  1. April Fool's event, aka Mapserver. Enjoy the xp! I like the basketball spiders the best myself.
  2. i am sad gm_bot is not granting graphic upgrades this year 😞
  3. I saw this and thought it was for base decorations
  4. Maybe those items could be added to the base creator, like the intrabase teleport points; OR a map creator could be added to the AE, independent of bases but with all the same tools. And hopefully no joker makes a nightmarish maze of invisible walls and floors...
  5. Surprised nobody mentioned stretchyman powers. A ranged...melee...set?
  6. I have used the Sorcery pool a couple of times, only to end up feeling like I should be focusing on my primary and secondary abilities as they are more effective for that toon's primary role, and ended up dropping it. However, I really like the theme and animations. Taking a shot at a Mystic Arts defender primary and corrupter/controller/mastermind secondary. Mystic Arts Nectanebo's Curse: Ranged, Foe -defense, -speed, -recharge Arcane Blast: Ranged, Minor Negative Energy Damage, Foe Knockback. Cursed enemies take additional negative energy damage. Li Tieh Kuai's Blessing: Ranged, Ally, Moderate Heal, +Res(Negative Energy Damage, Disorient, Sleep, Fear, Confusion) Joule's Hex: Foe Hold. Turns held enemies into random objects, a la Gravity's Propel or /emote alakazamreact. If only there were a newt model in the game already. Cursed enemies suffer additional 1 mag hold and suffer additional -speed, -recharge. Arcane Ward: Ally, +absorb, +recovery Enflame: Toggle, Ranged Friend/Foe, target will leave a fiery trail behind them that will damage enemies. Unlike pool power, this does not deactivate until Sorcerer deactivates it or runs out of endurance. Cursed enemies take additional damage. Rune of Weakness: Ranged Location AOE, Foe -resist, -damage, -tohit. Cursed enemies are stunned. Crowley's Incantation: Ranged, Foe -regen, -recovery. Cursed enemies take negative energy damage over time. Runes of Protection: PBAoE, Team +resist all damage, hold, sleep, immob, knockdown, disorient. Enemies who are affected by Nectanebo's Curse are Cursed, and feel additional magical effects.
  7. Sorry D, your subject said "within reason," I may have failed the assignment =P
  8. For sure more maps, and power pool access would be great to give some Sorcery or Science Experimentation flavor, etc. I'd like it if we could write arcs for 8-16 player leagues. I think the game needs more content for groups of this size, and what better way to create more of it than to outsource to the AE writers? I say this without any understanding of what it would take to make this possible. I have lots of ideas for these and would love to try writing them. Wish #2: The ability to put the next mission door inside your mission, such as, TinPex or Sutter where you fight bad guys outside, then go into the sewer, then out the other side of the sewer. This would go so well with my 16 person trial "The Liberation of Warburg" where you fight Rogue Arachnos in the city, then dip into the sewers to clear out Arachnoids and capture scientists, then hop back out to defeat Marshal Blitz once and for all. You know, just as an example. Wish #3: What is it called when you play a character's personal story, and you become that character? For example "Deadlock's Personal Story," where you become Deadlock and have access to only his powers? I'd love to have this mechanic, for example, if you were on a Liberation of Warburg story and had the optional objective of clicking a computer in the Malta base and suddenly YOU were driving a Kronos Titan, with access to the Titan's powers instead of your own. Wish #4: Shapeshifting? Fight a scrawny nerd only to have him play a "drink potion" emote and turn into an 8' minotaur. Fight a monster of a boss, at 25% health he surrenders (hat tip cranebump above), changes to costume #2, that of your story contact who's been begging you to stop the monster the whole time.
  9. It'd be nice if there was an optional setting to have the Boss forms of the monsters that spawn in the final portion of the trial show up as GMs that count towards the badge. It'd be much more difficult at the end since there's 3 at a time (I think), but if your league is stout it shouldn't be a problem, plus more chances to get the biggies you need. Bonus points for +merits for each one defeated.
  10. I didn't like the badges that needed the Aethers, as grindy badge requirements irk me. On the other hand,
  11. If it's a character I plan to spend any time, I respec and fix it. We have respecs for a reason! If it's an alt I don't plan to circle back to, I just leave it on the shelf. I don't see myself ever creating a duplicate character and leveling and slotting the same one, although friends of mine do that. You could also use a characters second and third builds, as an option to a respec or starting over.
  12. It's super useful for zipping through missions to an objective at the end without fighting your way through everyone, or a mid-combat power to save your life and let you regen or use an inspiration. It's also nice that it is 100% effective with zero slot investment, and you can even use it as a place to put an LOTG +rech. That said, it's Tier 1, and you can skip it if you don't want it.
  13. I thought the Longbow Warden gladiator was nerfed for badge credit? I used Rebirth at Hami Raids and MSRs (which you also need to do for badges) and got the healing badges very quickly.
  14. i think our /darks are dark/ fenders, we did that too 🙂
  15. The best thing to do is bring all of them! I ran an all-corrupter 4-star Aeon last night with my pals and it was awesome. Not sure I'd try it with Marlon Randos though. We even finished off Vanguard for the bonus aether. We had two /colds, an /electric, /poison, /rad, /nature, /thermal and /kin.
  16. It's still a great build. I used it as a starting point for my fire/kin and modified it for my playstyle from there.
  17. I love my TA defender, but like others said, you pretty much want all the powers. I wouldn't skip ice or net arrows due to the debuffs, and I find glue indispensable as well. I recommend a secondary with fast-recharging powers as you won't be able to take many of them. Also want to include something that can light your oil slick on fire.
  18. I did a rad/ defender superteam with my SG back in the days of Live and it was awesome. We were taking down GMs and AVs by the teens in the pre-IO days. We had a mix of secondary powers that came with additional effects, ie rad blast for the -def, dark for -tohit, sonic for -res, etc. Fun memories.
  19. It is a "player is only affecting self" kind of power though, so one can't shuffle and battle at the same time.
  20. I believe this already exists as an option at the Costume Creator?
  21. Love Trick Arrow for debuffs. Not sure how it could be called slow either.
  22. Agreed and agreed. Who cares if other people make inf?
