Diantane Posted yesterday at 10:35 AM Posted yesterday at 10:35 AM Instead they "skim" the post. Not reading most of it and trying to formulate a response from very little information and usually get it all wrong. They just read "this" and then "this" and maybe "this" and then reply. Good luck with that. 1

CFIndustries Posted yesterday at 11:22 AM Posted yesterday at 11:22 AM Human nature? Ever send a bulleted or numbered list of issues to a typical support desk and notice they only tackle the first one, maybe the second one? Ever send a longer email to someone and not get any indication they read more than a handful of sentences from it? I changed my entire style of dealing with others via email years ago to accommodate this problem.

Zect Posted yesterday at 11:57 AM Posted yesterday at 11:57 AM I write gigantic posts where necessary, and rarely have trouble with people not reading the whole thing. If what you have to say is truly valuable, people will listen - as for the ones that refuse to, it's their loss, so why should you care?

Having grown up hand milking the cows, running it thru a filter before letting it set in the jar for a day, then skimming off the cream for the butter churn before drinking the milk... All of the stuff sold in the stores was like drinking badly flavored water. Took me nearly 25 years after leaving the farm before I could tolerate even the whole milk. Now old age health issues force me to use the 0% fat stuff. I'm sure this is yet another Nemesis plot! 1 1

You need to compare like for like. Or better yet, enjoy the game and quit worrying about what other people are doing.
