FF procs slotted. Should be able to go a little bit lower once shinobi is working properly. Using Muscualture, Ageless, Degen, Assault

Happening to me as well. Seems to happen when I activate aim or any incarnate abilities while shinobi is toggled.

Thanks, thought it might have been a bug. -

Is the 5% tohit bonus from Shinobi supposed to be suppressed during combat? It's only applying while hidden like the larger tohit bonus did previously. -
Freezing touch is absolutely must-have. I consider it the best power in ice melee. It does take a few seconds to deal it's full damage though, so it's best used against higher HP targets
-
Seems like the jump from your 355 dps to his 500 comes from the -res procs. Definitely an interesting choice over psi epic

Run it on a scrapper. The damage boost from offensive adaptation makes a way larger difference on scrappers than it does on brutes. Any damage boosts on scraps also increase the damage of their critical hits, so it's like double dipping. Brutes on the otherhand have lower base damage with tons of +damage. That 30% damage boost from offensive is hardly noticeable compared to the nearly 200% from fury. It ends up being proportionately less of an increase in damage on brutes.

This was what I remember being said as well. That the sg tp macros would not be removed until an alternative with the same functionality was added. I think that something like ouro portals would be fine.

It's really cool that you created custom sound effects that fit your vision of your character. That's going above and beyond. Once you see that costume the sounds seem just right.

Just FYI the people I know only count posts like this as denigrating and smug.

Neutron bomb animation time is longer than 1.67. The description in game has been wrong forever. It's closer to 3 seconds last time I tested it out. I'm not sure if it's bugged or if the cast time is wrong on the power info but it definitely takes longer to cast if you time it. And even then there's a large delay for the hit after that 3 seconds.

Buffs breaking Emotes on targets: A partial workaround
Pzn replied to Keen's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Damn I never thought about this. I was just trying to buff up before the fight, I swear you guys. -
It's not necessary to nerf other players because of an inferiority complex about performance. Just play with people you like to play with. The burden should be on the people that want more restrictions. You are welcome to find like minded players to join you instead of forcing other players to conform to your ideal through nerfs.

it really is that good. I run it on my claws/bio in moonbeam and the proc fires off consistently.
