  1. I don't see what makes this an Ancillary Power Pool rather than just giving Kheldians more options for their existing power sets.
  2. That's because they changed the way the code worked *JUST* for hamidon enhancements. Defense Debuffs are Schedule A and Defense buffs are schedule B, but they're essentially the exact same enhancements, so people were able to get much better enhancement bonuses in defense powers by slotting Enzymes. So they developed code for hamidon enhancements so that it would only provide the enhancement bonuses that the power could be slotted for.
  3. So, as I recall, link minds does not take recharge enhancements, so Hamidon recharge enhancements and the alpha slot will not improve its recharge, but Link Minds will get the recharge reduction enhancement bonuses from invention sets it can slot. So Luck of the Gambler: Defense/Recharge and Adjusted Targeting: Recharge should both work to reduce the recharge on Link Minds.
  4. What's the confusion? About one times in ten, through absolutely no fault of your own, you're going to end up with form 8937c stapled to your inner thigh. There's no shame in it, it happens to everyone. This is not a problem that can be eliminated, but if we're all careful, we can make it much less common.
  5. I am only talking about form 8937c. It should never consist of more than five pages, 75gsm to 90gsm, and 80 to 98 bright. If you've printed the form out on heavier paper, we're not accepting it. If you've got more than five pages, we're not accepting it. We are not having this argument again Clave. You are not allowed to unilaterally declare a schism and say you're a Northwestern Richter Annex Worker, the employee handbook still applies to you and NO ONE recognizes your edition.
  6. Good point. Also, Forms 1053B and 9166a do still need to be stapled to your inner thighs, though you can submit form 1020s if you'd like to request the use of alligator clips or safety pins instead.
  7. But most accidents happen at home! Never go home.
  8. 1) You have a desk, put the form on your desk before stapling it. 2) For the love of cheese, stop using a pneumatic stapler to do it! No, the hammer tacker is not a significantly better option. You should never need anything more than a heavy duty stapler, but most of the time, a mini-staple will suffice. 3) Do not use a paper clincher. It's tempting use a method that doesn't involve staples at all, but this would be a violation of company policy. 4) Check to make sure your work surface is clean and entirely clear of your legs. If you are sitting on your desk, find a chair or make sure to be standing before trying to staple anything. Thank you for your time and I hope to see a lot fewer blood stains on form 8937c.
  9. I agree that I'd like to keep Phalanx Fighting if possible (losing the defense works for Stalkers because hide is better), but it'd be nice if the range was more than eight feet.
  10. Alternatively, they might take the Stalker set (which loses Phalanx fighting) put [Durability] in place of Hide, and turn Shield Charge into Shield Press, which you use to knock enemies out of melee range.
  11. Yeah. I think Shield Charge would probably be replaced with an Endurance power like Durability. It'd be cool.
  12. What the hell are you doing rescuing any heroes? Any vampire worth his salt should be deceived into getting bound away forever with a demon in the power system of Cap Au Diable.
  13. Can Peacebringers do the Tutorial now?
  14. Okay, I managed to read that as Quad-Epee and was thinking that this would be another thread asking for Dual Bow sets and Dual Dual Blade sets. Which... Sure. I want Two-Thousand Cuts.
  15. They are, but the way it was done with shield defense for tankers was "If you take Shield Defense you can't take Nimble Slash" So when they opened up Power Slice at level 1, there was a period on test when you could make a Shield Defense/Dual Blades character. You could only ever take one of the first two tanker powers, so you either miss out on Ranged and AoE defense or Melee Defense and Smashing/Lethal resistance, but it was possible to create them and see what the animations were like. Blinding Feint looks a bit like a left handed Soul Drain, you kind of bring your shield arm in and then get a build-up flash. If I knew how to screen record, I'd try to get a video sample of the animations.
  16. It's not that, it's just that the Sky Raiders and Freakshow steal any car with electronics more advanced than a radio. That's also why none of the cars in Paragon have air conditioning (every freakshow tank has built-in HVAC)
  17. Oh, that was a lovely change I noticed in Brickstown during my exploration badge run: They cleared out almost all the aggro on sight enemies on the path from the Hospital to the tram, almost everything is yellow bordered there now. The exception was some freakshow on the bridge overlooking the tram, but those were engaged against some PPD. Talos Hospital is not quite as friendly. If you're trying to get there from the tram, the block around the hillside has a number of level 24ish enemies to dodge.
  18. I was able to create a Shield Defense/Dual Blades tanker on test when they changed the power attainment levels and the weirdest animation is Blinding Feint.
  19. Oh, I just did this with a level 4, where I tried to get an exploration badge in every zone without using any power but sprint. I think the hardest zone was the Cascades? I had to use something like three jump jets to get to the badge.
  20. It sounds like you haven't read the Code of Conduct.
  21. The posting of what they're playing isn't terribly annoying, since is isn't very frequent. (Though, if I was listening to Apollo 18 on shuffle and posted everything that popped up from Finger tips, I think that would get on people's nerves) but I understand why people find it annoying when the person posting the playlist is just doing that and not really participating in conversation in any other manner. A shared playlist can be fun, it's an attempt to bring the community together in a way, and Paragon Radio was fun at times, especially since it was a way to get introduced to new music (outside of playing Rock Band). But when I'm actually doing stuff it is hard to search for a song, find a version, start playing it, and go back to missions.
  22. Machete, Tough Skin, and Robust Constitution are all helpful in field combat, but I think that a hoe, sickle, shovel, or plow would be a lot more helpful than a knife and pilum.
  23. It's nice, Socrates, but that's a hypothetical dialogue, not a rant.
  24. This is a question. A one sentence question. I don't think you know what a rant is. I came in here expecting at least three paragraphs, but you just ask a simple question that's been answered dozens of times in the Market and Guides forums. It's almost like ranting is a lost art; gone to the americans. Express an opinion. Tell us how much you hate that big sea gulls get all the food. Complain about soggy french fries and how they'd be better if people double fried them to be extra-crispy. Go on a tirade about how there's a co-operative task force to protect Wentworths, but there really needs to be a Strike Force to rob it. Something. You have shamed the word rant. I turn my back to you.
  25. There are a couple missions in Neutropolis that I remember getting different mission objectives from calling in, on both sides. And when you're talking to Merchand on the Crusader arc, I recall him giving you a different option that's less murderous.
