  1. (Warning: pure speculation ahead) It's probably a bug holdover from the MM power that it replaces. That power is activated on one of your pets (or possibly all allies?) And therefore could accept range enhancements.
  2. You can't, as far as I know, change their default stance. However, you could make a bind that changes their stance. /bind <key> "petcom_all attack aggressive" Here's a list of all the pet commands https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Pet_Commands
  3. It's not optimal... I've "wasted" the power too many times when I hit the activate but then remember it doesn't auto-rotate your character toward your target. I'm pretty sure Vorpal Judgement existed before Martial Assault, so the devs already knew they could make a cone not have a target.
  4. I've never tried 1/2/3 but have only ever gotten 4 and 5 to work, none of the higher ones.
  5. Energizing circuit also gives +recharge. Also, most people do not have their endurance figured out at level 10, I wouldn't delay it.
  6. Every power that you wanted to add a shield bash animation would need an additional animation made. You wouldn't just be able to use the existing animation because animation times are linked to powers.
  7. It is a 120 degree arc already, so I suspect altering its arc is a non-starter. I'm not against the other changes, but if the devs feel all of them are too powerful, then I'd suggest just removing the interaction between focus and power crash.
  8. Yeah, I feel like it was pre-CoH, but I'm basing that off of remembering I had installed it on the 1 family computer, whereas when I started playing City I had my own computer.
  9. My first actually was a Red Hat project... Fedora Core 2. Seeing as they're now on Fedora 42, I feel old.
  10. The only significant freakshow end drainers are Super Stunners, whose rez is completely in player control (don't be in melee when they die). I'm against dumbing this game down more.
  11. Right, but PBAoEs had their areas tweaked and did *not* have their other stats touched.
  12. I don’t understand people who say cones are useless or hard to use. I regularly hit 2 enemies with Golden Dragonfly, and that’s balanced around being a ST attack. I was playing an ice/ scrapper yesterday and regularly hitting 4-5 targets. the recent tanker changes suggest this is not a hard and fast rule.
  13. What a problem to have!
  14. Welcome back! You'll likely find everything overwhelming, but the community is very helpful.
  15. So, that picture reminds me of one of my cats… here he is “hiding”
  16. So is a Shield stalker, but we have that.
  17. I’m talking about a TA/Dark defender, not controller. Sorry for the confusion.
  18. Force Field is not a particularly solo friendly set in the low levels, it gets better at 20 for corrs, but even then it’s not amazing solo. dispersion bubble doesn’t keep away foes, but it does give you defense and some mez protection. The defense it provides is really key for soloing. You’ll want to look at Force Bomb as well, it does guaranteed knock down and -resist in an AoE, so it helps defensively and offensively.
  19. Nothing has changed with Invulnerability in a long time, so those numbers are probably right. That being said, you can build for high Def/Res for S/L/E/N/F/C, you're just not going to hit both def soft cap and resist hard cap.
  20. After reading your post about Angels of Mons, I’m forced to suggest TA/Dark. Yes, your number is melee range, but there’s a lot of good “stay away from me” between glue arrow and TT. Life Drain also feeds into the “siphoning life “ thing.
  21. Well, vigor does apply accuracy enhancement
  22. Your memory of the N64 is failing you. I’m not saying that the graphics look amazing, but… I mean…
  23. No native Linux version means at the bare minimum I’m waiting a month to see what compatibility looks like. sounds promising though.
  24. Here’s my guess: Tri cannon and spirit tree can be defeated, so there is some risk in the taunt glittering column lasts about 3 seconds. very different than a power that lasts 60 seconds, is invulnerable and can be made permanent.
