i run dark armor with all toggles on. i also run the two fighting shields. in previous versions (well, one still exists, intact) i have also used energy masterys accuracy toggle as well as combat jumping and manuevers. i find the extra defense unnecessary. i also find the accuracy toggle not as good as dropping all energy mastery and replacing with soul mastery and throwing purples in the two AoE powers there.

Adding a 50+ version of ITF (all team members must be 50 possibly?) that goes higher than 50+4? That is a regular among hard core late game players. I run it every couple days at least on my 50. Drops/merits/etc. Last night there were 4-5 incarnates and a few lower. We melted the thing. Rom gave up before his 3rd kill and awarded "Mission Complete" which was funny as hell. We killed him and finished towers, but he knows how to concede.

generally i like the auction system in City. top notch. compare to say...WoW....bottom toilet Very easy to understand. 1st sold, lowest asking price. first buy highest paying price. How can any auction designer screw that up...nvm...peeps... My AH UI dtill does not load last 5 bids for crap. Fix that and makes it last 10 and you would improve an already well functioning system. Props for merging salvage and seeding stuff as well. You guys are great. -
If you do not get the "right" 6 drops perfectly you can convert them "in set" using enhancement converters until they turn into the one you want

thanks, did not even realize that. mostly i play by ear. unless something like permadom or softcap def. i just followed another posters advice and dropped energy mastery for soul mastery. very nice AoE added

lol. Yeah, I still havent taken the time to do it. After I 50d (Thursday night? Friday?) I spent the rest of my gaming time Incarnating. Now tier 4 on all 6 powers (I got real lucky on drops...so many VRs I have two notices of the well left over I did not need to use, one from the weekly, one from the badge) Now I am spending the week (working sigh, so just here and there) knocking out Accolade Powers. This weekend I will start seriously knocking out the 35-50 content. THen next weekend I will do Christmas madness.

i do not know what you are building. but if it is any AT with invulnerability armor search Hyperstrikes generic Invul guide for any AT. it is sick how tight the design is.

Redside you normally spend more time trying to get interest in the TF than running it. Hope that helps.

running solo i assume you are doing story arcs, running at +0/x1? I run Story Arcs a lot, then I run the same characters in madness filled Incarnate Trials and +4 ITFs. They are two different games. Running solo is an interesting cruise along the top of the water. Sometimes complicated or amazing. Does not require a ton of....anything really. Heavy 50 content is going deep and you have to build for the pressure and how you want the build to perform. And it is a learning process of what is good, what works for you, what you like. Some peoples slow resistance is never get hit. Then on the odd chance they do get hit they deal with consequences. (fly, break free, suffer....) I use a Force Feedback +rech in Kick attack from fighting pool. I know if I ever need to kick something my Rech has been nerfed to crap so it was a perfect decision...

The Tentacles on Soul Mastery are white. They always have been. Used to annoy me years ago. Annoying me again. I am running Dark/Dark/Soul and I have used every trick in the Facemaker book to get the look I want. But Soul Mastery, even colored black/black....has big white tentacles all over the screen. Could we get a no tentacle option like on midnight grasp?

You are on the right track picking a concept you enjoy and building to that. The opposite extreme is building a Fire Farmer that micro examines every game mechanic and attempts to use only the most perfect build/rotation/macros Finding who you want to run and enjoying that will be a reward in its own. I fell in love with a Dark/Dark I had parked after someone asked me how they ran. I jumped into a farm ands impressed myself lol. Then i ran it as a a main for months. I recentl;y started a new dark/dark and ran the entire redside contact list with it. When I got to 50 (yesterday) I discussed in Brute Forums builds. Turns out my build I ran for months wassnt really optimal. Neither is the one I "upgraded" to i am sure. But they are fun. Fun is the best thing to have. Pick what you like, learn a little, tweak, play it and love it.

I do not play Bio Armor, and barely play Energy melee. Otherwise I would throw a build up. I was going to just grind out something in MIDs.... Then I tought...What is your budget? What is your build goal? Lot of questions. If I throw up a real expensive build it might be worthless to you.

Finally 50'd! working 50 hours this week, workouts, life... This is the build I went with. The good news is I did not have to strip the other Dark/Dark. I had to buy one set of Purples, well 5 pieces. The set I had in the base was attuned, and I need the raw. I still need to boost the purps, because it takes so much time lol. this is very good advice. i am implementing this into my new 50 build. Although I will be using the Soul Masteryt attacks. Because, sucker for theme here.

Nice. I like Touch of Fear as well. I use Dark Regeneration as part of my AoE, it is ALWAYS up lol. THe point about Hasten and Global Recharge is good. However I am using the new guy as a Badger. So I will be doing tons of low level content. Incarnate bonuses only kick in at 50, er, right? I honestly dont know. THe Overkill on Accuracy is probably a good point. However Oppressive Gloom and Cloak of Fear both have crap base accuracy. And I run this guy heavy at Incarnate with peeps that love 50+4. So to make the magic happen I overkill the accuracy. Which of course feeds the Soul Drain hopper and gets the roller coaster zipping too. Also, I love thatit mules Rectified Reticle proc. I can see you, you cannot see me. Maybe the toon has Meh Defenses, but it is a ghetto controller wrapped up on a Brute warchassis.

I just want to start Redside in the Zig again, breakout and get the Arachnos Flyer ride to Fort Darwin. That is the epic start to great storylines lol. Sure, it doesnt fit for every concept. But it works well for a great number. And it always felt right. -

You seem very sure of yourself. Which I appreciate. I am going to say you are correct. For me, ....no lol. Maybe I am lazy but I just levelled a Dark/Dark through every contact, including all possible side missions Redside. Now at 47. I had a great time. I think if I had not had Dark Melee I would have literally been sucking wind. Yes, I used every tool at my disposal. Theft of essence is nice, it is not that impressive. It helps. Dark Consumption is what brings home the bacon. For me.

I have a ton of accuracy in my build. The rolling constant effect of Cloak of Fear and Oppressive Gloom, in combination with being mostly stealthed 100% time (Cloak of Darkness) provides the mitigation needed when I jump in for endless alphas. This build does not have Defense Debuff Resistance, and honestly not a high amount of built up defense. Instead it depends on Fear, Stun, to-hit Debuffs, and Stealth. This layered mitigation, (fueled by a ton of accuracy) is extremely effective. I need to talk to a good builder about how much of Energy Mastery and Recharge I need though. My build goals have not changed, but I do want to tighten up the build. I suspect I can slightly back off global recharge, but prob not be able to drop Energy Mastery. But maybe. Touch of Fear is meh. It stacks nicely with cloak of fear on ST. I will be using it in the build. On high recharge this build is a PBAoE monster. Not only do I have the stun, fear, and damage auras, I have Shadow maul and Touch of fear doing okay AoE. AND I have Soul Drain, Dark Consumption and Dark regeneration cycling all the time. It is a ghetto AoE chain, but it works. And it works well.

Honestly love the new content you guys added. I would love to see more incarnate content. I think if we have a long term goal it might focus a bit on developing the endless possibilities at Incarnate storylines and the end game experience. The more of that the healthier I believe we will be. If you folks can write it with the same quality you put into Buzzsaw's new arc it will blow the doors off the old devs stuff -
Honestly there is no way to recreate it on this server. I got here after CoV but before inherent fitness. And there is the rub isnt it? Because as a lover of lowbie Brutes for over a year I juggled and struggled to keep my End bar filled lol
