Our portal hub with the passcode conveniently placed up top so when I forget it, I can find it again 😄 Our "Front Office", gives people the impression we're just a standard run of the mill magic group with little or no modern technology, and therefore, not much threat at all. (Will be changing the 'divider' in the back of the room but not sure what I want to do with it yet) My son likes spooky stuff and horror movies so on his half of the base I created a cemetary for him, where we can provide long term care for those foes we may accidentally over-arrest, or for ourselves if we happen to fall in battle. I love poking through this thread getting ideas and using the passcodes to sneak around people's bases and get more ideas! Well I originally wanted to totally rip off the transporter from TNG or Voyager but the editor doesn't have the right kinds of items so I ended up with this. I just RPed that she attend "Our Lady of Perpetual Sorrows" in Kings Row. When Homecoming restored the game to us, with all the upgraded base-building Options, I decided it was time to try my hand as building Our Lady of Perpetual Sorrows on EVERLASTING, and this is how it turned out. Anyone who's helped set up Fellowship Halls for events will recognize the ubiquitous stacked chairs in the back. 😄 There is also a Secretary's Office, Church Library / Meeting room, and small classrooms for Sunday School. More photos in the Dojo photo gallery. Concept is a pagoda nestled in the woods next to a lake. Boats are used as the transport hub to all zones. Workshop is an outdoor forge and hospital facilities are inside the pagoda. There is also a cemetery for the fallen members of the Dojo order. Feel free to drop by and check it out. It turns out the Destroyer ship asset has rooms that you can build inside, for those who don't know. I found this out accidentally about a month ago after trapping someone inside while building (lol). I've been building inside the ship, going for a sunken ship theme. My base's theme is an underwater Arachnos base. The ship is an enemy warship that is partially capsized. Okay, so you've just walked down some hidden steps into what should be underwater but seems to be outer space. Okay. At least the coffee's hot. ...Real hot. What was once a secret Fifth Column facility has been commandeered, folded into its own pocket of localized spacetime, and converted into a working space, living space, relaxing space... ...though the decorative sensibilities are maybe not quite human, as befits the slightly-crazy Kheldian-imprinted cyborg who owns the place and his fellow escapee friends. Naturally, the power draw is immense, and if you get too close to the edges, reality starts breaking down a little bit. It's more impessive in person!
