It is quite noticeable when you approach it. Depending on your position, you can see one or the other misplaced tile as a constant shimmer. Total OSHA violation, as well as fire marshal issues 😉 The building at [5917.2 46.7 3615.6] (when facing south). 1 Instanced MSRs on Everlasting, 3:30pm Eastern on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The power lines in front of the Skyway exit in Faultline just kind of... end. And that'd be fine, if there was a last power pole for them to connect to. Eden [1920.2 -6.0 1481.8] At the same lake just a bit west, there's another seam at a point where the lake gets a bit deeper, the sloped ground not quite meeting the flat ground. Starhammer Posted September 2, 2023 Share Posted September 2, 2023 I think this falls under geometry errors, but it's not a specific /loc. I've had this happen before, but not often. I entered the Peregrine Island Police Station, and upon entering the building, my perspective was dropped to a "worm's eye view". If I look up, I see above the world from floor level, if I look down, I see below the geometry from floor level. I cannot zoom my perspective out to 3rd person either (I almost never use 1st person view, so the change was instantly noticeable). I can still move around, click on doors and portals, and engage surface enemies. Moving to another zone via base portal doesn't fix anything, nor does dying and going to hospital. Same for logging out and relogging. I was able to fix the problem by closing the client, restarting, and (this step may not have been necessary) logging in a different character before relogging the one who experienced the bug. There's something wrong with the door to enter the Peregrine Island PD. Like I said, this doesn't happen often but it has happened a few times, and only there. The same 'ground level view' effect sometimes occurs when exiting an elevator in office maps, but in that case, it corrects itself when you move. Got a couple other players to join team and confirm the same happened to them (thanks Mapserv Mage and Diamond Cutter). Edit: Slight mischief/griefing potential if I TT people into the building, then drop team before they can click the door to escape, which I accidentally did. I swear there were more, but I combed Faultline, Perez, and KR and I could only find a few. So either you guys have been fixing them or it's a rendering error. For reference I am on Everlasting, Plain Ultra mode graphics, 4x AA, 2560x1440, NVidia 4070ti, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 64 GB. Idk if it matters but I need to brag sometimes. When the villains run on this floor, they go straight to this hole and fall off the map.
