Players have done a great job of deciphering the game’s mechanics and then sharing that info on the wiki. Procs, damage calculations, and how XP is actually calculated. Is there anything left that we need to figure out that’s not currently at the wiki?

And if not, then is there anything else not on the wiki that you’d like to see on the wiki?

Is there a comprehensive list of abbreviations for all the TFs, trials, mission arcs, and other content that people broadcast in LFG, General, and other channels that actually explains what they mean?

Base building listings, at least, could use some love.  I wish your question had dropped two weeks ago while I was struggling with the wiki in this regard.  I probably could have made a list for you of things to address.  Now my old grey cells have forgotten much of it.   As it is, if you look at this page on "Tech" for example, you'll see many pictures missing, and obsolete descriptions referencing the need for prestige.  I seem to recall missing entries in categories as well, though I'm not sure why.  Perhaps they were items added much later to the game.

Also...

Would it be possible for someone with the novels to give a detailed plot/synopsis of each of the novels, with use of spoiler warnings and fields, of course?   The lore from these books has been repeatedly referenced these past 6 years, and the scarcity of the books makes it hard for all players to access that.   There is a wiki page on the novels, but only with the back cover blurbs.    And if there is such a thing as that really rare find, early production notes on the aborted 3rd novel, that would be welcomed as well.

I would love to see all these documented, if they are not already:

And probably the resistance code-speech too.

Trying to make these out and so far I've got:

If emperor Marcus Cole is alive praetoria is safe

Fix all objective clockwork task is optional

If resistance attacks praetoria then clockwork attacks resistance if clockwork attacks resistance then resistance is alive

What I'd like to see may be in there already, but the way it's organized, it's not readily apparent to me. And some of that has to do with the way I play the game only sometimes, for various challenges.

There was a time when a Hellion would drop an arcane type of enhancement. Usually a dual-origin, magic/* or */magic. The problem I am having is for drop-challenge characters that can only kit themselves with drops, not being allowed to spend the precious inf at the store, a vendor or the AH. I know from experience which npcs usually drop what, but if there were a clear list of that, I'd like to see it.

Another thing I'd like to see is, in list format, how many merits each mission or story arc, (including SSAs and TF/SFs) award. I think someone came up with that list here on the forums, and while the wiki will show you if you look up the specific story arc, there's no list from most merits to least merits, as far as I know. Given how the CoH economy is driven by reward merits, I think that would be useful.

The pages at these links should get you most of that info:

https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Hero_Merit_Rewards

https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Villain_Merit_Rewards

You might also find additional info at these pages, but most of their merit reward info should be captured in the above two links.

https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Task_Force

https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Strike_Force

https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Cooperative_Merit_Rewards

https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Trial

I think most of these pages have been vetted for accuracy on HC. I did at least one of them myself.

I forgot one thing that I'd love to see. And it ties in with https://cityofheroes.fandom.com/wiki/Demo_Recording#How_To_Record_A_Demo

Years ago, Bobbo, or Bobby or someone made this video. Even though the song is catchy, I think it's a great way to tell a story. And while I know how to record action in game, I don't know how to make a given character do anything. How to load my character into a file and have it interact with another character could help me tell some pretty goofy stories that AE just doesn't have the ability to display.

It's not exactly intuitive, but the linked page https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Demo_Editing   has tips.  (linking from the current wiki)

There's the understanding Demo Code, etc...   I am not sure if anything has changed with them, but I've managed to playback demos and tried a model swap that worked.

There's a lot of outdated base building information due to the I25 changes that need to updated.  Was planning to do it myself but need to brush up on my wiki coding and I've noticed other small things that need adjusting.
