I agree with @Yomo Kimyata's basic point: we need moar stuff to buy and sell. We used to have that, but HC got rid of temp power recipes and put them all on F2W. Which is just as well, they either sold at vendortrash prices, or were hillariously understocked. So then, what else could we sell? How about a new breed of IO that needs Dayjob Salvage to craft. Dayjob Salvage would be just what it sounds like: an item you get for X time logged out at a DJ location (my thinking is about a week?). The new IOs would need DJ salvage from 3 locations, so you'd either have to spend 3 weeks just to craft one IO, OOOOORRR you could just use the market to get the ones you need... or just buy the IO at a markup. The big downside of that is it would just make things more complicated (also Dev time to create the new IOs and salvage), but it would certainly shake things up!

Display bugs aside, the only issue I have is that everything is either a) expensive or b) (essentially) vendor trash. It's hard to make a decent profit on anything that isn't a purple or a special proc/unique, so you kinda have to play converter roulette if you want to make some extra scratch. Is this really sustainable, only having a few dozen items (out of tens of thousands) that sell well? My solution to this issue is elegant and simple: everyone gimme your monies plz!

So, basically he ended the mission and you got kicked out of the instance, and you had tried to use LRTP, consuming the use but not actually teleporting to IP, is that right? Usually, if you use LRTP and dont manage to click anything (or accidentally dismiss it), you should get a "second chance" power. If this didn't happen, you should post a bug report!

Just a reminder, in case others find this thread down the line: one of the badges, Unabashed, is inaccessible until the shield over the mothership comes down. However, this badge is ALSO available in the instanced version of the mothership raid, so as long as you join either type of MSR, you should be able to snag it!

You might have to increase the in-options slider to 200% before vis_scale 4 (or higher) will take effect? Can you take a screenshot of what you can see?

Welcome home! The thing you may want to do first is check out the "P2W" vendor. There's one in each starting zone, as well as the Galacy City tutorial. They give out a few freebies that on Live that were purchasable with Paragon Points, like Sands of Mu, Nemesis Staff, Prestige Sprints, Ninja Run, etc. They'll make the starting levels a bit more bearable! I would advise AGAINST using XP boosters for your first toon. A good amount of content exists in the early levels, and re-learning how to play cantl't be overstated! And more pragmatically, using XP Boosters reduces your influence gain, and you dont wanna be level.20 but broke!

Get a pocket Kin (or hope one is at the ski chalet) and have them use Inertial Reduction on you. Jump speed and control are actually the most important things to have when doing the slopes. Use the mouse to steer, and know when you need to jump or turn before you have to. Having to constantly course correct on the fly is what messes up most runs!

@tidge Challenge accepted! So having the CC proc in Confuse is fine. HOWEVER, the whole SET is wasted in that power. The set gives a LOT of recharge, which a) would suite MassComedy much better, and b) completely floors the chance of the proc going off in a single target, quick recharging power like Confuse. If you really want the CC proc to be viable in Confuse, you'll have to make sure the power isn't enhanced for Recharge, which probably means avoiding putting any set in there at all.
