  1. Took some digging, but I found it. There's some buggyness and stand-in-models here and there (one hilarious one is when a dude just keels over dead for no reason), but, here:
  2. On further mucking about, it's apparently ALL the assault rifle skins 😞
  3. So I was trying to make an AE minion with the Mil Spec Assault rifle. But when i loaded the mission, or reload the characters, their gun changes back to the goofy ass default assault rifle. I tried to force load a costume file onto them, and i got an error, shown in the screenshot. Also, separate but related: the "Load Self" button activates on mouse-over instead of having to be clicked.
  4. Because "f-k you", that's why! But, don't take it personally. And hey, look on the bright side: At least they're not armed with M32 Grenade Launchers. Because then it would be "Because f-k you and everyone around you", and that would just be rude!
  5. I feel like an all-PB team would have a slightly easier time of it all compared to a lot of other "all one AT" runs, because the Fluffy Cupcakes can't target other Nictus for possession. Having to stop and save a teammate or two from instadeath is one thing that slows a lot of runs down, if just by a little.
  6. There's not much stopping them, other than lack of interest, both from them and the players. According to the various Lore AMAs that came out in the years post sundown, the story would have continued on via incarnate content (cue cries of people who are sick of high level and raid missions), as a justification for continuing to make new incarnate abilities and new reward currency for said abilities (cue people sick of new currencies and the widening power gap). Reception of the story details was also mixed (bad guys were basically space vampires iirc?) and involved Cole being released from jail to be the new Statesman to help pull the player's bacon out of the fire. Though the next SSA would have seen Scirocco finally defect from Arachnos (there's already-finished extracted cutscenes on youtube) so that would be nice to see.
  7. Update the "round the world" phase to just go to the sewers and then AE if you want player to re-experience their level up journey =P ...oh wait, Atlas AE got bought out by Longbow. Nevermind =(
  8. Sounds buggy alright. What about the cutscene where Aeon describes the transdimensional doohickey? Was the whole team present in that cutscene? During the final mission itself, were players dying a lot or did they have anything odd happening? Anything you can think of that could be used to reproduce this? ... on second thought, if you CAN repro this, maybe don't spill the beans here, contact a dev or gm instead.
  9. Me. + 7 actually good players to carry my worthless ass =P
  10. I mean, you SAY that, but i PuG'd a 4-star speed run where the leader had us cycling Barrier, and while yes, deaths did happen, it was also the smoothest and fastest HM ITF run I've been on so far. It's efficacy as a tactic borders on OP.
  11. I forget exactly when it was, but I remember someone had posted graphs of NCSoft's revenue streams. And I noticed that CoH was like, only 3% of their profit (whereas Guildwars or whatever was like, 40%). I dared to ask if this meant CoH was on the chopping block. Everyone assured me that profit was profit, and that the 3% still equaled millions of dollars, so everything would be fine. A few months later, the "Sundown" was announced. While we can only speculate NCSoft's motives, and only guess at the accuracy of various rumors, well, let's just say it never felt worse to "be right". =/ Also, 10 years already? Damn we're old!
  12. I've seen tequila remove older versions of itself, and the new shortcut is somewhere else on my desktop. I don't know how clean or cluttered your desktop is, @Troo, but on the off chance you have dozens of icons floating in different spots, maybe double check everything and make sure Tequila didn't land itself next to Hello Kitty Adventure or something?
  13. I nominate Flea for Grand Arbiter! Let he who is flea decide what is best for we!
  14. Just get your characters to level 5 (or maybe 6), and their names will be safe for a year. Afaik the devs don't delete characters.
  15. I know sometimes if you don't disconnect properly, the game still thinks you're logged in. But unless his character was in task force mode, the game should have disconnected the character anyway. I would submit a support ticket so the GMs can check log in history and see if something is going on. You can do that from the forums here, there's a "Support" button up top (or in the mini menu if you're on mobile)
  16. ...in Ba Sing Se? But for real, if we're going to point at HCs problems and say "it's not the best server ", then there's an implication that other servers do these objectively better AND that there IS such a thing as a "best server". If there's truly no such thing as a best server, then, why bring it up at all?
  17. So, which server IS the best server then? If you don't have an answer to that (or if it winds up being HC anyway) then your point, as logical as it may be in general, falls flat on its face.
  18. Something I just thought of: instead of specific objects having a specific function, allow the function to be imprinted onto any object. In plainer parlance: let me turn a barrel into a storage bin. A door into a tailor. A counter into a workbench. They would retain their apperances, but would preclude the need to hide NPCs behind geometry, doing weird gymnastics with the insanely large functional items to "camoflauge" them, and would save on object counts. My 2 inf, anyway.
  19. I voted roads. It's the number 1 thing keeping me from finishing my base, because i don't feel like laying down hundreds of tiny charcoal tiles (the silo stand thing doesn't work for me with those dusty lines on the edges). Along that note, cityscape peices like buildings and stuff.
  20. Oh, I'm definitely in the "sell now" camp. Prices will only drop as supply moves to meet demand. Badgers, like me, of course will want a bunch, but I'm willing to be patient on that goal, as immediate profit is more enticing. Some crazy folks, like @Voltor, who wants all the badges on each AT, may or may not be as patient. And while most RPers probably have thier eye on one or two specific costumes, I'm sure there are some "completionists" out there who are going to bloat their inventory and get every single one. And I don't doubt that there isn't some crossover happening here (like a badging marketer or three with 100billion+ inf to burn who want ALL THE THINGS) And so unless all these folks run HM content until they barf, I think demand will outpace supply for a fair while, though obviously not going for 100M a piece. Seriously, who did that?! XD
  21. Don't have the costume badges yet (because lol @ 100mil a piece, and LOL at having to die in the ITF a dozen times in 2 hours just to get enough for one costume), but, I think I've got everything else...
  22. Will be a while before I get the costume badges, because, LOL at the particles being 100Mil right now, but, for now, got everything else... Also, what's next, Devs? Gonna give Voltor a badge? What about ME, huh?! =P Anyway...
  23. The lore of the well and gaining incarnate powers does have issues (like how the "slow path to power" is just a few hours of farming, and how the Well is granting you power because it needs strong fighters but then wants you to have to earn it...yeah ok, be stingy, have fun getting eaten, jerk!), but I'm also surprised by how many people reject it outright, like they're offended that changes to the game world and mechanics would dare affect their characters! Some of y'all take your characters' backstories and your own creativity WAY too seriously. But whatevs.
  24. Oh, wow, I clicked here thinking this was... uhm... something else.
