My toons are spread over all the shards, but anything I'm leveling (incl. vet leveling), I move to Exc. I'm not big into SGs, so there's nothing lost in that strategy.

I farmed with my WP/Fiery Melee tank. Actually used him to get my farming brute leveled and built. I agree with @Sovera, though, might as well make a broot.

And resist is great, until the incoming damage is such that even 10% per hit eventually kills you.

What Destiny do you run, on that toon? What other Destinies or buffs did the rest of the team bring?

Easy to test yourself, now that it's live. Set your diff to +1/8 and start an ITF on 1-star, "Tenacious", solo. herd a couple mobs and that will tell you how it's going to go. No issues, lather, rinse, repeat on 2-star.

Yeah, that was a blast. I think the defeat counter was off (but we did have Witty on the team) and we were very conservative in pulling/herding, not knowing how an all-tank team would manage (and I only counted one team member with Barrier). Better planning and prep and we could have done it in about 20-30 min. less time, with near zero defeats methinks.

Uh, as far as 4* HM ITF goes, if Rommie gets Barrier... Just means *his* team has to take out the members of your team, that are casting it (like his squids). The difference is the heroes hit back. 😆

If you pull them offshore, to deep enough water, you can fight at their shoulder level.

Was that with us? I was NUTCRCKR and @Linea was driving Angel Hornet. Agreed, we had a Dom drop, during the third mish, and when the other tank dropped, it was a done deal. Getting all the way to the final Romulus fight with a PUG was impressive, regardless, and there weren't as many team defeats (until the last fight) as I would have expected. We had a good mix of archs and Linea leading, so that helped a lot. The two GM robots and Vandal, at the same time, went really well, I thought. That's probably the second toughest part of the new mode.

No worries, bro. I also failed to realize that to truly do a 1-Star HM ITF, I should have set the diff at +1/8. Even at +4, we made it all the way to the last Rommie without you, but it was too much for just a melee team (with O2 boost as our only other buff 😁). Yes, yes, I'll come for another with the Master ITF team, if you'll have me.

Which is noteworthy, to remember this fact while comparing results. The 1-Star I was on was set to +4/8, which I would imagine is a whole hell of a lot tougher than at +1/8.

No, it auto ups the mob level, so will only be guaranteed +4 on 4-Star. 2 Star can be set at +2/8. Oh, I know it can be done. That much DPS is one of the best ways. I can guarantee that even though there were "rookies", the Master ITF challenge team had all the right incarnates (Barrier, Ageless DDR, etc.) and on perma rotations. I commend the devs for coming up with something so outrageous....and would argue that it even surpasses Aeon.

^---this Tried to get on one last night, as well, but was taking so long, so I started a PUG at 1-star. Drove my (previously) unkillable Inv/SS tank and wound up with the rest of the team consisting of two Scrappers, two Stalkers, a Blaster, a Storm Corruptor and a Sonic Defender. Good news is we had @Voltak driving the Defender, the bad news is he had mapserver issues and missed the last two missions. Without his buffs, we couldn't defeat Romulus, in the finale. We did kill the twin AVs and twin GMs (the new boss challenge is awesome), however. The devs did a great job and "forcing" teamwork as teamwork is essential.

Enterprise NC-1701-D stole the equipment for the holodeck refit.
