  1. Quoted for emphasis. More people doesn't necessarily mean a better playing experience for everyone. If servers are merged, what happens to our stacks of FAT LOOT we have in our sg bases? What happens to things on the auction house? Not being snarky, genuinely curious.
  2. If you don't give enemies at least 1 ranged attack, they will always be worth less experience. The game knows you are intentionally gimping them and reacts accordingly.
  3. Great suggestions. Also, it's good to announce how many merits it's worth (hovering over the TF in the LFG list will tell you), and announce it's the WST if it is, and that it's double merits and gives a Notice of the Well for incarnates. Example: Kill most. Yin TF. Level 20+ required. LF6M. 20 merits Example: Kill most. Yin TF. Level 20+ required. LF6M. WST, 20x2 merits, notice of the well
  4. Ha nope apparently I'm not paying attention. Good to know though!
  5. These can already be triggered by completing missions in the game, so you can force them to occur. It would be nice if there were a similar way to trigger zombie invasions though, possibly Mr. Bocar's Loa Bone arc.
  6. As someone whose idea of a good time is writing actual AE stories, and who plays only on Torchbearer, I can't get behind this idea.
  7. Back in ye olden timeys, playing as a Kheldian or inviting a Kheldian to your team would often offer the surprise of Void Hunters and Shadow Cyst Crystals appearing in your missions. I always thought the Shadow Cyst Crystals were chaotic good fun and offered a dynamic change from the usual and expected missions. Can these be brought back? As these were often difficult challenges and a Void could do extra damage to a Kheldian, perhaps as an option that can be enabled/disabled by Mr. Gull. Not be left out, though Villains often are, VEATs could be hunted by these new Hero Corps Vigilantes we've been teased with? Also an option to be enabled and disabled by our pal Null. I don't think all situations call for them to appear, for example I don't think Hero Corps will jump your team while they're saving the world from Praetorians or Rikti, but they definitely would while you're running LRSF. Void Hunters would probably strike at any point though. Have a Keld AND a VEAT on your team at the same time? Let chaos reign!
  8. The IO crafting table doesn't stay in the world for very long, but once you have the window open, you can continue crafting even after it disappears. The tailor window could function similarly, and stay open even after the coatrack disappears from the world.
  9. I think shield is just so good that you can pair it with whatever you enjoy for concept or playability and be successful. I paired it with ice melee because I don't see much ice melee, the slippery ice patch makes me happy and provides some additional mitigation, and the concept of the ice shield paired with ice swords fits my ice golem theme.
  10. I definitely want the power to summon an army of monkeys
  11. The ability to create endless self-spawning ambushes would allow endless AFK farming, so it's probably not high on the priority list.
  12. You could do something like that with bosses, defeat a boss and it spawns another boss, and that boss defeat spawns a boss, and that boss defeat spawns a boss, until you use up all of the map's available boss slots. You could add ambushes on top of the boss spawns as well. You cannot add ambushes to ambushes however.
  13. I'd love an event where Requiem found a way to power the giant robots from the third mission of the ITF; perhaps he found a couple of well-drinkers shortly after they gained their powers but before they learned how to use them properly. Destroy robots before they destroy Cimerora. This would probably work better as a league trial than a zone event as it jumps out of the zone timeline. Alternately, the league could use the defeated Requiem and Romulus as the power sources to boot up the robots and players can operate them with an alternate power tray, like during Deadlock's Personal Story where the player "becomes" the robot.
  14. You can have up to 5 missions in one Arc. If you need more space, you could write multiple arcs as part of the same overarching storyline. As for maps, you could use some of the Cimerora maps for North Africa (under Unique - Cimerora and Unique - Newly Released). Unique - Outdoor will have a lot of forests and burning or destroyed cities that you could make use of. I read in the AMA that part of the reason they never went back to revisit this era (which includes the rise of Statesman as well as Brass Monday and some other interesting things) is the difficulty in creating all new artwork to match the era.
  15. Thanks so much for playing! I went back and fixed the issues mentioned; I forgot about the missing bios. Escort mechanics were driving me crazy on this one.
  16. I think everyone should take a support-role tanker (crowd control and taunt as opposed to pure offensive focus) and support-role heal/buff character into a difficult team situation (early level pug, high level Aeon, etc) to get a true appreciation of what these roles bring to the table, and hopefully learn more about good teamwork dynamics.

  18. Sounds fun, I kind of want one! Blaster Electric, energy or psychic blaster paired with ninja Scrapper Dual blades or katana depending on your preference, paired with energy or super reflexes Controller Mind or gravity control, secondary would be kind of a stretch for kin, time, emp, force field Dominator Too Sithy? Mind or gravity with electric, energy or psi assault
  19. They should have called it Thfour! It even looks Scandinavian!
