  1. Shilling the Guide Index. Is there a list of tags anywhere? The scan by alphabet/auto-fill really only works if you know what your looking for, so it helps to have a full reference.
  2. I'm glad to see this, Sunsette's guide is all the Sentinel has right now. Though the only other AT guide here is for Invulnerability Tankers.
  3. 4. Tanker goes in the close door and right is the "default" turn. Back door for the anyone that feels squishy. 5. Because when there's a fire, you must take the stairs.
  4. I have the oddest urge to make a Sentinel that only takes one primary power all of a sudden.
  5. He ain't called Post Kount for nuttin'!
  6. Lancer shot will be auto spread Disintegrate soontm. And I actively dislike Offensive Opportunity, its useless on damn near anything short of an AV. Things pop in a half a tick without it. It just eats the endurance help Defensive Opportunity gives. If you can get an attack chain that works without Single Shot, more power to you. I'm not yet slotted with enough recharge to ditch it without overusing Area attacks. But some day. Some day.
  7. A bit off topic. But I was browsing through this again and man.. That bolded line really tugged at my heart strings. I am glad to have the game back, but it is still something else to think about where it'd be today if it was never shuttered. On the plus side, closing it meant NCSoft didn't get to ruin it with microtransactions and pay to win horse crap. They were on the way, but it died before they made it a skinner box like all the rest. We may not have such fond feelings if that had happened. Buuuut. We do need that moonbase. :D
  8. Ah, wondering about the drop rates of purples is back too. Of all the CoH memes, I've missed you least of all.
  9. I believe it was going to be a co-op zone focused on The Coming Stormtm. These days its used for the one finished trial, Market Crash, and for costume contests without the Atlas Lag. (Since noobs can take a train there and not get one shot by anything.)
  10. Way, way back in the Stone Armor Age when the game launched people were complaining that they wanted to make taller characters. In typical Cryptic fashion, they responded by changing the scale on the costume UI to max out at 8 feet instead of 7 and changed nothing else. In other words Ms. Liberty isn't that tall, you've been lied to.
  11. Try /bind w "forward$$powexec_name Accelerate Metabolism" /bind a "left$$powexec_name Hasten" Or /bind w "forward$$powexec_auto Accelerate Metabolism" /bind a "left$$powexec_auto Hasten" But be forewarned, you need to know how to change it back (/bind w "forward" probably. Maybe.) and walking might make that annoying "power not recharged" womp. Reference the old Guide to Guides too. Let me know if it womps out for you.
  12. The big loss from moving to Soul is Dark Consumption. Big enough that I'm going to get more IO sets before making the swap. Once Chronoshift is near perma and Boosted to boot, I doubt I'll be missing it. Both sets have Soul Drain, so the damage boost is unchanged, as is the armor. One also loses Oppressive Gloom access (And Soul Transfer), but I'd consider access to Soul Storm or Summon Mistress more than a fair trade.
  13. You monster. What will the poor "everyone else on the team" do? Steamroller everything, probably. ;D
  14. Having just run an ITF with a kickass Time Defender (And finally hit 50 on my Time/DP), Power Boost is stupidly good on Farsight. 50% more defense, and to hit, making Power Boost functionally count as a fairly strong defense buff on its own. It was a convincing display of Defendery OPness, I'll be off to convince Ghost Widow that I'm totally a Destined One. Scout's honor! Just don't ask Kaaa... linda.
  15. Soooo tempted to drop in a Vizzini GIF or meme, but I'm stuck at work... :P I dangled the bait and you just can't bite...you know what that is...it's inconceivable You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
  16. The bar goes away after the TF, but the Temp remains. I kept one yesterday.
  17. It certainly started as a goof. But some goofs may not have gotten that memo. So become a Squidranger. You can find them wherever someone says "No Warshades." No Brutes. ;D
  18. It does indeed. Which makes the running behavior especially common when they're agro'd on a flying PC. Tack on -rech and its Usain Bolt time. Then their attack recharges, they run back. Chuck a rock, faff about, then flee again when the timer runs out and they can't attack. Repeat. Taunt shifts the AI to a different path which ends the bad comedy. Might be nice if they could add a line to have them check if they can attack a ground target, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Its Yakkity Sax forever, so get an Immobilize.
  19. Null seems to be context sensitive, you only get the option to rid yourself of a bar your character can currently invoke. Without Mystic Flight or Bright Nova or its ilk, the option doesn't appear in Null's menu. I have no idea of you can use him to get rid of the pop up bars from temporary powers like from Summer Blockbuster.
  20. Unclean! Unclean! ;D
  21. Did anyone hit "Not being owned by NCSoft" yet? Because they did that better, and in the end that's all that mattered.
  22. YESSSS!!! Parity with Eclipse?!
  23. This is a link to all the archived guides on the subject matter. I don't see any reason it shouldn't be possible, but it would be far, far more complex than a sound file swap. But I'm just a guy with a link, so read up until and expert spawns in.
  24. I think there were three versions... Are you counting the bug where the fog was absent from the OG version for a while? I prefer the original. Though would have liked it with less fog (but not none), so I didn't feel so reliant on the map to orient myself. Or at least a few noteworthy landmarks other than the graveyard. Though it is an interesting transition from early Miskatonic spookshow to "the stars are right" vibes between both versions. Its an escalation from one scale of Lovecraftian horror to another. Would be interesting to have an Echo "Light" Astoria to see it before the fog to really get a sense of tragedy. Double bonus for establishing more personality for doomed characters.
  25. O, I'll look at that. Edit: Fixed. I hope.
