  1. Once you get Kriegsmann to 50 you might want to check out Warhammer 40k: Darktide. It's a fun FPS that does a great job with the WH:40k mood and aesthetic.
  2. My main is an Invuln/EM Tank. I've also made a version that's an EM/Invuln Scrapper. Both are very fun and I can team or solo with both. I'd say that if you're primarily going to team, and you like tanking, then make the tank. Otherwise make a Scrapper. And, once you have all of your Invuln powers, plus Tough and Weave, and some set IOs, your Invuln Scrapper can also be a taunt-less off tank.
  3. You know... they have 2XP and 1.5XP items at the P2W vendor. I wonder how difficult it'd be for the developers to add a 1/2 XP item to the P2W vendor.
  4. If you park in a spot that accumulates credit for a different Day Job badge doesn't it prevent one from getting Patrol XP? I know that it used to. I would park my characters in a hospital, or in Pocket D, and I didn't accumulate Patrol XP.
  5. Playing a Mayhem mission is what convinced me to buy City of Villains in the first place! This was back before they were combined so I had to purchase City of Heroes separately.
  6. Serious question: Do you really need to block 250 people? Also, you do realize that this mod already exists. It's called Discord. You can set up a server which allows you to communicate with and/or block far more than 250 people.
  7. Type "City of Heroes license" into Google and read the articles. Don't you think that the Circle of Twelve has more important things to do than to post the results of a simple Google search for you? I don't mean to be a jerk, but do you not have Google in your country?
  8. 1) US Congressmen 2) The US Congress 3) Puerile basically means silly and childish, and he's not wrong. Imagine that you create a cartoon and then watch helplessly as Disney steals it from you, because they have 1 million times your marketing budget, and there are no copyright and trademark laws to stop them. Copyright and trademark laws stop this from happening. Sure they've gone too far, no one disagrees with that, except for Disney's lawyers, but they are a necessary part of an advanced civilization.
  9. Yes, well that's certainly one interpretation of it. What the Supreme Court actually ruled is that "people do not lose their rights simply because they have formed, or are part of, a group, organization, or incorporation." If you want to interpret that as "corporations are people" then you can, I suppose. Personally I reject comedian Stephen Colbert's interpretation of the Supreme Court's ruling. I think it's an oversimplification of the situation that's meant to either be comedic or insulting to people who disagree with his point of view.
  10. They're probably working at other companies and living in their own houses with their spouses and children. You can actually verify that with most of them using Linkedin. Projecting your life experience on others just doesn't make any sense.
  11. What's really weird is that he actually edited his post to add in calling me a noob, not sure what the point behind that was. And his choice of insult just makes no sense. I'm in my 50's and I've been playing City of Heroes since 2006. So, the term noob literally doesn't apply to me in any way. I'd report his post except that: 1) I don't know how to get offended and, 2) I'm too confused to be angry.
  12. The Circle of Twelve. I like it! Got a ring to it. Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaa... er I mean, lol.
  13. Congratulations! Wow, 2024 is off to a great start. Since you're adding more members to the Council of Thirteen what do I call you now? The Council of Seventeen? The Council of Nineteen? The City Council just doesn't sound conspiratorial enough for me. 😁
  14. I know for a fact that at least one former Cryptic dev has posted on the Homecoming forums. I remember his non-dev forum name from the retail forums and I've seen that name here on the Homecoming forums. Also, Bree from MoP made a statement in one of their podcasts that heavily implied that at least some of the Council of Thirteen are former CoH devs. And no, I'm not going to post the links. The last time I did I was attacked by the DDL and then a mod locked the thread.
  15. I like most of Zack Snyder's stuff and I was really hoping that Rebel Moon was going to be good. ... sigh ...
  16. I've seen multiple articles saying that the studio has reviews embargoed until the day it goes to theaters. That's a bad sign. Every time a studio puts a review embargo on a movie it's turned out to be a horrible movie. I hope I'm wrong. We've already had enough bad superhero movies. I'm worried they'll wreak the genre so badly Hollywood will never make a superhero movie for the rest of my life. Bottom line, if your movie's great you want people talking about it. If it's not, you suppress PR and reviews so that people will watch it without having heard anything bad about it.
  17. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom comes out in 2 days, on Saturday December 22nd. And I was shocked that I couldn't find a thread about it. So are you planning on watching it? In theater or on streaming service?
  18. It depends on the character archetype (class), how often you'll be teamed or solo, and what your goal with the character is. Anything else would just be me listing my personal preferences. Why would you care about which power sets I like playing?
  19. From the wiki page on the Fifth Column: "The Fifth Column has the nefarious distinction of actually triggering the United States' involvement in the war against Nazi Germany. Hitler first sent the covert super team to Paragon City in 1939, tasked with spying on and sabotaging US shipping and naval development. In 1941, as the navy's Atlantic Fleet mustered in Paragon Harbor with a convoy of supply vessels destined for England, the Fifth Column struck. The attack force destroyed dozens of ships and injured thousands before they withdrew into hiding. The Nazi spies spent the rest of the war wreaking havoc up and down the Eastern seaboard, fighting countless skirmishes with America's own heroes. Under the leadership of the ruthless and deadly Requiem, the Fifth Column killed hundreds and cost the US millions in war materials. In the closing months of the war they became desperate and careless, and heroes like The Statesman brought most of the covert cadre to justice."
  20. Neither replying to your posts, nor disagreeing with you is narcissistic or trolling. But sure, let's see where it gets me. 🤣 😁 😁 🤣
