Macros for the Masses(and keybinds too!)

I'm looking to tie my 'Practiced Brawler' to one of my attack powers, 'Follow Up', as I am using the auto power for Haste. I see posts saying something along these lines are possible, 

 

Can someone show me how to go about doing this please.

The tech guide has everything on all of this. See sig (or shenanigunner.com if you don't see sig lines here). Happy to answer questions as well but it's a bit more than "do this, do that" that fits in a post.

I'd like some macros that will do the following:

Switch my text chat box to "Broadcast" 

Switch my text chat box to "League"  .. etc.

 

I find the little buttons above the chat box that switch to the various chat channels very hard to see, and switch to.

 

Also, if possible, macros that will switch to different tabs in the chat windows would be great.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You will want to use /chat_set in order to select which chat you go to. Note that this will not work for:  Help, LFG, General, Arena, or Mission Architec channels unfortunately (channel were added after chat_set was implemented). You can refer to this wiki article on the available commands and the workaround to the excluded channels.: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Chat_set_(Slash_Command)

 

Swapping tabs is accomplished by /tabselect tabname

Thank you, Devlus! I now have chat selecting macros, some even tabselect!
No more squinting and leaning in to my monitor to switch channels!

Hi, macro help please.

On all my new and under lvl 50 alts I use the following macro's  "/macro LT "optionset disabledrag 1" " and ULT "optionset disabledrag 0" to lock and unlock the powers in the trays.

Makes arranging powers as I train up and get more picks and then relocking them much easier. Just one click to lock or unlock.

I would like to expand these two macro's to include the locking/unlocking of the power trays numbers. Clumsy fingers and mouse control and the very small ring to select that makes it very hard for me.

Can this be done and if so what would be the command for the tray number locking/unlocking please?

On the subject of macros, where/how does one use icons that do not appear in the list of available in-game icons?  I saw someone using this alien figure one in a screen capture over on Reddit and would love to know how to get/use it?  I had thought that only graphics from within the game would work.

It could be a defunct/obsolete/unused icon that is still within the game data, or one could just mod in a custom icon to replace an icon they don't regularly use (in a powerset that no characters use, for instance).

The post had said it was a base entry macro someone from a SG named Interstellar Alliance on Excelsior had posted to the team chat.  It sounds like this is an old icon that still exists in the game.  Is there a list of unused icons somewhere that anyone knows of?

I'm not sure if there's a list posted somewhere, but I just used a pigg viewer and played around with entry macros and every texture file works! I wasn't able to locate that particular one yet, but you can call upon power icons, salvage icons, Clamor's gross safety-pinned leggings texture, etc! I'm going to look through more files and see if I can find the one you're looking for.

you could do something like this.  its a bind not a macro.

 

/bind numpad1 "team_select 1$$powexec_toggleon Ice Shield"

 

When you press 1 on the number pad it will select the first team member.  You sometimes have to hit 1 again to activate the power.  

 

You can replace numpad1 with any key.  Hope this helps
