This is probably my most successful attempt so far at making a Greco-Roman style temple.  Still haven't figured out a way to make a slanted roof long enough with a frieze.  This is from Sparta on Indomitable, SPARTA-3759.

 

 

I will likely redo quite a bit of the Amazon Army base when the new statues go live.  In the meantime I've been joking around a bit.....

I haven't had wifi at my house for like 4 years so I went to my sons house to use his wifi to update my windows and my graphics driver (hotspot too slow).  We played around for a few hours and decided to make a Supergroup just for us with all our alts.  We couldn't come up with a name til we hit upon Tights R Us.  BINGO!  Supergroup made!  Our motto is "Too good to be TRU!"  May seem stupid to some but we snickered our heads off all afternoon!!  Our emblem is the question mark to indicate we don't know what we're doing, although we are both good players (just kidding, I'm good, he plays like his dad.....blaster style.....shhh its a secret).  So far our base is very simple and basic but we got porters to all hero zones....will work on the rest as time allows.  Pic doesn't really show off much, mostly wanted to "show off" our stupid wit and how everyone has to be able to laugh at themselves and that's our forte!  Hope everyone has as much fun as we do 😄

This is a simple base (heh) created for a group of friends who have been around since the beginning or damned close. We have always played with the mindset that if you are not dying you are not trying hard enough.

These are both awesome,  Had a look through the Pingu base earlier.  The air traffic control tower is a nice touch,  Love seeing people building scenes with the NPCs as well.  Just makes the places seem livelier.

I've been trying to "mage up" the invention table in the Sanctum base, too... 

I sort-of low-key hate that all we have by default is a very "techy" table to work with. XP

Still something of a work in progress, but I redid the entrance to the Amazon Army base yet again.  I wanted most importantly to reorient the colonnade along the north south axis, so that when you zone in this is what you see. 

 

And yes, that's Dominatrix.  "Close enough", like my blasters always say.

The only thing I don't like too much about the magic invention tables is that book that I have replacing the computer screen has no back facing as it's an older object meant to be laid flat on a surface, so the tables have to be placed close to a wall to hide that. I know we have newer open book items but the old one is larger and covers the monitor better...

I have been getting my base building skills back and have made two bases.  They are a little ruff but I think I can share them.  They are all on the Excelsior server

My Hero Base is Grant City PD (GRANTCITYPD-6840) the home for my Grant City Rangers Super Group.  The idea of the base is a police station with an SG base in the back.  To skip the police station click on the first picture you find to go to the center of the base.

It is also on Excelisor and this one focus on a night club/casino.  With a hidden base behind.  Tip to find the hidden base by the entrance enter the fire.  Or go behind the DJs.

I was there yesterday, and I was blown away. It's an absolutely perfect medieval castle.  It has everything, a camp for the knights, a high council room for the king's court in the keep, a moat, drawbridges, detailed grounds, ship access, it's absolutely stunning.  I talked one of my friends into making a toon on Torchbearer (we're on Excelsior mostly) just to visit this base; we both love anything medievaly so there wasn't much "talking into" involved.  He'll go see it tonight or this weekend.  Awesome work, KingofMonkeys!

Started working on my new starship the other day. So far I've gotten the outside (mostly) done, and working on decorating the interior. Here are some shots of the outside at the moment:

Once I'm done with the interior and stuff I'm hoping to do a video capture walkthrough of it, since there are about 30 rooms inside the ship, and it'd be a ridiculously long post with pics. 🙂

I hadn't even thought about the Y-wing from Star Wars. 🙂 My initial idea was to base it kind of off the Voyager from Star Trek, with a bit of Klingon mixed in.
