  1. All the attacks in TW are very good, the only skippable thing is Taunt. I like to take it on my Tankers but it's not a must. TW doesn't do well with attacks from epic power pools because they sheathe your weapon and it's really long to get the ball rolling again once you do. It is a very self contained set that has everything it needs to go to town without outside help
  2. Street Justice is the most "Normie" set out there IMO and it's also really fun !
  3. Yes, that's a 15% damage increase across the board on all melee attacks. Pretty much the only place you won't be seeing this level of damage mod is in the EPP attacks like Fireball and Electrifying Fences and certain primary and secondary sets that have a ranged attack here and there like /Spines' Impale and Throw Spines or Fire/ Burn: THAT BEING SAID, the ranged modifier has also been significantly been increased from 0.5 to 0.8 so those attacks actually got a 30% damage increase too. It also takes away the archaic mechanic that you NEEDED to use your T1 attack to do any semblance of damage to a single target, now those damage boost are applied to all attacks. All buff values, epic pool, leadership etc. Probably by eating a bunch of Red candies with a DM or SS Tanker. Full target DM Soul Drain gives something like 150%, combined with the +dam from SD i think is another 60%-ish + Assault at 15% you get about 235% not counting any +damage% you might have from you set bonuses, lets say an easy 15% there so around 250% if you hit 10 targets with Soul Drain and 10 targets with Against All Odds means you're 5x 50% Red cookies away from cap ! Very much so yes. So much so that outside of Fire Farms, I don't even see the point of playing a Brute.
  4. Why would you want to gimp everybody so that a single boring powerset becomes "Viable" that makes no sense at all. Why not just change FF to make it fun and interesting ? Broad, sweeping changes like that that would force 75% of the population to respec are NOT what you do to fix an issue with ONE set
  5. That being said, in your first post you seem to be able to open the mids file just fine, it just breaks because you don't have the latest version so you must have it installed somewhere on your computer, you need to find where mids is installed and copy/paste the source code.zip from the mids reborn unofficial site on top of where you installed Mids Reborn. That folder on your quick bar called "Hero and Villians builds" looks mighty suspicious If all else fails and you can't find it, just get a fresh install of Mids, again from the Mids Reborn thread in my previous post, you can use this link here to download a preinstalled version of Mids that you can just drop somewhere on your computer and use that to upgrade to Mids Unofficial. Once you Open Zip Archive (Main) you will see the file structure looks almost exactly the same as in one of my screenshots earlier in the thread, the "Paste Folder Contents Here" image @dinatar Sorry for hijacking your thread bro, you builds look super sick 😃
  6. MRB_Setup.msi is an install package file, if it doesn't install you might need to install the required version of .net framework. In the Mids Reborn thread there is a section called "What's Required to Run" https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/7645-mids-reborn-hero-designer/ You need to get the .Net 4.7.2 file
  7. Its just a file you download and you open 1) click on Releases in the "Install instructions" section 2) click on the weekly update "Update 2020 - 03 -26 (1120pm)" 3) download "source code.zip" 4) follow the screenshots i posted
  8. There is a section called "Install Instructions" a little ways down in that link i posted Once you download Source Code.zip file, you open it and drop the contents of the folder on your mids reborn folder
  9. It pretty simple to install, the install instructions are here: https://github.com/zethriller/MRB-Updates You literally just open up the folder in the .zip file you download, drop that in your existing mids folder. It asks to overwrite files, you say yes and you're done
  10. That's mids being mids, you have to open the file from the program to get it properly That's because you don't have the latest version of mids with the new powerpool. Mids is no longer actively worked on by Mid and has been taken over by another team:

  12. After playing it with Fire cages for a while, I ended up changing it for Electrifying Fences, turns out too much of a good thing is not good ! Fire Cages radius is too large lol and I was immobing things too far away from me. I play this character pretty much in the thick of things spamming my pbaoe powers so Fire Cages was just too much. EF is just perfect and it hits harder too !
  13. After playing my gal for a bit I realized 2 things: Firstly, I don't think I'll ever be using the T9 power from SR, Elude, ever. Considering I'm a good deal over the def cap in all my positionals, I have a good amount of def debuff resist and I never run out of end, I can't think of a situation where I would want to use this power. Secondly: MAOR AOE. Electron Haze is a nice power, and I'm keeping it where it is but in terms of dishing out the deeps, it's just not there. So instead of Elude, I went and got Fire Cages and slotted it with a bunch of Procs which should give it a decent damage. I debated getting Electrifying Fences from Mu Mastery since it deals a lot more base damage, but the increased range (30 radius vs 10 radius) convinced me to go with Fire Cages. I also changed around some enhancements: Red Fortune is gone from Weave and Maneuvers. I changed them to Reactive Defenses and Shield Wall to save some slots from Dodge to accommodate the new power. Though now I'm a smidge under ranged def cap, at 44.4% but I think I can manage to scrape that 0.6% back if I +5 the Shield Wall enhancements in Maneuvers (I usually go all attuned) Hero Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.6.0.7 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! 14. The only real problem I have with Sentinels is their max targets per attack. My Radiation Blast gal can only hit 6 targets with her cone where the others hit 10. An interesting fix to the max targets and to a lesser extent, the damage problem would to be to add a unique 6pcs set bonus to each of the ATOs (that way you are not locked into one or the other set if you only want to slot 1 ATO set in your build) to increase the max targets and damage values of one attack to the Blaster numbers. You could call it your "Signature Spell". This way you get to choose which of your attacks gets to be buffed to suit your playstyle the best.
  15. Thanks for the feedback ! I had totally omitted the Steadfast IO (d'oh ! ) I finished the Gaussian set Don't think I need the Panacea proc that much for endurance since already have Enduring for the extra endo slot. I finished the Preventative Medicine set in Master Brawler I also added a few more damage procs in the attacks EDIT: Dropped another slot from Maneuvers, still gives perma hasten to add extra slot to health for Panacea proc Hero Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.6.0.7 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! 16. I finally decided to try out a Sentinel and I am having much more fun than I thought I would be with the little gal ! I love the laser eyes and the mushroom clouds that pop up when I nuke stuff =D I'm a lot less bothered with the lower max targets than Blasters since I get to be so resilient. Here is a build I made for my gal, it has softcap positionals but the base resists are not that high, this changes as I take damage though so I think along with that scaling resist buffs I should be ok. I tried to focus mostly on getting perma haste (done with the IOs at +5 not shown by default) and as much +damage as I could get, currently it's a +38% What do you guys think ? Anything suggestions to make this better ? Possibly better proc placement because I'm only white belt in proc-fu I'm afraid Thanks ! 17. Quick note about this, out of the 3 common procs in Health, Miracle gives the most +end back (+15%) followed by Numina (10%)and Panacea (7.5%)gives the least. I would also advise you give Hover a try, it is a fantastic combat ability that gives +def, takes a Luck of the Gambler global recharge IO an lets you avoid all manner of ground based attacks and costs almost 0 end to have toggled. I added a flight power because I saw you had one so you must like it. Personally I almost never get a travel power on any of my characters, Spring + Ninja Run + Jetpacks + enterbasefrompasscode are sufficient for me. I rather take another actual power than a fly/SJ/SS. Modifying existing builds to suit your tastes is a great way to get to know what works and what doesnt, what people take and what sets they use. Highly recommend you keep doing that sort of thing. Also keep looking for feedback !

Before confinement I would farm to level my guys to 22-27 or something (for 25 or 30 IOs) and then give them enough inf for their starter generic IOs + Panacea, Miracle and numina. Since confinement... I have been AFK farming pretty much non stop on my second monitor while I work on my business laptop plugged into my main monitor. 21. Didn't want to sound like a dick just saying your build sucks and leaving it at that, here is a build I threw together that will be MUCH more playable. 45% S/L def, 38% E Def, and 24.7 for the rest The build is certainly up for interpretation though. I didn't choose Hasten because I don't really care for it on Masterminds, you could certainly take it if you fancy having it, Tactics could be dropped for this along with the frankenslot Cloud Sences IO in Fearsome Stare to get it to 2 slots for 2x Recharge IOs to get it's recharge down. Could also drop one of the Knockback resist slots, Karma in Shadowfall or Steadfast Protection in Tough, pretty sure 8 is sufficient in most cases, I have 12 mag slotted here to be safe I wasn't really sure how to slot the Dark Servant pet that could be changed up too to possibly be better, I put in Panacea to get some +recharge but that is a very expensive set and something different could be done there pretty easily to lower the cost. Petrifying Gaze could also be dropped for something else since it is your only hold you won't be able to stack it to hold big targets. It will be dealing some damage though with all the procs in it so that's something I didn't do anything for the Incarnates, I'll leave that up to you to figure out since they are pretty subjective. Only thing I would recommend there is Musculature in the Alpha will help your pets deal more damage Villain Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.6.0.7 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! 22. Possibly the worst build ever posted. If you don't take your pet buffs you will not be able to do much of anything as a mastermind. Enchant Undead and Dark Empowerment are the most important skills in your set right behind your pets themselves
  23. I admit I hadn't factored in the power boost which ups the Def to a livable level at 26% according to mids (Yes I know, mids should be taken with a grain of salt) but that doesn't change the fact that it's a near 0% resistance build. You clearly put a lot of time, effort and care into your build and your guide but I just don't think it's something for me, I really need something more survivable to have a good time because I'll freely admit, I'm a total Controller noob and this guy is pretty much the first one I got above level 30 that I find enjoyable to play. I feel I'm going to be eating so much dirt with a near 0% resist build that I'm going to start being able to tell which part of the city it comes from by taste before long.
  24. I looked into that build you mentioned, it has some interesting ideas but it's basically a 0% def 0% resist build. I guess it works for him but I couldn't bring myself to play such a wet noodle 😮 I think I'll stick with yours at least for the time being =D
