  1. Something else to consider, regular mobs have a base 50% chance to hit with a floor of 5%. This means that you need 45% defense to floor regular enemy chance to hit. Knowing that, even your 17.33% defense gets your a fair amount of the way there.
  2. AFAIK raids don't prevent you from auto-logging off if you're afk too long, so this idea doesn't actually change anything.

  4. You only get the guaranteed aether if you have your alpha unlocked. Otherwise you only have the standard 1-in-50 chance on mission completion.
  5. Depends on a few things. The whole game is technically balanced around SOs, so your shouldn't be getting your butt kicked too hard unless you have the difficulty cranked. Is there a reason you have both Fly and Super Speed? You took fly and hover at very low levels, meaning you only have 1 attack if you ever exemplar below 15. Are you willing to spend a lot on an IO build? My current Inv/SS is a pretty good build, but with the recent changes to Inv my psi resist is probably higher than it needs to be, and I'm trying to fit in laser beam eyes for both concept and having a ranged attack reasons. When I get to my computer later today (currently on my phone) I'll post both builds and you can see what you like and don't like. But like I said, you'll have to be willing to spend a pretty penny to get there. Inv/SS is a very popular combo. Both because it can be very powerful and also it's the "classic hero" combination. If you're impatient try doing some searches in the forum, you'll find lots of build.
  6. Some defender primaries (storm, traps, etc) solo better than others ( Force field for example) That being said, I've soloed just about every character I have, including FF defenders.
  7. I'll second what everyone has said. Resistance automatically resists resistance debuffs Invulnerability is a hybrid defense/resistance set DDR is not overrated on invulnerable (or any other set for that matter) And one more thing... Even if none of the above were true, the simple fact that invulnerability is already a top-tier set means it shouldn't be "buffed"
  8. Katana has always been a left handed weapon in game, hence why you hold it in your left hand when not in combat. The problem (I think) with making choices like mace on hip is that the animation for mace always has drawn from the back, so the devs would have to re-do all the animations with the different locations for every single weapon power.
  9. While Stone/Dark is certainly a survivability beast, if your want aggro grabbing to the max then Ice or Bio armor paired with Spines or Rad melee for extra AOE grabbing attention. Ice/bio both have 2 taunt auras and spines/rad both have an additional toggle power.

  12. Nobody is forced to play the new challenging content, they didn't make the base ITF any harder. Why do you think adding content that isn't faceroll rest is a bad thing?
  13. Pretty sure 3 is the most you'll get. 2 from ice blast and then one from storm or cold.

  16. Pretty sure if you read the text that introduces you to him out says "go outside" or something like that, and when you do go outside it adds him to there compass.
  17. How are batons blades?
  18. Tankers have Gauntlet, which gives a 5 target AoE taunt to all single target attacks. Savage has 3 good AoEs for tanks too, he should be starting off by jumping in with Savage Leap, which should grab most aggro. Additionally, tanks all have a taunt aura in their primary. (in this case Invincibility) which will help as well.
  19. One thing to think about is that Assault Rifle has 3 Cones and you'll likely be taking all 3 of them, meaning you'll be jumping in and out of melee range. Other than that, I don't think it's too crazy.
  20. This is not a small butterfly effect, this would literally affect 99% of powers in the game.
  21. Yes, but Ageless Radial is better for dark because there's no DDR in the set. Unless you forgo defense in your build, radial is the better choice, making cardiac the best alpha choice.
  22. Gauntlet only adds AoE Taunt to single target powers, not AoE powers.
  23. Illusion controllers are usually very fun for me. Something about all of the chaos they create while being not terrible at control is just the bees knees.
  24. Are you sure you don't have 2 accounts and the toons in question are on the other ones?
