I don’t suppose this includes fixing the misaligned texture wrapping on the female thighs, does it?

I’d honestly trade most of the above for a texture pass fix on the female legs as a lot of the more detailed textures fail to align properly and the Blood Widow pattern is particularly obvious.

I feel like the tintable options for rocket boots (et al) would make more sense using the secondary color instead of primary. BUT since I imagine some people won't agree on that, I also wonder if you can just include both as an option. Because my black/purple boots look silly in primary purple on my otherwise mostly black power armor, but I need purple FX, not black!

I was hoping for a bit more on the costume front.  It looks like most of the effort was put into the weapons and their backpacks along with those costume overlays which is cool.

Wish those redeemable rewards granted unique costume pieces that we could customize our characters with, not a fan of running around looking like an NPC.  I like the Aeon Legacy gloves better, just the two colors it feels so saturated.  I am glad to have these gloves though and hopefully we get a lot more costume pieces proliferated in the future.

Nice to see this sorted. Now the Tech Knight Staff needs reskinned to match as currently the primary colour option reskins pretty much the entire weapon and the particle effect as the previous Capacitor/Reactor did.

If you set a man a flame, you keep him warm for a day. If you set a man aflame, you keep him warm for the rest of his life.

The "Night Widow" texture for Arachnos Widow costume looks good. It matches up with the in-game Night Widow costume gloss texture. I'm not able to perfectly replicate the shade of gray on the uniform's shoulder pads to match the NPC, but it's a very close match now. Thanks for adding this in.

AH, so the carnival one is already in game, just getting a name change, and its not actually a new texture, thank you.

200,000 inf cost on entering the costume editor.

This increases to 500,000 when changing to one of the other bases like no collar or helm.

I've been studying this gif for a while now and notice there are a few costume parts that currently don't exist together or at all. Such as the widow waist cape with what looks like wolf spider gloves and a knife on the back of the waist. Not to mention the shoulders are not Arachnos either... been trying to see if it were possible to replicate this outfit on display with no luck. I'm not the only one who notice this right?

  • All > Back Detail > Crab Pack:
    • The invalid Arachnos Crab Spider Backpack option should no longer display on non-VEAT characters. Arachnos Soldiers must have chosen a single Crab Spider power once in order to unlock the Crab Pack. This should not change any of the combinations that were previously possible with the backpack on VEATs.

I would immensely love an option to not have the Crab backpack on Crab Spider costumes. On some Crab builds, I'm still just using the Wolf rifle, and only want the Crab for armor. Even with the disphoric blast emission point if using Crab attacks, there are costumes I would rather not have nerfed by a forced back option. Even if this is limited to non-primary costume slots, this would be a major improvement.

Also, with the permanent relocation of Bamboo Kat's Luau in Talos, we need accompanying costume options... Grass skirts, Flowered shirts, Coconut bras with optional straps (Chest detail), and Lei necklaces (Shoulders)... all available for all body types.

Well, other than the knife I would like to request to make the Widow and Arachnos costume parts available to other players. We already have the wolf spider tights and the various special helms. I do understand crab and bane spider costumes not being made combine-able due to the limitations set in the editor and the lack of evidence of their parts being used elsewhere by NPCs outside of the two groups. That's why I'm not going to ask for crab or bane spider costume parts, just widows and wolf spider.

Sorry watching the gif made me rekindle my desire to have more customization with the use of those parts. It was something I've wished for since City of Villains was first released...

Wasn't there an option to have no collar on the NW costume at some point, or am i misremembering?

There was an option to have no collar, however they redesign this option so when you select the no collar option this time, you'll have more access to more cosmetics that would have clashed or clipped with the collar.

Ok.  I was playing with it last night and didnt see a way to remove the collar.  I'll play with it later when i get home.

Thanks

the no collar option is now similar to how you would select wolf spider and bane/crab spider costumes

I love the new patterns added for the costumes, and I love the ability to have rocket boots activate both when jumping and flying, as well as being tintable. I did have an interesting little glitch with the... idk what to even call it, graphics, animation?... of the rocket boots on my test character coming out of a mission. Not sure if it was the major lag spike that caused it, but instead of the jet streams, I had a "pool" of fuzzy mess around my feet. It was easily remedied by detoggling Hover and toggling it back on, but I thought it might be worth mentioning here as well as showing a screenshot of the effect.
