  1. That slotting looks mostly fine, though I'd suggest prioritizing end reduction and accuracy, followed by damage, in OD. The recharge/global heal proc serves little benefit being slotted in that power (other than the global), and would be better utilized as part of the second 3 set in a skill like Sunless Mire.
  2. My Quasar slotting is 5 set Armageddon with the proc and KD conversion, so the proc adds another 3% to its own total as well. For content where the KB is irrelevant, I'm considering swapping the Arma proc into OD, since Eradication underperforms there in a lot of testing. It will almost certainly contribute more in a skill that is more often used.
  3. I don't consider dwarf drain to be a worthwhile attack in the chain either, and I don't slot it or use it as such. And I'm not sure what everyone considers to be worthwhile when considering what percentage of their total damage a skill must contribute, but here's a quick Trapdoor run at +4/8. Incarnates: Intuition radial, Musc radial, Ion radial Toggles: Orbiting death at 33% acc and 117% damage boost, respectively, + 3 procs, and Tactics Parser: Cyclops A very target rich Arachnos mission with several meaty bosses and an EB at the end, though takes under 10 minutes to complete. As you can see in the first image, Orbiting Death sits comfortably high in the total damage output ranking, among the other aoe heavy lifters, doing about 5% of my total damage. And yes, obviously its accuracy is terribly low compared to every other attack, which I should mention are all heavily proc slotted, not significantly slotted for accuracy, yet perform just fine. Ah, but that's OD by itself. Here's how it looks when you merge its line with the 3 procs slotted into it. Obliteration, Scirocco's and Eradication activated 39, 39 and 32 times, respectively. Now the percentage of damage that OD has contributed, all in, is 10%, with Quasar being the only skill still edging it out. I, personally, find that to be a worthwhile contribution that shuffling 5 slots and 1 power pick off into something else would have a difficult time matching.
  4. It's really, really fun! It has solid AoE from Frost and Frozen Aura, on top of being quite sturdy and offering soft CC tools. Highly recommend.
  5. I am really wishing I had room for it in my ice/ice build.
  6. Well step 1, if you want cold, hard data to agonize over, would be to install and use Cyclops on your game logs, https://github.com/PaulBenHill/cyclops. This will give you a breakdown of the damage you do in a given combat session, and by which skills (and procs). I will say that during my (admittedly lazy and often unbothered) recent bouts of play on my Warshade, Orbitting Death, which I have slotted with 3 pieces Superior Essence Transfer and 3 damage procs, sat very close to the top of the total damage list, behind Nova Det but ahead of Dwarf Mire. Mind you, this is without counting its proc damage, which always appears separate in the log and the parse table. The only proc it has that isn't also slotted in DMire is Scirocco's. When I merge OD damage with Scirocco's total damage in the parse table, their combination alone put them at the top of my total damage list. This is obviously one person's limited experience. It was a target rich environment, but not a hardmode or anything. YMMV, but my bottom line is I would absolutely not consider robbing the practically free, passive and substantial damage (potential) from OD to give to Gravity Well, which is a very deprecated skill in the current infinity meta due to its slow activation time. There are other choices that I've made with my build that go against the grain, but I'll let some others chime in here now.
  7. Some questions and then I will offer some ideas. Does she have to remain beautiful/flawless? Does she have to keep hair? Does she take on any animal/insect/reptile/plant characteristics with this transformation?
  8. Only the range at which you can cast an ability can get boosted. Nothing enhances aoe radii other than playing a Tanker.
  9. Yes, they are separate and they stack, but only up to your damage cap, which is laughably low. Fulcrum Shift is capable of capping your damage without Assault even being active, hence the double hit remaining more valuable as a source of extra damage in those instances.
  10. That is correct. If you run these toggles in human form and switch to nova or dwarf, they will suppress, remaining active if you switch back to human, but provide no benefit. Only team buffs from others, your own short duration buffs, and incarnate powers provide any benefit while shapeshifted.
  11. The takeaway I'm gleaning seems to be that, by default the T key toggles on or off the display of your target window, N hides/displays the player health window I think? M toggles the map window and I don't remember what C toggles since I always quickly rebind it for teleports. Hitting these by accident can be confusing if you're not familiar with all the shortcuts, and can lead to distress in combat, for example. They suggest rebinding these keys to things like the kheldian form abilities instead.
  12. This is a great breakdown and it's hard to go wrong with these choices, I just wanted to add a few details not apparent to someone new to the incarnate system. Alpha: An argument can be made for Intuition Radial in this slot. It also boosts damage, as well as improving range and defense debuffs by 20%. All of our attacks debuff defense - not by a lot, and it's not as valuable as, say, to-hit or resist debuffs, but they're there, and any boost can't hurt. Boosted range will of course affect all ranged skills, but in particular it makes Nova Emanation and Dwart Antagonize reach more targets, which is good! If, however, you find yourself wanting for endurance quite often, and/or you travel on foot rather than flying, Musculature Radial is the better bet. Hybrid: Make sure you select Assault Radial here, not Core. The double hit function of radial will continue to be valuable even when you are at the damage cap (easily reached when teaming with a kin, and sometimes nature.
  13. I'm using the browser, directing it to an existing log file. Cyclops throws multiple lines of this, and the browser switches to a page that looks like I have no internet connection: Latest Request: "J:\\Homecoming\\accounts\\XX\\Logs\\chatlog 2024-07-09.txt" File opened for processing: J:\Homecoming\accounts\XX\Logs\chatlog 2024-07-09.txt Line count: 14505, Data point count: 14505 Matching and conversion done. thread 'actix-rt|system:0|arbiter:9' panicked at src\db_actions.rs:647:10: Error saving new summary: DatabaseError(Unknown, "no such table: summary") It does this regardless if there's any files in the output directory.
  14. I was getting these errors as well. I had to clean out the output folder from a previous test run in order for it to stop throwing that error. After directing it to any log file, though, it got to the end and threw this: thread 'actix-rt|system:0|arbiter:16' panicked at src\db_actions.rs:647:10: Error saving new summary: DatabaseError(Unknown, "no such table: summary") Any ideas, @KaizenSoze?
  15. There isn't anything to learn when attempting to play a Human only PB, particularly at low levels. It has no mechanics, gimmicks or need for macros because it is a neutered, hollowed out, poorly hybridized third of an archetype. Nobody here with advice worth heeding would recommend leveling up without nova or dwarf form abilities, though once you are 50 you *can* build a serviceable human. Please consider reading Laucianna's guide, linked in her signature one post up, to understand where the strengths of this class lie, and don't cheat yourself out of the vast majority of its benefits in the early game where, arguably, it can shine brighter than many other archetypes.
  16. Got a build file for this? The chunk won't import at all for me.
  17. I personally think releasing a name that would probably be very desirable to a lot of players as a reward for a costume contest is a great idea, and wish someone had thought of it sooner! It is an unfortunate fact that players are going to hoard names indefinitely in this game, since the name releasing mechanism doesn't exactly appear imminent. Hosting this contest doesn't change that fact one way or another. It could be an interesting opportunity to expand the "prize pool", however. "Donating" an unused, saved name is certainly a different kind of generosity than donating millions of influence to a contest. I bet there are more folks who would come forward and put a reserved name in the pot if this got enough traction. Perhaps multiple names become up for grabs! First place gets to pick their favorite, then second, then third, and so on. The donor gets their shout-out just like the inf donors typically do. It's a win all around 🙂
  18. Judging from what you've posted so far @Neiska, I think you may find the most effective playstyle that a fully engaged PB can offer too daunting/annoying, but it depends on the level of fun you might experience while playing. That's perfectly ok, as not every AT suits every player. If you wanted to build a quite durable scrapper, sentinel or blaster that sort of had a similar vibe to playing a PB or WS, you could do so. Their damage would be better, their focus more narrow, and the visual noise of form swapping would be removed. If you still chose to pursue playing a HEAT, I think you will need to truly understand that there isn't really a "focusing on 1 or 2 forms" mindset. You are all 3 forms at all times, that is, if you truly want to embrace the full hybrid nature of the AT. For example, unless you are your party's only tank, and every other squishy is going to melt should you not be taunting every 5 seconds, you shouldn't consider "sitting" in dwarf form and only using dwarf form attacks to be a viable method of prolonged gameplay. It simply isn't its own well-rounded character. Sure, you'll be sturdy and can punch things, but it only takes a split second for a mob to exit your reach, taunted or not. You need to be comfortable swapping to human or nova quickly when the occasion requires ranged attacks (and AoE), because that power is baked into the playstyle, and you will be more effective in combat because of it. Human form does have, by and large, more buffs and attacks available to use, but generally the dwarf/nova attacks are going to better in almost every way. If you tend to solo, you need to be able to clear mobs quickly, while being durable enough to absorb all of the damage they fire back. This is why the most powerful and recent builds, for PB in particular, de-emphasize human form attacks in favor of dwarf/nova attacks. And this is why recharge is so vital to stack for both HEATs, so that Eclipse or Light Form is effectively permanent. As others who choose not to play the fastest changeling style builds have stated, it's possible to play and enjoy playing without swapping forms as fast as folks like @Laucianna do. You certainly don't have to play that way while leveling up and learning the AT either. It's just a matter of accepting the fact that the ceiling is higher vs. most other AT's, and you will get out what you put into it. Good luck!
  19. If you are open to requests, I would love a mod that drastically reduces the volume of Peacebringer form toggles and Light Form, or alters their sounds to be more slick and whispery.
  20. /macro SAP target_custom_next enemy alive sapper OR /bind C "target_custom_next enemy alive sapper" - make C any key or combination of keys you like Slap macro when fighting Malta. Hit Sapper really, really hard. Problem solved!
  21. If you just save the build to a file on your PC from the file menu, you can then attach it to your post here. Don't use the export feature.
  22. Edit: Apologies I attached my bi-form PB build instead of human form. While avoiding any dip into dwarf form on a PB is much more playable than WS, I'd still find it hard to make myself play at this point. Will have to dig around my build vault to find my real human build. Renamed my bi-form build and reuploaded for posterity. - Medianly expensive but not the worst out there. - Slotted for a few extra hp bonuses, enough recharge for perma Light Form, a cursory buffer of defense, plugging the Psi hole, and slow debuff resistance. - Using the best skills from dwarf without a lot of slot or power bloat. Bi-form PB.mbd
  23. I don't think that is a bad idea at all. Consolidating recent, working builds into one thread that can be shared with one link will create a strong beacon to steer toward for new and old players alike. And if build posters were kind enough to include some details about their build, like expensive vs. budget, playstyle, certain skill choices, all the better, let's do it!
