  1. I don't need Accuracy, Rage gives me oodles of +ToHit as well
  2. It's incredible how people can fixate on the negative. With Rage you have Build Up 90% of the time. It's literally Build Up! There's nothing more Super Strength than having a massive damage buff all the time. If that means a trivial amount of time spent doing no damage for game balance reasons, that's something I'm absolutely fine with.
  3. Of course not.
  4. Then why did you say that increasing the damage would be a laughably easy fix to it’s prpblems?
  5. Not really a fair comparison, is it? For permanent double-stacked Rage you need 300% recharge, but for permanent double-stacked Follow Up you only need 100% recharge. With 300% recharge on Claws, using Follow Up every time it's charged means you're spending 1 second out of every 4 casting Follow Up, and I have to guess at that point your DPS has nose-dived.
  6. One stack of Rage is still stronger than two stacks of Follow Up and can itself be double stacked, it isn't subject to the 95% hit cap or enemy defense buffs or tohit debuffs and so never fails, you don't need to spend as much time activating it, at high recharge amounts you actually spend more time activating Follow Up than you spend in the Rage crash, it costs less endurance (even with the endurance crash), it looks pretty
  7. It has a .95 ranged damage scalar, which is higher than Defenders, Controllers, or Kheldians. Well that's about a 6.5% increase in damage. Not really sure that's gonna have the effect you're looking for. I thought you said this was easy?
  8. Just to clarify, are you claiming that the crash is a penalty for the damage buff bringing SS up to par, or that it's what keeps SS from outperforming everything else?
  9. Yeah, it seems pretty hypocritical to me for one to accuse the original devs of a lack of creativity when one can’t even conceive of a character whose concept doesn’t follow its powers’ in-game mechanics 1-to-1.
  10. Have you got the little articles and stuff about the actual game they’d have in the back of the physical issues, though? Now that would be a find.
  11. So... inaccessible? Or you want them to put in a room that’s only reachable through map holes?
  12. Spewing spent brass from what
  13. If you want more passive regeneration, keep the Numina. However, as a Nature you don't really need that piddly regen buff either. I'd drop both and put a Preventive Medicine in there.
  14. Male characters can’t have waist capes because the fluttering of the cape would be like a bright red signal every time they fart. It’s fine on female characters because as we all know, girls don’t fart.
  15. They should just switch the IO to lock the slow snipe. Permanent fast snipe is pointless, it's trivially easy to get into fast snipe mode.
  16. I use a high-yield explosive rocket launched in her direction with a note tied to it that says "i think ur cute ❤️"
  17. So, as you know, it's only 173 days until Halloween, and the Halloween event starts even sooner than that, so it's the perfect time to bump this thread!
  18. Maybe we could've had a cold damage proc by now if somebody *👈👈👈* had been able to come up with a name for an IO set that sounded like it would do cold damage...
  19. I have no experience with this pet specifically, but I don’t think there’s a single NPC in the game with a toggle that doesn’t turn it on and off intermittently.
  20. I believe the red blasts in Energy Assault were also new FX at the time, and Ice Sword Circle and Ice Slash were new powers, but made from existing FX and animations.
  21. HC went and standardized the language describing recharge times in power descriptions to correspond to discrete recharge ranges, but I don’t think the same was ever done for damage.
  22. Oy, look at Typist Rockefella ova heah! Probably went to fancy pants Mavis Beacon typing school, got no idea what it’s like typing on the streets
  23. You’re talking about the player characters
  24. Ice has tools for everything. Shiver and Frigid Protection keep enemies at range, while Frozen Aura (which is worth taking now) and Freezing Touch control enemies that get into melee. Ice Patch works for both ranges; sure, you can plant it and just stand in it, but you can also plant it a fall back a bit, using it as a choke point. If you haven’t tried Ice since Live, you’ve never tried Frigid Protection’s massive 30-foot radius slow aura, which naturally puts the 10-foot radius it had as Chilling Embrace to shame.
