  1. I dunno if it was just me, but for some reason, Katie Douglas didn't seem to recognize me when I first re-met her in First Ward.
  2. Ok, here's another one.
  3. That may make more sense anyway, since the most logical enemy to unite resistance and loyalist is Hami, and secretly, Cole's government still has truce. The tf would have to be offered by a non-Cole administration person. Plus, primals have no particular reason to be in Praetoria proper, but are notified to go to First Ward at level 20 or whatever.
  4. Thanks for this SF! I really liked the writing in this. It is hilarious. The maps are very cool and the fights are mechanically interesting in the challenge settings. It's the only tf/sf I have soloed (did it twice to have time to read and find little details). The dimensional ripple missions are incredibly epic.
  5. Can confirm, they're really good. I especially think the loyalist arc nails Sinclair's personality.
  6. Claws Scrapper and EM Scrapper
  7. Might be able to bypass that by getting stealth. Gold side ambushes can't see through stealth, but they'll still go to your location.
  8. WP aside, Rad and Bio both get + recovery auto powers pretty early too. Bio's offensive adaptation may help further save end by killing faster or efficient adaption by just plain saving end.
  9. That's the best part. It gives me the dopamine rush to fuel my gambling addiction without the crippling real world financial impacts. Choosing the HO after a Hami is truly the razor thin margin keeping me off the streets.
  10. You are like a little baby. Watch this. -Older Stalker sets
  11. Lol that's gotten me before. It is always after another mistake where you accidentally clicked the wrong place, and want to just immediately reboard to go to the right location.
  12. It probably takes less effort, just more time. It's like spending millions on an F1 car, having the prep time, warm up, etc to go around a track really really fast vs climbing into a Camry and doing the same track with little effort or preparation. If you count prep time, it is probably actually slower than just doing it solo more normally since you wouldn't have to email a bunch of shit to yourself/buy the supers. Personally I think the email interface sucks to deal with too. Also other speed runs in other games involves actual bugs and stuff, like getting out of the map geometry to skip large portions of levels. Somehow using two mechanics that are well functioning in an unusual combination just seems like little baby stuff. I am not an inspiration emailer or hard core player in any way but I still don't see how it harms anyone. It in fact takes effort to fix, rather than leave in, which is what you and Bill's responses miss.
  13. When I was researching the history of the Hasten crash, I found a note left in the page source of the wiki saying "I'm sorry, but we needed to add the crash to perma Hasten to survive the Coming Storm."
  14. That and how bad they are at keeping up. Since I know it would cause the code to spill out of every orifice to try to implement the ability to carry rescued people out of there like a sack of potatoes, I would settle for being able to teleport all npc followers and command then to stay.
  15. I like procs personally. Maybe they're novel to me since I never really did much with them for a long while, including back on live, but to me, they are a way to "supercharge" an attack. It is expensive to do so since you forgot forgo set bonuses AND enhancement value to proc bomb something, and you can't slot any recharge at all normally. Generally a build could only afford one or two powers to take this treatment or you won't reach your other build goals. For the reason of mechanics, your heavy hitting single target attacks are prime candidates for this since they have longish recharge. I think it is cool to have long recharge heavy hitters. It feels really satisfying to see all the orange numbers and the chunk fall off your target's hp (or straight up deleting someone). Another prime beneficiary of the PPM formula are the epic single target holds, which still retain their value as holds, but add damage to some low damage AT's. They're not going to overshadow an actual DPS AT or anything but it is a nice bonus for the higher levels. It just seems to be another interesting thing to think about when in Mids, which personally I have a lot of fun with.
  16. I also want to say the Aeon SF is pretty damn awesome. It is extremely epic and mechanically interesting. Plus the dialogue is hilarious.
  17. If someone could fix the market bug where it won't display the last 5 (I know the workaround of bidding on it and checking the price that way) that would be cool, but IIRC it was probably not going to happen due to spaghett.
  18. I guess it would be some compensation for the poor lethal damage dealers. Well, claws (other than stalker claws) is probably already good enough, and kat too probably. But I wouldn't say no...
  19. You can't open the Pandora's Box of bleeding damage or all the ar/dp/claws/katana/bs/axe/other pointy object user I may be forgetting will be asking for it.
  20. P2W stuff probably. They are such a good QoL increase. I can have respectable travel speed, good enough flight, level 1 full attack chain (of for no other reason than the long animation times, lol), 2x XP, various teleporters, and that portable workbench. Revamped Energy Melee too. My favorite character right now is an EM/Bio scrapper. So much single target damage. I just like the big orange numbers. It really activates my neurons.
  21. Now that Christmas is over, the rest of the season is just shit. I vote we have a sunny tropical reskin of AP instead for the rest of the winter.
  22. Need this option for stalker hide.
  23. Stalker electric melee probably doesn't need a buff (although I won't say no...) As it is probably one of the top stalker sets as is. Otherwise I'm down for a buff to the other electric melees. They definitely seem lackluster outside of lightning rod. I play electric melee a decent amount on a brute and tanker so I'm definitely personally enthusiastic for a buff.
  24. It's "Monkey Blast". The T9 is throwing an explosive barrel.
