  1. I am fascinated by that. I suppose RPers would use it too. And obviously different pets would need different responses. Not sure about Beasts.
  2. There are 5 AE badges that are linked to your account that one you've earned them each character will get them on creation.
  3. There are lots of diversions before that but that is a major one. For instance Nemesis never becomes Nemesis and dies as an old clock maker. So to use graph analogy, there isn't so much one major break point as lots of spikes of different sizes along the timeline.
  4. In a world of super intelligent beings you could have had 5G in 1990.
  5. I've already submitted my entry for that I'm afraid. Nice idea though!
  6. Time travel villains: "Sure, we'll get you to safety now that Lord Recluse has taken over...ahem."
  7. Well then, things are live so here's my entry. Three Sisters Arc id 43013 "A gold leaf embossed invitation arrives, cordially asking you to meet a Mr. John Spreadbury III in the Kings Tower Consolidated building. Holding the paper you can feel a gentle compulsion to attend this meeting. Just to satisfy your curiosity of course. That and the promise of a large fee. [SFMA] Rogue. Levels 50 -54."
  8. That's what they ARE Doing. Like I said above, we don't know how far along they're advancing the timeline from 2012 but it is advancing.
  9. There's an assumption inherent here that it is 2021 in Paragon. Is it though? Personally I wouldn't advance the in world calendar by that many years at all. Five at the most perhaps. I think having it set "in the past" could give the current tiny Dev team a bit of breathing room on "filling in" the best part of a decade.
  10. Less is more. The brain is the part where most sexual activity originates, and we already have EXPOSED BRAINS. Job done.
  11. Imagine all of the refugees leaving at roughly the same time, whether Loyalist or Resistance, and - cue handwaving - the Rift doesn't send you all to the same point in time on the other side. It's not actually like that but I think that helps. It's slightly analogous to Captain America's origin story (Steve Rogers). He's always born in 1918 and always fights through WW2 and then goes into the ice. WHEN he comes out? That can be extended and rebooted but the first part is static.
  12. There's a way out of this and it's Stefan Richter/Lord Recluse. One of his drives is NOT being subservient to the Well, hence his quest for other equally tangible power levels and sources. The Well itself equally describes him as a failure. But that's only according to ITS rules. Head canon says Recluse is either on the right track or has succeeded. If he has then, like many a thing, once it's been done then it can be replicated, in whatever way. That ties in to my notions elsewhere that Recluse is aware of himself (for lack of a better phrase) not being "end game content", especially after the Praetorian War. That would I think drive him further to re-establish his dominance and gain the extra power needed. He knows, for instance, that Emperor Cole is sitting in a prison "depowered", but that alternate of his old frenemy remains a threat. The Well in its "wisdom" called him a failure. It was wrong. I'm not suggesting an "Incarnate Version of Patron Powers" via Recluse, no. Just that the path to getting them be diversified. If that WAS by going through him, or a la VEATs stealing the information, then fine. Heroes doing it? There's always a way. The irony of all this is that unlike those who follow his research/path, Recluse IS tied to the Well.
  13. Not enough of us 24 carat Golds out there! (Shameless plug time! Check sig for 2 trilogies of AE Gold arcs (1 Loyalist and 1 Resistance) set just after Neutropolis but before the Rift Mission/First Ward)
  14. Oh excellent! Only caveat is: If you started off as Resistance Praetorian and went all the way through then there's a chance that Calvin Scott simply isn't there for you to check stuff. Sometimes he is - just checked that - but it may depend on the "when" of the ouro arc. Curiously Crow is nearly always missing if you've done his arc, no matter when you flash back.
  15. AWESOME! What shard are you on? And if it's the same as me, doh, sorry!
  16. You don't need to be the same level for the Explore tips though.
  17. Are you fighting in a zone your own level? That's pretty much how they drop.
  18. Update! Just tested this with a Bluesider. As long as you are doing a Loyalist arc you can access the Loyalist lounge. Not fine-tuned it yet regarding in mission checks.
  19. Using ouro you CAN check in with your Loyalist contacts if you go to the Loyalist Lounge in person. Marchand is always there. There's difficulty doing that with Resistance and Scott because if you get to a certain point then even if you go in person he is gone. Now, the trouble is if you're a Blue sider doing Loyalist stuff, you're not getting in to the Lounge.* *Update below.
  20. It is what it is. And there we are. Any idea when we see the update to HC for the fast tracked Cimerora stuff? I have reasons! (Slightly off topic there)
