I haven't remade him, yet, but I had a DB/WP scrap on Live, and he was a freaking blender on damage and pretty tanky, to boot.

Definitely makes sense, since Spines/Fire is the king of the Br00t farmers, where AOE is king...

Hahaha, me too, and if I ran an EB map, I would certainly switch. Also, when I'm dragging my NUT (pun intended) on follow, he's the one running ageless, due to the Rage crash, so it all works out. I also prefer the linear track of the tunnel map (I'm a scientist, by training and trade), rather than a bunch of wandering mobs. All in all, it's just really nice to have choices 😁 You sure can and I'll probably build them and the Banished Pantheon, since I understand there is an indestructible pet that helps, as well.

Thank you. Great points, all. I have the Miracle +recovery in the set in Healing Flames. He's VL 31, and doesn't use the Lore slot, so has Barrier and Ageless (and still over 100 Emps and nearly 1,000 threads left). I rarely have end problems and when I need an end boost, I hit Consume. I'm no pro farmer and my attack "chain" is FE>FB (to freeze them in place)>Burn>BU>SB. Lather, rinse, repeat and watch them melt away. Ripper to finish off the bosses, at the end, but I move on to the next mob, when down to just bosses. Again, he's not a "pro", but can solo the Big Mobs tunnel farm (no EBs) at +4/8 in about 10 min., eating every inspiration that drops, immediately (smalls turned off), without ever being in danger of dying or running out of end. I really don't even need Barrier, but when I run a PUG farm, it helps the helpers, for sure.

☝️ - this. Not that respeccing at 50, to be a "true and only" Incarnate is a bad thing, my pre-I1 experience trained my brain that even, in those instances I power-leveled a toon to 50, the builds have been and will always be leveling builds, with incarnates as bonus. You can see it in my tank builds, as they are all primary heavy early, because a tank's job isn't necessarily to kill things, it's to keep your teammates from being killed...while they kill things....err, "arrest".

Why I humble myself in Linea's AE801-s and anxiously await the next update, with even higher difficulty settings. Having said that, it's because I loved the game where teaming was king, because every AT was needed. I'm an old school herding tank and, in not much other than a +4/8 ITF - if then, Incarnate teams steamroll everything...without the need for herding.

Fully kitted-out Inv/SS (this is NUTCRCKR's build), within a crowd (10 mobs for Invincibility) with Resilient and Melee Incarnates: Just silly, but definitely not "cheating"...

So sorry I missed it. Unfortunately, still having ISP issues, two months after Hurricane Ida... Good news is the infrastructure is no longer temporary and a permanent fix was applied, last night. I'm old, from the classic pre-I1 and love the Superman/Hulk powersets, so it's Super Strength, for me. Foot Stomp? THE most satisfying attack, in the entire game. Hand Clap? The Hulk would be proud. Knockout Blow? Bolo wind up, hits like a freight train and watch them fly.

I only use the hero creator, so it's Spines/Fire/Fire, rather than the classic Spines/Fire/Electric, but no less effective, in my book. <----unashamed Invulnerability fanboy Agree with everything said about "layering". Why Inv and Shield are so good, if you're looking at just survivability. I will say, however, when the Def numbers go in the red, even at 90% resist, when being hit by 10, 15, 20 enemies at at time (I'm looking at you Romanesque Cimerorans), that 10% can add up to feel like a sort of cascading failure...

And also referencing Krimson and BZB, there is already another way to pay, what, 200,000,000 INF to "craft" Rare incarnate components (25,000,000 each for Uncommon x4 and another 100,000,000 for the Rare)....

It's a "combo" based attack set, like Street Justice. Does make you work to get the combos in order, but not really challenging, once you get the rhythm down. I've never used it on a tank, but had a wonderful DB/WP scrapper on Live. Lots of animations, lots of damage.
