Could we get some detail on what these fixes are? 'Fixed' doesn't tell us how it was broken or what changed.

Discussed in this thread:

Banished Pantheon Lore pets had a flag on their attacks that makes the effects ignore level combat modifiers, similar to how Giant Monsters or Event enemies scale with their targets' level, but just on their powers. This resulted in them doing way more damage in situations where they should be penalised for being a lower level than their target, and doing way less damage when their target is lower level than them. This was likely caused by them having been more or less copied over without many changes from the versions fought against as enemies in Dark Astoria, as they were originally implemented in the Issue 24 betas just before the shutdown of Paragon Studios and may have been unfinished. This also applied to non damaging effects, like -Resistance, making them crazy powerful.

Similarly, I'm assuming that some of their AOE attacks didn't have target caps as they were effectively NPC versions likely intended to keep them effective versus leagues in Dilemma Diabolique where there could be many targets (imagine a full league of MMs with all their pets, if the NPCs had low target caps they wouldn't be able to chew through the sheer number of targets), causing the Lore pet versions to hit way more targets per attack than other Lore pets. Basically, with BP lore pets the way they were, every other lore pet paled in comparison when it comes to effectiveness in every field, except maybe street sweeping in Atlas Park!

My guess is this will make versions that depend on raw DPS, mostly meaning Cimerorans, more competitive relative to the BP. BP do nice damage, but their biggest benefit, IMO (this bug notwithstanding) is the -res the Ravager can apply. That's still going to be very useful against hard targets. There's a good reason that -res is one of the most popular things to bring along on a team/league that needs to burn down hard targets.

It's just not going to be as useful against over-level hard targets as it was. Ignoring combat mods was already a non-linear boost relative to something that did not ignore them, but they got to accelerate that boon even more with unmodified -res.

My guess: -regen is good for hard targets. Personally, I prefer -res, because its benefit scales with your own (and your allies') DPS, but for folks with middling to low DPS, the massive -regen from the Cataphract is useful. It's own DPS is actually quite poor, but the -regen can count for a lot of "effective" DPS.

Edit: And it does look pretty cool.

Longbow used to be the go-to pet for the Tyrant fight in Magisterium, in particular for Really Hard Way badge. But some folks did some testing and made it known that the -res from the BP is a better tool to use against Tyrant than -regen. Apparently Tyrant has massive -regen resistance, so -res is better.

Based on scanning him with Survelliance, we found that Tyrant is actually completely immune to -regen.

Yeah, we found that out back pre-sunset based on the old City of Data. -Regen from any source is useless on him, so -res and -maxHP are the only debuffs that help take him down faster.

Yay degen core and achilles' heel.
